Hi I'm Zeero, I use he/she/they pronouns, and my main fandoms are Starkid, Tin Can Brothers, and Shipwrecked.

I got tumblr because my discord friends told me to, mostly I use it to plug my starcanwrecked discord server and make polls (I love my silly little tumblr polls), but occasionally I make meaningful contributions to this app

I like that little questions thingy tumblr has so use that if you want

Attention all Sapphic Hatchetfield fans! (And Sapphic enjoyers too of course!!)

The Hatchetfield fandom is a wonderful place with a dedicated community of fans, both creators and readers alike. The realm of creativity we’ve gotten out of this series of musicals and online productions is truly incredible, and we at Blinky’s Rewatch Party love to see how the fandom plays with this universe Starkid has given us. However, there is one thing we’ve noticed.

There is a lack of F/F ships in this fandom. If one were to look at the Hatchetfield Universe tag on AO3, F/F ships are in the minority in terms of fics where it is the main focus. There is a tendency to add F/F ships as a background to a M/M or M/F ship fic, which has led to those types of fics to flood the search results when looking for purely F/F. We consider this unfair to those looking for their femslash fix. 

So let’s make a difference. Let’s write some. Let’s draw some, make edits, aesthetic boards, let’s fill that Hatchetfield tag on AO3 and Tumblr. With multiple timelines being canonical in the Hatchetfield universe, the possibilities are endless. It doesn’t have to just be sideline ships like Alice/Deb, it can devolve from what’s “canon” or just be plain crackships. The world is our oyster. What matters is that we can make a sizable chunk of fanworks that are predominantly centric around F/F ships.

Y'all should check out @heatherfield 's fic Walk Me Home it's a headless fic it's super amazing and was the first fic I read

i can't believe how many high quality fanfics there are in this fandom. like. well written. well characterised. a Considerable variety of ships and concepts and headcanons, with each writer bringing their own views to the fic but all still feeling like they're related to canon and like in line with it. iconic. i'm so grateful. amazing.

I loveee jumping on tumbr every few weeks to plug my really cool and active starcanwrecked discord server which also has a pulp musicals chat and totally awesome mods (thewoodwhistler and webby2007 on here) that you should totally join

We're doing a Gilded Lily readthrough soon (I think all the roles are full by now but we'll be doing more afterwards) and one of the mods is currently setting up a Blood On The Clocktower game (I had literally never heard of it before he had brought it up), we also play Gartic Phone and Frantic Fanfic fairly regularly and casually since our voice chats are used almost every day. Also we do watch parties of starcanwrecked content (there are some movies on the list too), we take requests for stuff to watch as well as for other events because we like to have the whole server involved in decisions for stuff that we're doing

We also have a chat where you can share your art (any kind not just fanart but there's a lot of fanart there), cosplays, edits- and other creative things that you do, as well as gay and gender chats for all of the lgbts, and a hot people chat (also mostly used by the lgbts), AND a happy chat where people share their lovely lovely thoughts

We are currently at 77 members and us mods really want to do something fun when we reach 100 so it would be really cool if you could help us get there!!

Ichabod crane is like sean's other awkward roles. Yet it never gets old.

"Can I get you anything? Coffee? Beer? Surge?" "I thought this was a drugstore.". "I can put drugs in it."

Brom Bones carrying the series (all of them actually but mostly the himbo has the most funny moments)

You would LOVE the headless horseman in this. Adorable, to put it simply

Brom's babes are the best. Their names are Tripp, Cal, and Blair. The TCB. Plus the babesteries show more of their dynamics and personality.

Loving all the characters bcos of how funny they are. They are very random tbh I like it.

Lauren with a moustache pretending to be a man for the umpteenth time.

There's a seemingly throwaway line that Brom says but is actually very relevant in the end.

The plot twist!!!! I never expected it. But also pretty sad.

Walk Me Home | A “Headless” Fic Chapter Fifty-One

Story summary: Brom and Matilda find their relationship status is more complicated than ever after the explosive reveal of a year’s worth of secrets. How do they navigate their way forward when they struggle to know what’s true? And yet, to their friends, some things couldn’t be more obvious. (Explores what happens in between the climax of the finale and the epilogue of “Headless: A Sleepy Hollow Story”.)

Chapter summary:  Matilda begins to take small steps forwards, but welcomes a break with Brom and their friends at Ferguson lake for some winter fun.

Author’s note: Somehow this chapter seemed to give me a bit of trouble, even though I've had the idea of a fun skating afternoon for awhile, but it was a bit more tricky to put down in writing. I think it came together, though! As always, I hope you like it!

I get that there are reasons people may have funded Cinderella's Castle and not Tinlightenment/why Cinderella's Castle got funded quicker than Tinlightenment, but I do not think you guys saying that understand JUST HOW BIG of a difference this was.

Cinderella's Castle fund goal was $250K, Tinlightenment fund goal was $200K and they raised $220K in total.

Tinlightenment raised their goal amount just before the final day of the kickstarter campaign, their campaign lasted a month. Cinderella's Castle got funded in a little less than 30 hours.

CINDERELLA'S CASTLE RASIED MORE MONEY IN 30 HOURS THAN TINLIGHTENMENT DID AN ENTIRE FUCKING MONTH. I can not understate how insane that is!

I have noticed in the past couple years people seem to only care about Hatchetfield, and it's okay to love Hatchetfield, I absolutely love Hatchetfield, it is my favorite of all StarCanWrecked productions, I became a fan because of Hatchetfield. But I remember during the first year of covid that there was so much love for EVERYTHING starkid, tcb and shipwrecked. But then after that first year it seems people only care for Hatchetfield.

Now I'm really so excited that so many people are excited for Cinderella's Castle, that's great!! I'm glad we are giving love to more stuff. But why are we only giving all our love to Cinderella's Castle? Why couldn't we give more love to the other productions going on? Hardly anyone talks about vhs christmas carols. Nobody talks about how the grunch cribbed Christmas. "but those are holiday things" ok sure but still hardly anyone was talking about grunch when it was actually coming out. Hardly anyone has been talk the case of the Greater Gatsby as that's been coming out and fear bc of its break even less people will talk about when it returns. In the tin can bros fandom it feels like I never see love anything except spies are forever really. The entire pulp musicals fandom seems to be just like 5 people.

I am begging fans who have seen more than just Hatchetfield to give love to more than just Hatchetfield. Please. You have seen how amazing all of this stuff we get to watch is. Go give it some love. Make some posts about it. I have some old fans/fans who have seen more than just Hatchetfield complain about fans who have just seen Hatchetfield and if you really think that then WHERE is your love for other stuff? You don't even have to make art or fanfic, you can just reblog stuff!

I am begging fans that have only seen Hatchetfield to at least TRY to watch something outside of it, you might like a lot of stuff, you just have to start with trying to find something that sounds appealing to you. You like spooky towns? Go check out wayward guide, solve it squad and headless. You just like musicals? Well starkid and tcb have many. Maybe you like short films. Maybe you like a certain franchise starkid has parodied. It is ok if you end up just liking Hatchetfield but I do think you should give other things its a try.

I know I'm probably coming off as rude and I'm sorry. And you don't have to go a show love for or watch anything outside of Hatchetfield if you don't want to. I just wish that people would. And I am frustrated that no one seems to care about 90% of the amazing stuff that has been made.
