Katara nodded, wishing she could give him more. To somehow take away those ugly memories in such a hauntingly beautiful cave. Rather than wiping away the tears that were beginning to bubble over, she found herself throwing her arms around Aang, so grateful that he was alive after he felt the need to thank her. “I don’t know what I would have done if the spirit water hadn’t worked,” she confessed before finally pulling away. She shouldn’t overwhelm him.
“Oh all this? We captured a Fire Nation ship so we could use it as our disguise to get around. Sokka’s idea of course,” she smiled, proud of her brother’s genius.

“Oh great! ” Carol declared before giving a little nod to the bear like they were two clients, signaling to each other so they weren’t rude in a clinic office. “Because I have to take you up on that! I have a massive addiction to juice berry things that only come in two different colors. If you could cure me of that, that would be great. I can never find anywhere other than Earth that does them right.”

“ ‘s not, kiddo! ” his tone is light and, despite the pain seeping in his thigh at the injury, he still manages a light smile. oh spirits, he’s getting old for this. “ ‘s fine, korra! really! i’ve dealt with worse. i ever tell you about those cannibals? ”

if she’s honest with herself, she doesn’t think it’s dumb. it makes sense that it’s adora. it’s always been adora. if not adora, it wouldn’t be anyone else, would it? but adora leaves. adora leaves again and again, always choosing everyone else over her. adora left the life they knew, adora left her. adora made her choice.
“ trying? us? ” there’s an incredulous tone in her voice, brow raising. “ you’ve never once tried with me, adora! you leave and that’s all you do, and now because of some stupid sign you think it’s worth trying?! ”
“Catra, I’ve always tried for you!” Adora couldn’t think of a single person who she had ever made as much effort as she did for Catra. Shadow Weaver may had been second once upon a time and now Etheria had taken that spot yet Catra always seemed to come first in her thoughts. “Who lied when you would mess with people’s stuff? Who told Shadow Weaver you were at practice when you would ditch? Who would never be able to make any real...” blows against you. Adora pressed her lips hard together before letting out this last point.
They were still on opposite sides of the war and Catra didn’t need to know that Adora had problems fighting Catra in battle. It would only harm her in the end... “I tried, Catra! I can’t help that you think I’m not worth following to the Rebellion or even thinking these marks are worth anything in your eyes!” Those words probably hurt Adora more than they did for Catra and Adora had to look away.

It is okay to take a break from RP
So many times in 2020 I saw people apologising for not replying fast enough, for not being online or for simply not feeling drafts at the time. While 2020 was quite frankly a mess of a year, the sentiment applies to any time, any year and most importantly to anyone. You and everyone else are allowed to take breaks, to step back and recharge if you feel you need to. It is perfectly normal to have a need to do so now and again and might even be healthy to do so in some cases.
There is no point in damaging your mental state by allowing yourself to stress about replying to your partners, I promise you that the majority will understand and would rather you take care of yourself than try to muddle through, anyone that complains about it is likely not a good friend.
You come first, not your threads, always.

Adora had found it weird at first but honestly now that she was kind of used to it, she found it actually pretty nice. Who knew physical contact could be comforting?
