He paused when he heard the green house door open, he turned around to see who it was, pausing when he saw two people standing in the doorway. He immediately turned back around, watering the mandrakes again.

*the closer you get the stronger the urge to follow becomes, like some kind of hypnosis. After a short while you come across the source; an old well that had lost its bucket a long time ago. Perched on the wall of the well is a girl about your age who is very clearly a demon. If her fins, tail, translucent aqua scales, gold-decorated horns and bright yellow eyes didn't give her away then her scent certainly did. She was singing a lively and somewhat mischievous sounding ballad of sailors and a rivers queen while brushing her hair. She does not seem to have noticed that she has caught anyones attention*
