1 .     what   does   their   bedroom   look   like  ?

this   got   too   long   so   it   has   it’s   own   post   !

2 .     do   they   have   any   daily   rituals  ?

 first   thing   he   does   after   waking   up   enough   to   think   is   make   a   to  -   do   list   for   his   mom  .      things   she   needs   to   remember   to   do   or   get   typically  .       sometimes   he’ll   wake   up  ,  do   this  ,   tack   it   on   the   fridge  ,   then   go   back   to   bed   if   it’s   a   weekend  .       he   instinctually   will   play   music   while   getting   ready   for   school    &    most   always   his   morning   song  ,   which   he’ll   hum  along   to   tiredly  ,   is   three   little   birds   by   bob   marley  .      in   the   time   after   dinner    &    before   he   puts   himself   to   bed   he’ll   check   his   world   of   warcraft   account   to   either   play   if   he   has   time   or   just   make   sure   nothing’s   happening    &    run   by   the   forums   he’s   on  .

5 .     cleanliness   habits  .

 bad .    he   puts    off   laundry   for   as   long   as   he’s   able    &    even   then   sometimes  ,   if   he   has   no   clean   shirts   left  ,   won’t   do   the   laundry    &    instead   will   simply   go   to   school   with   no   shirt   on  ,   just   his   hoodie   which   is   most   likely   dirtier   than   all   his   shirts   as   his   attachment   to   it   has   it   rarely   washed  .     he’ll   wear   the   same   socks    &    pants   for   days   as   well  .      he   could   do   with   showering   more   often  ,   i   hate   to   say  .     he   seems   to   think   a   few   sprits   of   febreeze   fixes   everything  .      overall   he   kinda   has   a   usual   smell   of   some   sort   of   musk  ,  stale   weed   scent  ,   &   febreeze  .     he’s   not   so   bad   when   he   showers ,  though  .     his   shampoo   has   him   smell   like   mint  .      he   also   has   dandruff   shampoo   as   he   has   an   issue  .      he   brushes   his   teeth   everyday   though   so   that’s   something  .

 in  terms   of   tidiness   his   room   is   typically   a   bit   of   a   mess  ,   as   mentioned   before  ,    &    the   lack   of   light   it   usually   gets   has   it   a   bit   stuffy   though   he   doesn’t   seem   to   mind  .     for   school   he’s   a   disorganized   mess   who   is   often   turning   in   crumpled   assignments   found   in   the   depth   of   his   backpack  .     it’s   amazing   he   can   find   anything   he’s   supposed   to   in   there  .

6 .     eating   habits  .

 mornings   are   usually   very   grab  ‘n   go  .     granola   bars   are   the   go - to   or   cereal   (  cap’t  crunch ,  cinnamon   toast   crunch ,   or   cocoa   puffs  )    if   he   has  the   time  .       if   you   make   bacon   he’ll   perk   up   pretty   fast  ,   too  .     lunch  is   leaving   campus    &    grabbing   a   bite   to   eat   from   a   nearby   local   japanese   restaurant   (  usually   sushi  )    &   then   heading   to   the   7/11   the   restaurant   is   by   for   a   slushie   as   well   as   any   other   snacks   he   decides   on  .     on   weekends  ,   when   fending   for   himself  ,   it’s   usually   the   same   thing   but   with   jeremy   or   it’s   heating   up   leftovers  .     dinner   is   whatever   recipe   his   mom   finds   in   her   cookbooks  .     she   got   into   cooking   when   he   was   younger    &    finds   she   enjoys   the   routine   of   it  .     she’s   not   horrible  ,   so   nobody   complains  .

 between   meals   he’s   very   much   a   snacker .    (   possibly   caused   by   the   fact   he   smokes   a   good   amount  )     he’s   a   fan   of   the   constant   presence   of   chips  ,   doritos   of   either   nacho   cheese   or   cool   ranch   are   his   favorites ,   &    he   also   likes   popcorn    &   multicolored   pieced   candies   such   as   m&ms  ,   skittles  ,   &   reese’s   pieces  .     also   loves   fruit   snacks  .      funyuns   are   high   on   the   delicious   list  .     can   cheese   is   on   there   as   well  .      most   anything   you   can   find   at   a   convenience   store   he   likes  .     if   he   has   a   good   amount   free   time   he’s   probably   going   to   find   a   snack  .

*   🎮      /     HEADCANON     :     neuroses  .

 he’s   aware   he   has   some  .     he’s   even   been   tested    &    diagnosed   for   some   such   as    ADHD   &   anxiety  .      he   was   prescribed   with   adderall  for   his   ADHD    &    took   it   from   age   ten   to   fourteen   but   disliked   it   due   to   the   fact   it   made   his   own   thoughts   feel   weighted    &    his   personality   drained  .     he   also   lost   a   lot   of   weight   when   on   adderall   due   to   it   suppressing   his   appetite  .     when   entering   high   school   he   began   to  ,   instead  ,   sell   it   to   those   looking   to   get   a   high   off   it  .      it’s   still   prescribed   to   him   to   this   day   but   he   still   refuses   to   take   it  .     instead  he   frustratingly   suffers   through   his   ADHD   with   constant   jittery   movements    &    forcing   himself   to   focus   on   things   to   the   point   of   tears   sometimes  .     

 at   fourteen   he   also   began   selling   xanax   when   diagnosed   with   anxiety   due   to   the   sensory   overload   anxiety   he   had   that   was   brought   on   by   his   ADHD  .      he   easily   gets   overwhelmed   by   several   flashing   lights   or   mass   movement   in   crowds  ,    loud    &   surrounding   booming   sounds   or   many   loud   sounds   from   many   sources   at   once  ,     &   finally   by   sudden   physical   touch   not   initiated   by   himself    &    especially   from   someone   he   doesn’t   know   or   tight   spaces   /   crowds   where   he   has   to   squeeze   through  .      typically   he   finds   all   this   avoidable   by   staying   away   from   parties  .     he   also   self   medicates   with   marijuana  .      at   school   he   deals   with   the   crowd   of   his   classmates   by   more   or   less   ignoring   it  .     michael   can   detach   himself   easily   when   given   a   way   to   block   out   the   world   which   is   something   the   noise   canceling   headphones   often   seen   around   his   neck   give   him   the   ability   to   do  .     keeping   his   head   down  ,   hood   up  ,    &    his   music   on   (  only   removing   the   headphones   when   needing   to   in   class   or   when   addressed   by   jeremy   typically  ,   at   least   pre  -  squip   incident  )   allows   him   to   move   through   the   day   with   ease   simply   in   his   own   world  .

 aside   from   his   ADHD    &    anxiety   another   main   neurosis   he   has   is   hemophobia   or   a   blood   phobia  .     while   able   to   handle   it   in   video   games    (  by  the   ability   to   detach   video   games   from   reality   well    &    the   fact   he   usually   plays   more   retro   games   with   less   than   great   graphics  )   he   cannot   stand   blood   in   real   situations  .     the   sight    &    smell   of   it   makes   him   sick   to   his   stomach  .     a   little   has   him   uncomfortable  ,   a   fair   amount   makes   him   queasy ,   a   lot   can   cause   him   to   actually   vomit  .     in   instances   of   extreme   amounts   of   blood   (  i.e.   once   when   his   older   brother   cut   his   thumb   wide   open   on   accident  )   michael   can   even   faint  .      he’s   uncomfortable   with   many   scary   movies   due   to   this   nor   is   he   a   fan   of   halloween   when   a   lot   of   fake   blood   is   seen  .

upstairs ,   turn   to   the   left ,   go   down   the   hall ,   last   door   on   the   right .      it  was   his   originally   his   older   sister’s   room   until   she   was  ten  ,   michael   moved   into   it   when   he   was   six .      the   door   is   a   dark   wood   with   a   round   golden   handle  .     on   the   outside   of   the   door   you   can   see   marks   on   the   door   frame   where   his   mom   once   measured   his   sister’s   height   then   his   own   height  .     there’s   also   an   old   poster   for   space   invaders   on   the   outside   of   the   door  .      behind   the   door   is   a   hook   where   there   always   seems   to   be   some   sort   of   hoodie   or   coat   or   both   hanging .     inside   it’s   not   a   large   room   by   any   means   but   large   enough   to   be   comfortable   in  !      it’s   about   10 x 8  .     he’s   got   hardwood   floors   that   have   seen   their   days   of   wear -  n  -  tear   such   as   scrapes   from   sliding   furniture   around   .      part   of   the   ceiling ,  to   the   left   when   facing   in   from   the   doorway ,   is   low   &  slants   upwards   from   the   roof  .     his   bed ,   a   full ,   is   tucked   into   a   corner   of   the   room   with   the   head   of   it   under   the   slanted   side   of   the   room  .     it   doesn’t   have   a   bed   frame   the   mattress   just   sits   atop   a   wooden   boxspring  .     he’s   got   white   sheets   with   a   red   comforter    &    a   pac   man   blanket  .       at   the   end   of   his   bed  ,   across   from   his   door  ,   is   a   small   window   however   the   navy   blue   curtains   it   has   are   typically   pulled   shut  .       across   from   the   end   of   his   bed   is   his   closet ,   door   wooden   like   the   door   to   the   room   but   with   a   square   panel   of   shutters   on   the   top   half ,   &   inside   that   is   a   shelf ,   hung   clothes ,   &   his   shoes  tucked   inside   it’s   2 x 3   space  .    

the  walls   are   an   average   light   beige    &    he’s   got   posters    &    such   decorating   much   of   the   walls   for   games ,  comics ,   &   bands    (   posters   to   be   listed   later  .  )       he   has   a   short   bedside   table  ,   decorated   with   a   few   stickers  ,   with   one  drawer   by   his   bed    &    beneath   it   is   a   small   stack   of   tins    &    boxes   holding   things   from    pokemon   cards    to   weed   to   nostalgic   heavy   knick   knacks  .     ontop   his   nightstand   is   a   simple   digital   clock    &    simple   desk   lamp   decorated   with   mario   stickers  .      his   dresser ,   short   with   four   drawers ,   sits   to   the   left   of   his   bedroom   door  .     it’s   made   of   light   wood    &    on   top   it   is   a   small   TV   with   stacks   of   his   consoles   next   to   that   which   allows   him   to   play   comfortably   from   his   bed   or   from   the   beanbags   stacked   by   the   dresser   which   are   often   pulled   out   to   the   middle   of   the   room  .       he   has   a   desk   by   his   closet   which  ,   similar   to   the   dresser ,   is   light   colored  .     sometimes   his   laptop   will   be   on   it   but   more   often   it’s   on   his   bed  .     he   does   have   a   silver   eighties   bombox   constantly   sitting   on   it  ,   too ,   with   a   stack   of   cassettes   by   it  .     on   the   other   side   of   his   desk   is   a   small   white   cube   with   four   cubby   holes    containing    game   guides  ,   games  ,    DVDs ,    &    miscellaneous   books  .     atop   his   cubby   holes   he   then   has   a   red    &   yellow    lava    lamp  .      lastly  ,   he   has   a   small   mini  fridge   under   his   window   at   the   end   of   his   bed   that   he   begged   for   for   christmas   for   storage   of   his   vintage   sodas  .      it’s   plain    &    black   but   has   a   small   white   board   on   it   that   usually   has   drawings   or   notes   from   jeremy   when   he   visits  .

his   room   is   typically   fairly   messy   with   scattered   school   related   objects   &    clothes   about   the   floor   as   well   as   tangled   game   controllers  .     his   bed   is   sometimes   sloppily   made   to   please   his   mother   but   typically   it’s   simply   a   mess  .     he   also   hardly   ever   turns   on   the   light   or   pulls   back   his   curtains  ,   preferring   the   dim   atmosphere   of   the   string   lights   he   has   about   the   room    &    his   lamps   on   his   desk     &     beside   table  .      this   causes   his   room   to   get   quite   dusty  ,   musky  ,    &    stuffy   sometimes  .

 a   very   short   headcanon   on   michael    &    his  music   taste  !       as   a   child   his   mother   would   play   a   lot   of   music   throughouht   the   house ,   often  a   fan   of   70 / 80s    (  particularly  prince  out  of   those   eras  )   she   was   also   a   fan   of   harry   belafonte  !     &   michael   would   like   best   when   his   mother   played   his   songs ,  giving   him   nostalgic   attachment   to   the   songs .     his   father   is   the   one   who   introduced   him  to   bob   ma.rley  ,  who   michael   clearly   took   a   particular   liking   to ,   as   well   as   bands   like   the   eagles   &   the   doob.ie   brothers .
