Why I think Haganezuka was Urokodaki's swordsmith:

They seem to be on friendly terms and Urokodaki already knew his habit of ignoring people and not really hearing them when he goes off about his swords. Who's to say he didn't request Haganezuka for Tanjiro himself?

And also:

Remember that time Urokodaki threatened to break Tanjiro's bones if he broke his sword?

Yeah, the two of them probably got along.

The thought of that kind of dynamic during Urokodaki's days as a Demon Slayer seriously cracks me up xD

Haganezuka honestly might not be used to people breaking his swords if he's been forging for full-blown Water Hashiras like Urokodaki and Giyu (who I think has a good chance of being his assigned swordsman, too). After seeing so many blue blades, he might've liked to see a red one for a change (but got pitch black R.I.P.)

It's also cool to imagine that Haganezuka has the kind of skill to be entrusted with a Hashira's sword, you know. I'd like to believe that he learned a lot from being raised by Tecchin, who forged complicated-ass swords including Shinobu's poison-mixing scabbard and Mitsuri's flexible blade. Tecchin is also harsh about his skill like one of those typical master-apprentice criticisms.

Light Novel Excerpts from "The Courtship of Hotaru Haganezuka" (Spoiler warning)

Official English version released on June 27, 2023 Just sharing some highlights and canonical tidbits from Chapter 2 for romantic Haganezuka fans. Don't go too wild with it.

I won't go into detail, but he handles that stinker very well and rejects her on the spot. It's implied that he marries in the future, but definitely not to this woman.

Anyway, I encourage everyone to read the light novel! It's not a shallow fanservice in the slightest. There are even meaningful moments of character in this chapter with Haganezuka, but overall the novel is wonderful collection of tales full of laughs and meaningful expansions to the Hashira backstories.

funniest part about demon slayer is that all the demon slayers have like. swords and sword-like weapons that are made from like the finest materials by the most expert weaponmakers, except for one dude who just straight up has a shotgun

Betta fish Douma. Tbh when I first saw him in the manga I thought he was one. His hair looked like fins especially with the blood on the lower part of his hair. I also thought he was related to Rengoku because of the hair colour.

anyway. demon kyojuro (w/ demon senjuro) definitely killed their dad and proceeded to use their now “abandoned” haunted ass estate to shelter children who have run from abusive households or otherwise have nowhere else to go. slayer hakuji is the spring hashira, with aspects focusing on the season’s rapid changing and the land rending itself in twain to be born again.

how do you think douma reuniting with his parents in hell go down?

i always imagine douma's the type of person that just doesn't get angry. that part of him was snuffed out early in his life like everything else: that anger as a form of self-love, a part of him that recognized he deserved better than what he got.

no matter how much someone had hurt or ruined him he just wouldn't get angry, and that extended to his parents. so you can imagine him saying all that in the same tone someone would say the sky is blue. there was no resentment there at all.

Muzan's multiple hearts and brains are so amusing when you imagine he bumps into like a wall or something and he hit one of his poorly placed organs or in a fight someone tried to go for his stomach and he goes "Nope I left that in my knee I ran out of space"

the thought of muzan shoving his intestines to his legs like a plate of wet spaghetti is killing me. do you think he ever hit his funny bone and ended up with a massive vertigo bc he forgot he put his brain in there
