being pan is merely a label that people chose to use instead of bi. people have defined the terms differently over the years and the definition you get depends on who you ask but at the end of the day, they're both labels to describe attraction to multiple genders, just like polysexual or omnisexual. its not biphobic, it's not condemning bi people to identify as pan, there's no superiority there - just people chosing labels they feel comfortable and happy with, no harm no foul.

Polysexual and Omnisexual aren’t real, they’re just bisexual with different flags and trying to separate that from Bi is 1.Bi erasure and 2.Biphobic. Every Pansexual definition I see is just... Bisexual....

being pan isn't biphobic, and its panphobic to say so. its the same line of reasoning with transmedicalism. gatekeeping a community never does anyone any good, arguing within the lgbtq+ community doesnt help anyone, all it ever does is divide an already divided community further and then, nothing can be accomplished. everyone's too busy arguing about bi vs pan or how much/ what types of dysphoria you have to have to be "really" trans or arguing about ace inclusion to focus on any real problems.

I’m not gonna start the bi vs pan thing here. I just have opinions which are valid just like everyone else’s. Me personally as someone who is biromantic has taken in all of the evidence and information and has come to a conclusion. The label Pansexual is Biphobic. Pansexual people aren’t Biphobic. The label is. Transmeds are just people who believe you need gender dysphoria to be transgender. It doesn’t matter how dysphoric you are, it matters that you have gender dysphoria. Which is simply the disconnect of your brain and your sex.

transmedicalism - it doesn't help anyone. really, it doesn't. it just makes people hate themselves, it teaches you that you have to hate yourself and be suffering to be trans. people can be trans because they experience solely euphoria as another gender. im a trans guy myself, i only experience a very small amount of dysphoria but i sure am a hell of a lot happier as a man - if i experienced none, no one should stop me from being happy

I don’t support transmeds who are persistent on the fact dysphoria is hating yourself. Gender Dysphoria is merely the disconnect between your brain and your biological sex.
