It’s been a while...

New leaked NBA City Edition Jerseys.  I’m feeling this a lot!  Feel like the last couple years the Lakers haven’t worn enough purple (or Forum Blue as OG’s call it).

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted anything here.

Funny how we all thought that once the King arrived, we’d be back to our winning ways.

Safe to say it’s been quite the opposite story as we wallow in mediocrity with the close of the season on the horizon.

Lebron is having a typical Lebron year stat wise but we’re losing to teams that we should be beating.

Lebron’s injury obviously hurt a lot but honestly, Lonzo’s injury stung more because right before he went down he was playing his best ball thus far in his young career.  He was our defensive anchor.

The Anthony Davis fiasco fractured the locker room.

Luke should have been fired a month ago. 

I could keep going but I know you guys know what’s up.

Anyway this clip of Kuzma pushing Lebron to close out on an open shot pretty much summarizes Lebron’s lack of defensive effort all season long- which is completely unacceptable for a player of his caliber.

Since this Tumblr is 400+ posts rich with Vintage Laker memories, I think this is an appropriate time to start cataloguing our gradual rise back to prominence, so I’ll be posting anything positive that we can take from the remainder of this 2018-19 season.
