nude legs cut off at the knees,

"Don't be ridiculous, I
don't want to hunt you,
I don't want to hurt
you, I want to purple you,
pocket you, take you home,
vinegar and spoil you,
I want to flower you,
it's just that some floras
have evolved acid bath
anatomies for dissolving
and drinking their catches."

between our toes and arches
and what's paved
and what's not"

Enjoy with blankets and drink.
Listen to her voice, especially her laugh,
and her undressing hold on a wine glass.
Love bodies the way bodies look.
Don't make play lists, make grab bags
and be made up by the next song
whatever the next song is.
Drive when you need to,
but walk when you can;
lay down, lay with her leaning toward night.
Love moments the way moments move."
