far too old to care about fandom opinions i am an adult with a *sees a take* hm. never mind actually. i am in fact so blessed to have a huge brain and correct inconsequential opinions on fictional characters. there but for the grace of god go i
I've seen this before, but it's been years and it just came across my Twitter in its dying days. The words are from a favorite author of mine, Maggie Stiefvater, and they are the words I most need to hear when it comes to dealing with chronic pain and illness. I didn't need this the first time I saw it, six years ago. I need it now. Maybe you do, too.
(Late) httyd anniversary screencap study pt. 2 <3 + process video! (I never show mine cuz they’re full of chem equations and jumpscares but this one is ok <3)
A look at some of Lacy's character sheet.
I'm looking forward to being able to package up all of the Season 1 character sheets for sharing later.
Lots of full sheets and the development sketches behind them are available for Patrons now, though!

I actually got a headcanon about Al's parents: As you said, the dad had to have actually love her to risk the social ridicule he would get if they got together. But that's the thing! In the end, he couldn't deal with the consequences of his action (especially the "physical proof" which was his kid(s)) and took it out on the people he thought were responsible for his humiliation. (I.E. "I'm not gonna blame the obvious racists but my own family!" Mentality)
You saw the vision, anon! This man thought he was a rebel but failed to keep everything together from the very beginning, including his sanity.
I read somewhere that his mansion is gothic. So the question arose, why not make his attire more gothic x) Without all the acidic green and red elements.
He's the ancestor of noir spider-man, I bet
Bonus:
Wings x)) not again, but again
It was supposed to be marble, but now I can't tell what it looks like anymore

I had a headcanon that Zestial's wound sites are "overgrowing" with spiderwebs, rather than healing like normal. Whereas Alastor has stitches, like he's a doll, Zestial's is a spiderweb, which for all the centuries he's survived in Hell is practically holding on to his bones. Only his head is intact, because he's a 3-meter tall boogeyman and weapons can't reach it x)) (or maybe it's not intact)
