 cockroaches are even harder to stomach when you've tried to stomp on them so many times . to say vegas felt regret would be a lie , in fact he was more focused on forgetting whatever he did before his shared experience with tawan . revenge was the last thing on his mind , or not at all . not quite eager to return to the life of a bird locked up in a golden cage . and he knew , tawan wasn't a man who came for love . . . he liked the luxury . he liked going to hawaii on the weekends and spending their nights on million dollar sheets — vegas didn't have anything now . save for the savings he's gathered without letting anyone know that hardly matched the lifestyle he had a while ago . tawan’s smile isn't mirrored , he suddenly feels self aware of the bullet wound on his shoulder blade , feels as if it throbs in a reminder . ❛ who saved you ? ❜  it was an instinct mostly , that he's absorbed by living in a pack of wolves . he didn't want to protect kinn now , far from it . but if there has to be an attack it must take action under his own watch . ❛ this is not the right place to look for a rich husband , by the way . ❜

Cockroaches were hard to kill. At least, it was what Tawan’s father had told him when he had woken up in the hospital. The last thing he remembered was the bang of a gun. A stabbing pain. He had lay there in the old warehouse, ready to die, but something wouldn’t let him. So, he had crawled his way out of there just fast enough to not be blown up with the rest of the building. Tawan couldn’t remember much after it. Nothing at all, really, and recovering had been a long road. Had come with one condition after another from his father. The rich businessman had finally realized that his son needed to be watched more closely.

But Tawan still had some of his own connections. Even after his fake death. After the time he had spent hidden away with Vegas. It had been enough to find his former fiancé… Well, the man he had believed to be that. “I was!” He looked down at his body. “Almost!” A smirk appeared on his face. “I’ve heard we share that experience.”

okay first of all you have to know this about theerapanyakul family ; their clan is two families combined .

the minor family and major family . minor family is the clan of the younger theerapanyakul brother , gun , who has two sons named vegas and macau . minor family practically takes care of all the dirty work that can't be done in the open by major clan . it deals with most of the costumers , unless they're too important and have to meet the major clan to do business . vegas is minor clan's heir , the older brother of macau .

vegas is mostly sent to clan's ' threatening ' and scaring jobs . torturing , getting rid of the betrayers , making sure their borders are clean and safe , watches over the ones that are acting suspicious . most of their workers know vegas more than they know people from major clan because vegas is easier to see , major clan people live in luxury and high up above the whole kingdom so seeing them is kind of a dream .

major clan is the head of the theerapanyakul family , while minor clan can be described as fists maybe .

the big big theerapanyakul boss is korn , who has three sons ; tankhun , kinn and kim . and while tankhun is the oldest , he isn't qualified to be the heir because he has been kidnapped when he was a kid by their enemy and it left some serious damages in his mental and physical health .
