So I’m rewatching the Harry Potter movies, specifically Prisoner of Azkaban, and McGonnagal keeps talking about how Sirius betrayed Lily and James. Do you really expect me believe that McGonnagal actually buys this shit? She really believes that the 12 year old boy who asked her all those hypothetical questions about being an animagus would betray his brother? The 17 year old who asked her to the Yule ball and then stuck by it would actually sign his friends’ death warrant? She practically raised Sirius, never for a second would she believe that Sirius is in fact a murderer.
