What the Scabiosa Blooms is an 18+ interactive fiction.

You never know what lurks within the dark.

Death seems far more interested in lingering in the city of Aevum, than anywhere else, as for the past few months, people having been dying left and right and the local authorities have not a single clue who the killer is.

All they can find is a single scabiosa flower in full bloom left at the crime scene.

Of course, strange as the surge of dead is, the markings on the bodies that come to you that you need to ‘clean’ are bizarre in its own right. Some of these markings don’t look like your normal animal bite or simple ‘blade-to-flesh’ contact. It’s almost monstrous, but there’s no such thing as monsters…

Right?

Play as a male, female, or nonbinary mortician who is dragged into a series of murders in the city of Aevum.

Be dragged into the investigation by strangers who seem far more invested in this than the local police force. Not to mention, something about them seem… Strange.

Piece together the mystery of what is going on in the city, attempting to put together the pattern and understand what the motive of the killer is, if there even is one.

Fall in love, or don’t. The choice is yours as strangely enough, people seem drawn to you despite your efforts and attempt to keep people out of your life. Make friends or enemies, find those to who are worthy to trust, or misplace your trust elsewhere.

Will you catch the killer, or will the killer catch you?

i am doing good ^-^! decimated a bag of seafood boil

im thinking abt having an inebriation stat, pretty sure it comes w the territory. then stats for powering up i think like, learning how to harness your powers. maybe some kind of health stat too?

then for personality we have

how shy or not you are

blunt vs graceful

how you navigate social situations

impish vs stern

i feel this is self-explanatory

crafty vs naive

street smarts !!
