The other day I got an ad for one of those couple apps, it looked really cute and I wanted to try it so I sent the ad to him. I thought he wouldn't think much of it, or he'd think it was silly and wouldn't want to do it.

I asked him later if he'd seen the ad I sent and he got kinda excited and smiled and showed me his phone and he had already downloaded it

I know it might not sound like a big deal but it made me so so happy I was over the moon ♡

Just received the greatest Christmas gift ever.

So context: when I was a kid I had this littlest pet shop dog that I absolutely adored, like, played with it all the time, career it around with me, loved just looking at it kinda toy. Somehow when I was about 4-6 I lost it. I searched my house for years until we moved and I finally accepted that he was gone forever :( it had been so long that up until recently I had forgotten what he actually looked like.

Flash forward to present time: I got a boyfriend about 3 months ago :D a lot has gone down since then and I ended up moving out of my abusive parents house and living with him (yea I know moving in so soon and all but it was kinda an emergency). We both like video games, and had been talking about old games from our childhood, which made me remember the old LPS Wii game. I ordered it off eBay and we play it and I recognize the first dog you play as. It’s my old favorite LPS!!!!! I’m stoked so I gush to my boyfriend about this dog and how much I missed it.

Ok so, Christmas Eve comes up right? We decide to open stockings on Christmas Eve because that’s a tradition in my family that I want to keep up. We’re going back and forth pulling out presents, and honestly I’m so excited about what I got him that I’m not even thinking about what he got me.

It gets to my turn and I pull something in a plastic baggie.

I sad in silence for a couple seconds then just started crying because it’s the most thoughtful gift I have ever been given.

TLDR; boyfriend got me the toy dog I lost when I was 5 for Christmas and it made me cry because I was so happy about it
