"You've told me so much already -- and managed to have a little explosive...burst, but hey, that's a step!" Elena beamed and patted Andromeda's shoulder. She acted so young at times that explaining this to her reminded Elena of Jeremy's confused moments with Anna, even Bonnie, that had them both awake to all hours of the morning. Elena did not mind doing this for Andromeda; she was her partner in arms. Her breathern.

"This is your first time." Elena reminded. "It isn't supposed to be simple or easy. I think you should talk to him. I know for a fact he feels the same exact way you do. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain."

“Andromeda!” Elena took her by both shoulders and shook the tiny girl very gently. “Slow down, dooooown. It’s not what we’ve done that define us but what we do now. Dean can pick and choose who he wants to be with but he is showing you his affections.You.”

“Love cannot be defined, it is something you feel. Tell me, do you feel that you are in love with Dean? Do you always want to be around him? Can you forgive any mistakes he is ashamed him? Tell me how you feel from your heart, and him. He should know. I’ll be here for you — I swear.”

"I saw an ominous shadow in this area." Elena replied with her arms crossed and stared at the fallen material on the ground with a quirked brow. Well, that was certainly nice. Not. "Well, I was tracking them and I happened upon you. It is rather coincidental to say the least - and relax, I wasn't trying to tell you what to do. I merely...thinking out loud; surprised you left the human alive."

Well, this was certainly getting off to a good start...

Elena sidestepped away from a tree and trotted over to the blonde vampire with an iron expression. “You let them go.” Elena said flatly. It wasn’t a question. It was a statement of surprise. “I thought I was going to have to stop you, but I didn’t need to. Are you..” she surveyed Rebekah’s canines and unearthed a piece of cloth in her pocket that held her initials, and tossed it to her.

“Nevermind. Here, use this.”

They’d been at odds before, but they did not have to be if it came to really. In all actuality, Elena wanted to find out where Rebekah’s mind was. If Rebekah was centered, or off kilter…

Elena watched Dean with an empathetic expression and pulled out a scarf from her pocket and gingerly started to wipe away dried blood. "I wish I had some antiseptic... something." she sighed. "I'm sorry for this I only want to make sure you'll make it. This won't take too long; meanwhile, how is it in that head of yours? Drowning in your thoughts?" she tried to be humorous but even her smile was fading. When the angel was satisfied with the result, she plopped down next to Dean and sighed.

"Just a few more seconds." Elena reassured, more for him or herself was not sure of. The bodies, God, there were so... so many...

She looked horrified for a split second and turned her attention back to Dean.

"When was the last time you s-saw Sam?"

"I feel pretty weak to be honest." Elena sighed and rested her chin on Blair's shoulder; absorbed the tenseness of her squared shoulders. "I could use a partner. Up for traveling for a few days? I can keep an eye on you too. If you need me."

Hugging her friend back, Blair let out a little sigh.  ”I’m okay.”  Little rattled, but she wasn’t actually going to admit that.  ”Really?  You’re okay now though, right?”
