marisol was raised in new york city, the place where her parents had immigrated to when they were younger. hard and almost unachievable expectations were set for their oldest girl, so from the start she was forced towards excellence. as marisol grew older and proved to her parents that she was smart enough that she was able to get into any college that she wanted they eased up on her. as the rules were less strict, she also began to let loose more. however when she graduated highschool, she was one of the top students in her class.

tw pregnancy/ fresh into college, it was her first time away from home. college was great for her. she flourished socially, started picking up new hobbies, and even found a part time job at a local coffee shop. halfway throughout her college career she had went to a party that ended up changing her life. while this wasn't her first party it would be the last one that she would attend for while. a couple of weeks after she had started feeling sick and lethargic. marisol didn't think anything of it until she had missed a period. at twenty and almost two years of school left this was the last thing she wanted to deal with.

tw pregnancy and adoption/ once marisol had worked through her own emotions about the situation, she had told her parents and they gave her two options, have the child or give the baby up for adoption. and not wanting to disappoint her parents she gave the baby up, she had an open adoption, hoping to give her baby a better life than marisol could provide as a twenty year old. she always hoped to hear from them, but it's been radio silence since.

marisol kept her head down throughout the rest of college and finished her last two years finally graduating. after graduation she felt almost lost, she was unsure of what to do after coming back home to her parents. she worked in office positions on and off for five years. anytime she left the 9-5 office job the lectures from her parents started and were repeated every time they saw each other.

the pressure from her parents had pushed her to start looking into moving away from home. on her twenty seventh birthday she told her parents that she was moving to chile. while they were sad to see marisol go they were happy that she was going to experience traveling the world and living abroad, just as they had done when they were just a tad younger.

marisol left for chile a month after telling everyone back home. she cried when her closest friends drove her off to the airport and saw her off. when she got settled in her new home, she struggled finding anything that she could do with her degree, so she went back to what she knew from her part time job. finding casablanca blooms and coffee starting as a barista she put in the hours and finally started feeling like she had found her purpose.

after fifteen years of living in chile she fell in love with the city, fell in love with her job. she had gained ownership of the coffee and floral shop that she had started her career at. marisol was never disappointed in her life in the city and calls valparaiso her home.

siblings: like stated in the family bio she has an older brother and a younger sister. child: as stated above she had her child when she was twenty so they would be 22/23. they were given up for adoption so they wouldn't have a strong relationship. as long as the fc is at least half black anyone would be fine! baby daddy: would be around the same age. would have gone to the same univeristy or at least going to the college parties. they could have kept in contact as friends or separated ways after school. open to any fc for this.

leo was born in melbourne australia, but at an early age his family had moved to sydney for better work opportunities for his parents. he was raised an only child and got everything he ever wanted or glanced at. when he was enrolled in school he was quick to make new friends. he was a chatterbox from an early age, entertaining kids his own age and even some adults.

he lived an ordinary life for the most part, getting average grades hanging out with his friends that he had made at an early age, and getting a job as soon as he was legally able to work. he couldn't complain about anything in his life, even though his parents weren't rich he was still receiving all the extras in life.

tw death/ a month before leo's seventeenth birthday he woke up to find out the most tragic news. his mother had died in her sleep. his whole world got flipped on it's head. the last thing he was ever expecting. very quickly things changed and leo watched as his father lost the light behind his eyes. when helping his father get things in order for his mother's service, leo came across pictures of a baby girl but nothing was written to signal who they were. he had a feeling because of what that baby looked like but went to ask his father to be sure. in the craziness of all of this he was told that he had a half sister from his mother. he tried to find her but without any other information about her it was a dead end.

all the extra goodies that he had been getting stopped and money became tighter. his father insisted that leo didn't put any of his own money towards bills and to save it. that wasn't going to stop him from helping out. half of what he earned went towards his savings and the other half went to go towards bills.

slowly but surely, there was a calm that came back into his life and things were starting to get easier again. after graduating he was unsure of what he wanted to do with his life. he thought about college and ended up going for a year before deciding that it wasn't for him. he knew that his dad would support him regardless of what he done he just wanted to make him proud.

looking at his savings he figured to make a big life change and started a group text between his friends asking for advice. 'where should i move?' several ideas flew around but nothing called out to him until someone told him about valparaíso. one of his friends had family that already lived out in chile and they agreed to help him get adjusted once he got in the city.

half sister: this would be someone roughly ten years older than leo, he's never met her and doesn't have much information about her other than they're related through their mom. friends from home: a handful of friends either coming from australia that were around when leo was going through all of his big life changes internet friends: either people he's met on online communities that gave him good advice and challenged his creativity. roommates: preferably 1-2 people in his age range, no other requirements!

background.

londyn was born in louisiana to wealthy parents. growing up she never realized how lucky she was to have the resources that were offered and given to her since the start. she was shy around new people in her life, but once she knew that you could be trusted she started no one could get her to stop talking.

if there was something that londyn even showed the smallest interest in, her parents made sure that she got the best for whatever activity. most didn't stick for longer than a couple of months. one of the few that she really did enjoy was drawing. there were a few acting classes, singing lessons, and personal trainers thrown in there. the sky was the limit for her.

in high school londyn was popular because she had all the connections, being head cheerleader didn't hurt that either. plus her parents made sure that her grades were great and that followed her through to college where her parents donated a large sum of money to the college of her choice and a couple weeks later an acceptance letter was in the mail.

she went into college majoring in business, knowing that it would be the best choice in the long run even though that wasn't her passion. it never stopped her from working on what she loved, art. several exes and flings later, she managed to graduated college. her parents secured the degree for her and londyn knew that her grades should have stopped that from happening but went with the flow.

after graduation her father started to push her into looking for a job. nothing felt right to her and she jumped from job to job looking for something that would make her happy. she wished that selling her art would make her dad happy but he worked for their fortune that they had and the same was wanted from her.

londyn looked into something that could satisfy her creativity, she found tattooing might be an option. this time her parents couldn't help her get this job, she actually had to apply her self and work hard to achieve this if she wanted it. she went to a couple of different shops locally and gave them a portfolio of her drawings.

a shop accepted her work and took her in as an apprentice in her hometown. she worked hard starting on fake skin and working her way up to tattooing on people. finally, she was so proud to say that this was one thing that she finally accomplished on her own. money from the job wasn't the best, but her parents were still proud of their only child for getting a spot at her dream so they still supported her financially.

the excitment of getting the job wore off quickly and she had a new plan. she told everyone that she was moving to texas for a fresh start. rinse and repeat, every couple of months she moved to a different state before getting bored. louisiana, texas, new york, florida. then she wanted to accomplish more. next destination overseas, she moved to the uk and was satisfied there for the longest she's stayed since leaving home, even if it was only a year.

now she's packed her bags and found her new home in valparaíso.

ex-partner: they could have broke up because she decided to start moving around, possible that they followed and surprised her in chile. they broke up on good terms, so plenty to work with! best friend: basically like a sister to her, could either be a short or long friendship since they mesh so well it's like they've known each other their whole lives.
