             — After weeks of avoiding actually studying, Zora decided it was probably in her grades best interest to pick up a lot of the work she’d been slacking off at. She had tried to study in her dorm, but someone next to her was blasting EDM and it wasn’t helping her to concentrate, so she meandered her way to a spot she had once done a lot of studying, but the cold weather among other things had made her chose the library. Planting herself at the last step of the institute Zora got to spreading her books all over, like she usually did, just a bit of chaos to help her focus. She was pretty focused on her textbook when she heard a loud noise come from her right and she spun to look “are you okay?” she asked the person standing above a bunch of stuff on the ground below them.

Thomas often went to the library just to avoid being alone. His experiences in the army made him slightly scared of complete silence. It reminded him too much of what happened before the “incident.” So in all honesty, he liked being around people. It made him feel somehow safer than being in his lonely apartment. Yes, it was quiet in the library, but there were enough people usually around to make him sure he wasn’t alone. He had begun piling some old books on robotics in his arms before going to find a place to sit. He unfortunately stumbled enough to find his books falling quickly towards the floor. He felt one land on his foot. Embarrassment covered his face as he forced a smile when someone spoke. “I think I should be as long as I didn’t break any of my toes.”

Here is my newest baby. Everything you want to know about him is under the cut as usual. Thanks for reading, and I’m always open for plots so feel free to bug me if you want connections with my baby. Also sorry that this will probably be rather rambly. 

that’s ( Thomas Burke ) walking down the street, the ( Twenty-five ) year old, who looks like ( Daniel Radcliffe ). here in apple peak, they are a ( technician @ scare inc ). some say he acts like ( Thomas ) from ( Pocahontas ), since he can be ( sweet ), but also a little bit ( clumsy ).

Thomas was born as the youngest of three. He had two older brothers. The eldest was five years older than him and the other was three years older. Both ended up looking more like their father where Thomas looked like their mother. 

From what little he knows, his father died in the line of duty not too long after he was born. It was devastating for everyone in his family besides himself. Which was only because he had actually never met his father, so he wasn’t sure how to feel.

He was very average in school. He maintained a solid 3.0 GPA for all of his schooling. His best subjects being math and science. He found he had somewhat of a talent for engineering. 

When he graduated high school, he left to join the army. He wanted to be like his father even though he never knew him. It also didn’t help that he felt slightly pressured to go after his brothers enlisted in the Navy. 

He hadn’t been in duty for long before he started seeing stuff that made him sick. He was rather squeamish which made this not the best profession for him to have picked. Everything was rather traumatizing for him due to that.  

Thomas didn’t have to worry about that for long though, as while on a reconnaissance mission, he got gravely injured when he and his team walked right into an ambush. He was the only survivor. 

Luckily for him, he was able to be rescued. Though there was horrible damage to his chest and legs from a grenade explosion. He in fact still has a strong limp in his left leg where he took the brunt of the explosion.

After recovery, he was dismissed with a purple heart. He figured it was for the best since he was beginning to get ptsd from his last mission. He would get nightmares often daily during his recovery.

He was only 19 when he got back to the states, so he decided to go away to college. He went to Apple Peak University to graduate with an engineering degree. It led him to getting a job right in town as a technician.

John was closing up the shop for his lunch hour, deciding to go get some coffee and a burger to tide him over his afternoon appointments. He strolled along the path with a book in his hand until he reached Granny’s Diner and headed in to grab a seat and order up some food. John opened up his book and read through some pages while waiting on his order being delivered to his table. 

Thomas had the day off and decided to treat himself to lunch. It wasn’t something he did very often because he didn’t normally have a day off. He picked Granny’s Diner because it proved to be his favorite place in town. He strolled in and let his eyes scan the restaurant. To his surprise, his gaze landed on a familiar face. With a wide smile, the brunette walked over to his friend. “John? It can’t be you can it?”

“¡Basta!” Emilia yelled at the cash register, whose screen had been blinking rapidly. She had been fighting with the stupid technology for hours and hours, “Don’t tell me you can’t make change, Devil Box!” She grabbed her chancla and whacked it against the register several times, a look of anger and determination taking over her face.

Thomas’ eyes went wide for a moment as he watched the woman’s outburst. He wasn’t used to that sort of reaction. His expression quickly softened though as he looked at how much change he was due. “You know, just keep the change. Consider it a tip for all your help.” He gave her a sweet smile. “It honestly isn’t that big a deal.”
