I know it's been long overdue (10 years) but I'm wondering if the choice to have Ren finally confess isn't because of the new challenges they are about to embark.

Actually, I'm curious how the story will progress now that confessions have been made, since there's several possibilities the story can go. For example:

• It seems Ren's popularity has finally reached the potential to break into American entertainment. This may mean more traveling or worst case scenario, he'd actually move over there/get a home for long periods of stay.

• Including with Ren, America has been mentioned 3 times: with Sho, Moka-san, & now Ren. What does this mean for Kyoko (as her dream is to be the best actress in Japan)?

• Cedric Bennet? Ren's immediate jealousy over him & the admittedly "princely" charm may spell some lover's quarrel.

• Fuwa Sho! Granted, he's always been an obstacle but Kyoko's declaration that she's only "using Ren" may come back to bite her in the ass.

• The lies: both Ren and Kyoko are hiding a bunch of stuff between each other & now that they've confessed, these lies weigh a bit more than before...

• And finally, Kyoko's new role. Yashiro pointed out that this new role will involve a character that has a rival in love towards the male lead. Meaning, she has to portray being in love & fighting with another girl over his affections.

°On that note, the male lead, Koga, seems smitten with Kyoko. Albeit, when he learns Kyoko's connection to Ren, he seems turned off, but he doesn't stop being friendly with her. From the get-go, he was excited about Kyoko's audition because he's followed her previous work & knows that she can create new characters; he even stated that he was excited about the Momoji she'd be able to create. Now that they'll have to fall in love for the show, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually ends up falling for Kyoko, resulting in him being Ren's (& Sho's) new rival.

If any of these storylines are valid, I'm excited for the new chapters! But first things first, how will Kyoko respond?

Skip Beat Thoughts after reading Chapter 281 *SPOILERS*

Now that I have finally calmed down, NO..I..AM..STILL..NOT..CALM..

Okay, after agdhdjfkoffoodpx attempts, I finally found my composure but don't be deceived because a part of me is still fangirling, a.k.a squealing and doing a crazy dance, although not visually. But this will do, I have mustered my acting skills (Jk. Please stop, self.) and will continue with a straight face! (Facepalm. I hate how much I worship Kyoko sometimes.)

1. Kyoko is gradually growing in her acting career and I am so happy to watch her grow. Since I have been reading her story when I was still in highschool, I can't help but feel a little proud that we grew up together. It's just sad because I am 24 now and she's still 17. Gawd. I feel so OLD. Whenever I think about Kyoko's personality I oath to feel like she'd be annoying and crazy but lo and behold, I AM crazy about her. It hurts my heart to see that Kyoko seems to be so conflicted when she finally admitted to herself that she is in love with Ren. Take courage girl. It is okay to be scared but you'll never be happy if you will not allow yourself to have the possibility of being hurt all over again. (Boo! Preach much?) Enough of that. Why isn't anybody talking about that ninja role Kyoko will take a part of? So COOL. A NINJA!! The moves are amaaaazing! Hell yeaaaah~

2. Ren is so frigging handsome! I am imaging how Kuon looks like and deeeeeeym, he really is a fairy prince! I still don't understand the part he played on the death of that someone tho. Although Ren acts like he's very level headed and mature, it cracks me up that he is basically just a mushy potato craving for Kyoko's attention. He practically begged her to kiss him as Kuon. And deym, why is he so jealous of himself? He is so funny. Hahahahaha!

3. Shoutarou's character development is fascinating! I know I hated Shotarou ever since I was young because of what she did to Kyoko but we can now slowly see his perspective especially to her. Although that does not justify the things he did, I can honestly say I will forgive him if he sincerely apologized to Kyoko for the things he did. It is obvious that he still cares for her greatly to the point of immaturity and it irks me that no matter what happened, I feel like Kyoko will always have a special place for him.

4. Yashiro is so cuuuuuuute!!

5. I hate Kyoko's mom. I am sorry but her backstory doesn't justify the reasons why she got to be so mean with Kyoko. Hmp. Sigh. It sucks, but I kinda get the point. We can't get to choose our parents but we have the capacity to choose what to do with the pain we acquired from them. I did realize that too.

So, yeah. That's it for now. Skip Beat's characters are very complex and there are so many themes revolving around it. More please. I can't wait for the future developments. Huzzah!
