Toast! How was the first time of each ro? with who, was it serious?

I feel like I should put this under a read more but these are very sfw lol.

Mace's first time was at prom with his date but he'd gotten too much into the flask his buddies brought and remembers very little. His sober first time was real good tho!

Alice's first was a random fling, but it was alright. As much as people around her hyped it up, it was disappointing. Wasn't until she found her groove that it got good.

Judge was in a semi-serious relationship throughout high school, so his first time was with what's-her-name. Was alright, nothing to write home about. Could say he was underwhelmed.

Sadie's first time was with her ex, and she felt very pressured to do it, so no good memories there. Now that she sets boundaries, she might enjoy a roll in the hay, who knows.

Toast, do the ro's have a morning routine? and would it change with mc?

Mace is a simple man: alarm, snooze, realization that times-a-wasting, wash face to wake up, breakfast, teeth, chores. Wouldn't change a bit except he'd probably squeeze in some snuggles instead of snoozing his alarm, and be sullen about getting up instead of staying there. Double the breakfast since MC deserves to have breakfast in bed.

Alice almost never gets up for her first alarm, not until she hears Soledad starting her day. That's when she gets up, gets dressed (evening showers supporter), and heads downstairs to help her grandma make breakfast for the whole family. After that it's teeth, hair, makeup, chores. The sheep take up most of her morning because she can't help cuddling. Wouldn't change much with MC, except she'd pull them along through her morning lol

Judge has a very rigid morning routine. Old habits die hard, so he's not going to change. Up at first alarm, meticulous making of the bed, go for a jog. Come home, shower, breakfast is one cup of coffee and whatever type of eggs he feels like making. Check the news. Wash teeth, get dressed, go get the day.

Sadie is an early bird and she loves her morning routine, which is mostly her waking up, doing some simple stretches, and then starting her skincare routine. Breakfast smoothie/bowl, read news while listening to music, go over some emails while she's at it. Finish skincare routine and get ready for work. Simple joys. She'd definitely help MC join her skincare meticulousness, and it'd be a nice, slow morning together.

How would the important characters (not just the ROs, I wanna know about old man G, too!) react/behave if the MC came with a young child in tow? Not necessarily from the Ex storyline, could even just be a kid they've sorta adopted, but I'm curious.

Charles would be the type of old man who warms up slowly, like, starts off with harrumphs when given flower crowns or asked to color something. But catch him teaching the young'un the tricks of the trade that he learned as a wee lad, and you know the grumpy old fella would protect that kid with his very life. (Might let them name a calf before the MC, even)

Mace would be over the moon because it's been a long time since he got to teach the younger generation about his way of life. You know, hard work and all that, but mostly his zest for life and love for the animals in their care, how nature works. Plus he'd have a reason to pull out ye olde trampoline. Not something a grown man can do for himself you know?

Alice doesn't exactly know how to act around kids, but she'd try her best once she and MC got closer. Might need to be smacked in the arm when she curses (imagine the "ah shit - wait no, sorry, fuck - I - argh" scenario) but she wants to be the cool kinda aunt for MCs kid. Every time she meets them, they're gonna learn something new and exciting about the town, she'll make sure of that. Might even come up with a little drink for them.

Kinda just wanna say Judge wouldn't really react, just acknowledge the child and move on, but that's no fun. His line of work doesn't really mesh well with the youngest generation, but at least he'd make sure the entire little family is safe, in his own way. Imagine the kid wanting to hear the wee woo and see the lights and him just begrudgingly obliging. That's the ultimate firm of respect lol.

Sadie would ask questions. Like does MC need help getting full custody, is the paperwork airtight, check for loopholes - she's just nice like that because she does NOT know how to deal with kids unless they're from her family tree. Unless the kid was good at debating, then she'd be there all day holding court with the little genius. She'd do her darndest to teach everything she knows too, the kid's gonna be a law whiz before 10.

BONUS!

Soledad would be the kids grandma no doubt. Watch her wobble over with her cane all the way to the ranch just to deliver a homemade nicuatole as a 'welcome to the valley' present. Will babysit in a heartbeat, and oh boy that child would learn so much from her, all from sheep shearing to cooking. I kinda wanna see it.

Anyway I LIVE. Walked straight up to death and pinched its ear like my old nana used to when I ate her flowers. I was a dumb kid.

Anyway I'm good. Spent some time at the hospital, home, hospital, home, but we came back swinging. Obv I've fallen behind on my writing but I'm right back home and ready to slam out some more words (while chilling, ok, if my doctor is reading this. I'm chill.)

I'll try getting to some asks between my bouts of story progression, depending on inspiration! I'm bursting with ideas though. All think time and no write time makes Toast a very soggy bread.

Toast! What would the ro's do if they are getting dressed for work but in the mirror they see a huge hickey, very tender when they touch it on their neck? mc got a little wild last night, I mostly asking this for Judge I can't stop laughing imagining his expression.

I'll start with the fave since, well, fan favorites skip the queue lol

Judge would just grimace at it. I mean, he could hide it, sure, but then again, he really doesn't care all that much. So inadvertently he's flaunting it at the precinct, giving very deadpan affirmatives to every jab about him having a wild night. The rumor mill would churn pretty fast, and the news of the entire thing would probably end up back to MC before the day's end.

Now Mace would probably not get to work on time if that happened because he's got a vivid imagination, and a fresh memory like that just crashes back. It'd have him hot and bothered every time he caught sight of it, but that's his own fault for not making any effort to not see it. Would blush something fierce when people pointed it out.

Alice however would just straight up wear it with pride because she's definitely left some on MC too. It's like a little mark of love that she unconsciously keeps touching and smiling at because honestly, she loves that kinda territorial thing, although it does make her admirers envious as hell, which makes her show it off even more.

And Sadie's already rifling through her drawer of turtlenecks because NOPE, too much scrutiny from strangers, that's a private matter, the courtroom is not a place to air your nightly shenanigans. She'll enjoy the sight and feel of it in private, a little secret she keeps for herself, and that does make her heart warm, somehow.

Judge would give MC the Side Eye, calculating blood alcohol levels in his head probably. I mean, he knows the feeling, so he wouldn't really show much of an reaction besides maybe a little huff and a "good for you" before returning to his brooding, with perhaps a teeny tiny smile, for a fraction of a second.

Mc at the hospital: the doctor said I had internal bleeding but thats good right? That's where the blood is supposed to be. *Camera turns to judge just facepalming

Judge's just staring into the camera like he's on the office, looking so exasperated and radiating a "you see what I subject myself to" vibe. Would deadpan ask the doc if MC is circulating enough blood for their brain to function normally or if it's permanent.

First things first, I’m glad to hear that your surgery went well and I hope you have a swift recovery!

But now I’m curious to know how the ROs would react to an MC waking up after surgery asking where their glasses, that they definitely don’t wear, are at.

Mace would be right there looking for the glasses too before realizing that MC doesn't even wear them. And then start doubting himself on that. Maybe they do wear glasses? Might even call their friends to ask, juuuuust in case.

Alice would pluck her sunnies and give them to MC just to make them feel better, but you best believe they aren't going to live it down lol, she's gonna ask them if they found their glasses for at least a few weeks, and with he cheekiest grin.

Judge wouldn't entertain it and just remind MC that they do, in fact, not wear glasses, unless they've been bumbling around the valley without them which is highly irresponsible. Might double check with the nurses. Shh.

Sadie wouldn't even know what to do but ask if the MC wears glasses because woah, she didn't know. Cue embarrassment when she realizes it's anesthesia-talk and she was just about to go snooping for no reason hehe
