♦ What was a mildly annoying thing that has happened to you rp wise?

♦ : I remember someone was writing a scene with me and pointed out a detail that they said wasn’t something they’d written. I was certain it was because it was just One Of Those Deets that I just remember in order to write about it? This person insisted and I ended up second-guessing myself, which i hate doing

then i went through all the replies and found out that I was right and they were wrong and they offered a weak apology. what’s worse is the thread sucked and ended up being dropped by them shortly after.

things like that are so annoying. this is why i tag my threads, so i can search them and be able to read everything from that one thread and know what’s going on.

☯ : Yes, and usually I regret it later because the people involved were ungrateful pains in the ass or everyone was just a genuine asshole and not worth the trouble because no one wants to listen, they only want their problems to be heard and to have Pity Parties showered upon them. I don’t have time to be a peace maker unless it affects me directly.

♒ : I don’t pay much attention to the Fandom, there are a lot of things I don’t like out there- particularly regarding behavior and fetishizing and I don’t want to be associated.

this one made me laugh out loud irl. c:

I actually lose my chill a lot.

The thing is...

I just sit there and try to think about why I’m ticked off for a while and if it’s warranted versus a gut reaction. Also, I consider if the situation/transgression is really worth addressing and in what manner.

When it comes to rp related stuff, if another rper ticks me off enough I have no problem cutting them off. I’m here for fun, not to teach other people how to treat me or internet/rp ettiquet.

As for anything specific?

There was a time when a person decided to write their character suddenly and aggressively antagonizing Rick at the slightest hint of him being arrogant- which really ruined the thread and Rick ended up dismissing himself shortly after. I’m not going to keep my character in a scene because someone else has a hardon for writing cliche asshole characters.
