the in-universe true crime surrounding what happened at freddy’s must be INSANE. like think about how big true crime is now.

imagine living in the fnaf universe and you find out about the case. and literally, still to this day, no one knows what actually happened.

Sure, a lot of fingers point to Henry. but his daughter died too. so either henry killed his own daughter, and the other kids. or william killed henry’s daughter, the other kids; and quite possibly his own kids. either way it’s insane. they both drop off the face of the earth around the same time, so neither of them could’ve been charged or investigated

and what do people think their motive was?

for william it’s probably a lot of needing power, wanting fame, actual psychological mental issues (just wait until people dig enough to find out about his childhood)

and what was henry’s motive? he just snapped one day?

a lot of people either assume there was in affair going on (henry was sleeping with william’s wife) so william got his revenge but killing the thing henrh cherished the most

other theories suggest that they might’ve loved each other, couldn’t act on it, (it was utah in the 80s. come on guys) and things went horribly wrong after one of them confessed their feelings

another theory is business disagreements. common.

but lastly, some people think it was neither henry or william, and it was a different, third party who commuted the murders. or! it was all of them working together

not one person is left though. not one person to tell the story and admit what truly happened.

There’s something very nice about remembering fics you read years ago. Maybe you remember the plot perfectly, maybe the rest of the fic is only a blur aside from a handful of vivid scenes, but you remember the way it made you feel. And sometimes you dredge up the memory - the premise or a favourite scene or a few lines that stayed with you -  and your heart aches a little bit, the way it does when you think about books you enjoyed as a child.

Quick, cunning, mischievous and poised yet also stubborn, arrogant and spiteful at times.

Is disliked by the assistant bots but he likes them in turn. He does deep down want to be friends with the other bots in the department yet there's this invisible barrier. (Could be cuz he's designed to kill on sight if you're a target maybe, who knows?)

Basically fighting humans and aliens (I'm gonna plan like there's a co-op going on in which one side is protecting humans + the other agency is protecting aliens / defending against extraterrestrial beings who wanna harm Earth - they've made an alliance and frequently team up with one another)

But mostly I'm focusing on the dynamic between Agent 007 & Q

Were you not a beginner once? Did you not write crack fic or self indulgent things for your own entertainment?

Maybe don't speak that way about your fellow fic writers? Just because some fics aren't as polished as others, or involve fetishes and tropes you don't enjoy, or are not the style you want your fics to be doesn't mean they're trash.

It's a horrible thing to say and beginners are going to be discouraged from writing knowing that their fics might be considered trash because they're just starting out.

the best advice i can offer you is to study anatomy, shapes, lighting, and color theory!

a lot of my improvement has come from studying both real life references and the works of artists i admire :) (shoutout to to impressionism, love that style)

to be honest tho, a lot of it is fucking around with random techniques and styles of rendering (AND SO MUCH PRACTICE HOLY SHIT) until something sticks

(for me, it was using textured brushes and mimicing painting techniques that stuck)

it may be frustrating at first, but i promise if you stick with it and keep practicing your brain will explode and then it will all suddenly make sense one day

i am so so far from a professional though—i have no idea what i’m doing man. i’m just throwing shit at canvas and hoping it looks nice /silly
