Do you have any FCs you’d love to see for particular zones? I’m a sucker for people with gifs that match their zones vibes
bearing in mind that zone 1 is much more cyberpunk-esque and generally the workers there are more business attire or business casual i can say:

i think, from memory, they all have an aesthetic or vibe that can easily mesh into the zone 1 mood.
for zone 2, which is a bit more chaotic & has a heavier mad max vibe to it:

these people, in my head, 100% have a vibe of i can survive anything and i will take you out if i need to, no questions.
of course, this is pulling from memory of what i can recall their faces in! it isn’t to say that some from one category wouldn’t fit beautifully into the other and vice versa!

In your Exodus page, it says: "However, with each expedition brave Travelers from CHQS took since initial Travel began in 1974, came with it a consequence to Zone Zero’s timeline." Why was Zone Zero so sensitive to these changes, while the other zones are more or less intact? Is it something about Zone Zero in particular, or were people just travelling there more than to the other zones?
zone 0, or our current timeline as it is right now, with me responding to you, was affected so much by these changes because they were the zone in which all of the time traveling experimentation was done. so much destabilization occurred because of the reckless means of testing boundaries, that by the time the other zones (which are alternate timelines, really) were found, zone 0 had began to collapse. thus, by our plot's standards, zone 0 is barren, unlivable, and basically in nothing but ruin. time travel as a whole is a wildly unstable concept, and with all of the testing and stress put on zone 0, it became a wasteland.

Can someone who was once a Hiker become a Traveler?
absolutely. we have a hiker muse presently working as human resources for CHQ, thus it's 100% possible for a muse to become a traveler if they're a hiker. being a hiker doesn't mean that they're brand spanking new to the zones (though it could), as some hikers have been apart of their respective zone from a young age. being a hiker simply means that the muse was originally from the destroyed zone 0 and supplanted into one of the other zones by CHQs services at some point.

when it says that zone 3 is unavailable for travel, does that mean *no* charas from zone 3 can be applied for (not even a traveller)?
hello there anon! zone 3 is the latest zone to be discovered and by that virtue, the most unstable. currently, only the most seasoned travelers would be allowed to visit. if you are interested, we are SUPER interested in filling the director role for zone three — they are key to putting this zone on the convergence map and possibly making it open for future muses through plots!

When submitting your application, please make sure to use the red bin. The blue bin is for recycling only. Any applications submitted in the blue bin will be destroyed twice over, and disposed of in Zone Three by way of compost.

ok ok hear me out! a receptionist for a zone she doesn't live in, a costumer that keeps travelers safe by helping them blend in (or sabotages them, but setting them up for failure!), a record keeper that 'loses' things, or maybe someone deep in marketing, responsible for keeping employees from asking questions and locals in zones from batting an eyelash at the reception areas.
