... is that it's an extended version of the maze scene. oliver kisses felix, who shoves him away and calls him a f*ggot.

this would seal his fate twice and make oliver slightly more sympathetic for killing him.

i'm about to change my username to 'saltburn scholar,' because i've spent so much time correcting/confirming/adding to theories on here based on my encylopedic knowledge of the movie. it's pathetic at this point. every time i see a list like "things you didn't know about saltburn," it is at least 50% imdb trivia i personally wrote.
