[ ✮ ] ——  BRICK CRACKS UPON IMPACT.  metallic fist briefly buried within the crater of force before a sharp jab is given to barnes’ chest, forcing him back before the shine of a gun is revealed.  there’s a brief snarl from bared teeth, the breath almost knocked out of him before the same metallic palm moves to the barrel of the gun.  crushed with a simple flex of his fingers. with a sharp pull forward, using momentum and the bend of his opponents arm, they’re clocked in the head with the butt of the gun. the force enough to have them tumbling to the ground.  glacier blues briefly survey the scattered unconscious bodies that trailed behind him before continuing on his way.  annoyance simmering upon his shoulders as he raises a hand to his ear.  contacting his spider acquaintance who was somewhere on a separate floor.

[ ✮ ] ——  BREATH IS NOTICEABLY INHALED AND EXHALED WITH THE RISE AND FALL OF SHOULDERS.  palm firmly grasps upon the handle of his pistol. patience was running  thin  and it was beginning to show, brows casting a harsh shadow across the line of his gaze.  with another response of the other, the barrel is raised.  stepping forward until the cool metal presses against the side of their head in warning.  glacier blues blazing and sharp as the hammer is pulled back with a prominent  click.  time was not on either of their sides.

[ ✮ ] ——  THERE’S A STORM BREWING BEHIND GLACIER BLUES.  they’re surrounded.  and with one wrong move -- the fire of battle is begun with the shot of a gun by the opposing side.  with a shift of his posture and raising his left arm, the bullet is deflected with bared teeth. as are several more as barnes continues to move forward, heading to disarm the attacker of it’s weapon with a swift and harsh movement.  the opponent is then kicked back, being rendered immobile as they hit the surface of the wall with a crack of concrete.     

 he moves from opponent to opponent as they charge head first towards him.  practically wrecking through each figure that presented itself along side anita.  while lives are not being necessarily taken -- they’ll certainly be sore and bruised in the morning with one hell of a headache when they wake up.  another is disarmed and tossed into far off enemy before barnes strides his way to an offhanded motorbike. the keys still in the ignition.  with a roar of an engine and a screech of rubber against asphalt, he steers up with haste to anita’s side.

[ ✮ ] ——  SHE’S A THREAD CONSTANTLY SLIPPING THROUGH HIS FINGERS.  the snow is harsh with the diagonal winds of the storm.  goggles and mask shield from the icy burn of the cold.  raising his scope again, he can see her figure in the far distance darting between the trees. despite the howling winds, two more shots are taken out of frustration.  he already knows they will miss.  quietly he hisses beneath the mask, sniper rifle before discarded before he slides down the snowy drop in front of him.      

he stalks through the snow with determined purpose.  keeping an estimate on how far she might be ahead -- or hiding within the trees.  his gaze is continuously scanning, searching, hunting.  he will not let her get away this time, not again.  whether he knows directly or not -- there were consequences on the horizon for him if he were to fail.  his programming driving him forward like an unstoppable force as his pistol is now drawn.  armed and at the ready.  she cannot run forever.   / @sovietsylph​​ liked for an unhinged starter !

[ ✮ ] ——  GLASS CUTS THROUGH SKIN, LEAVING LINES OF RED.  jaw clenched and eyes distant as they bore through the wall in front of the sink.  staring through the plain backwash of his kitchen and into something else entirely.  he doesn’t even notice the broken glass or the damage upon his hand until his gaze curves downwards.  drops of crimson plinking into the metal sink.  he breathes out a hiss, brows furrowing.

  ❛  shit -- ❜  he curses to himself under his breath, teeth baring as the faucet is harshly switched on.  bloodied palm being placed under the cool running water for a moment.  a deep breath is taken, the tv drone still linger in the background but it barely reaches him.  grabbing one of the dish cloths nearby, he presses the fabric to his palm.  off white linen staining with red.  there’s a voice he recognizes to his right that speaks in a question but the words don’t process. mind already turning faintly hazy as his heart beats in his ears.

  ❛  don’t worry about it --  ❜   he responds, voice gruff almost slurred as words drift off with a deep set frown as ice blues keep to the floor.  quietly waiting to will himself to move clearly to the bathroom when he can to properly clean the fresh cuts upon his skin.  /  @goodsouldier​  liked for an unhinged starter !

[ ✮ ] ——  ICE BLUES ARE FOCUSED AND FURY WROUGHT.  blade twirls with a quiet flair as his right hand pulls it from its sheath.  being intercepted was not ideal, especially after the target was already dealt with.  there can be no witnesses.  the instructions were clear and firmly spoken.  eyes are bright against the black painted camouflage across his eyes, mask covering his face from the bridge of his nose down.  he had to report back, return to whence he came -- but this figure was making it  difficult  for him to do so.

he does not speak, a standoff occurring between the two.  the shine of his blade glinting in the low light of the distant street lamp.  gaze narrows, metal fingers twitching and curling in anticipation.  a howling breeze moves through the space, dark locks moving with the breath of air as thunder then rolls over head.  this was just another task to deal with.  and he would complete it.  no matter the cost.   / @druisg​  liked for an unhinged starter !

[ ✮ ] ——  ELBOW COLLIDES WITH JAW,  head turns with the motion with a spray of crimson.  the next attack is blocked with metallic digits.  artificial hand enveloping the attacker’s fist.  a huff of breath is taken as head now slowly turns to meet the other’s features.  confidence devolving into fear.  glacier blues  burning.  blood stained teeth are bared before a swift twist is made to the caught fist, a quiet yelp echoing across the empty space that slowly fills with unconscious bodies of enemies.  

caught arm is tucked forward harshly, using the momentum to his advantage, barnes turns on his heel. tossing the opponent with ease across the room.  eyes scan as a line of crimson drips from the corner of his mouth.  a spit is then given to the floor, red splattering to the grey concrete below as he hears another opponent fall with the ping of a shield.  shoulders heave with heavy breath, the taste of iron heavy in his mouth.

[ ✮ ] ——  METAL AND FLESH KNUCKLES COLLIDES WITH LEATHER FILLED SAND.  today was not a day to run into barnes.  caution is needed.  chain strains with each thrown punch, the pace picking up quicker and harsher.  beats of sweat forming at his brow, the fabric of his shirt at front of his chest and line of his shoulders already drenched.  then, with a reel back of curled metallic digits, a light yell rips through him.  sand bursting as seams are ripped, the punching bag being ripped off its hinges. the mass flying across the room before it slides to a halted stop.

memories were heavy today.  haunting and  loud  in his mind.  heavy breaths echo, chest straining to keep up.  even for someone jacked up on serum -- he had pushed himself too far. with dragging steps he moves to the bench on the far side of the room. head hanging low as he slumps down.  forearms leaning heavy on his knees.  knuckles red and overworked.  the stress practically visible on him as he sits and mulls in silence.   /  @soulstcne​  liked for  an unhinged starter !
