Needless to say he was surprised at the hug, but he still attempted to return the gesture with one paw. Seeing it was nearly as big as she was given his current size the demon princess was practically enveloped in the curl of his claws.

"You're welcome then," he responded with a grin.

🎁 + Beast drops a one-eyed cat creature in Charlie's lap. It seems like a stray, and quite possibly feral. He caught it himself. (xshapes-and-shadowsx)

At first Charlie is startled but then she smiles.

“Kitty!”

Very slowly she lets it sniff her outstretched finger before gently rubbing the cat’s ears. It was purring in no time.

“I think I’ll name you Misfit.”

"Saw it scratching at the trash cans outside and figured you like pets," said the shadow demon. "It bites, but I guess it likes you enough."
