Metamorphosis series
Shoot 1- metamorphosis - Half painted in silver from the feet up to the waist. The idea is to create an illusion of a metamorphosis stage in human form. The ending of the painting on the waist should look like its peeling off. This can be achieved by using lily’s petal or cardboard and pain them silver, stick them on the body like they are the subjects skin peeling off. And for the upper body the subject is in full glam. The glam on the face is a representation of the beautiful phase of the caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Cut holes in the backdrop like a leg hole, hand hole and head hole to represent the awakening in different body parts and then the final reveal is the whole look showing the full figure, this is all in video (see attached pic for reference). So basically, a diptych of the metamorphosis.
shoot 2- Ascending- in the red backdrop and red gels, watch Chloe Baileys performance and RuPaul drag race Ep: S13E2-19:56 for the movements and the styling.  Glitter Galore- spray got2be glue or the olive oil hair spray all over the body and the splash the glitter on the whole body. Put the glitter mask on and shoot some long exposure where you can’t see the physical form but can see the human figure. Use the plp cloth to make the bokeh effect pop as well as a curtain for some texture. Put glitter on the hair and well and style it as Josephine baker and bring her Witt too. The video movements should be very robotic and sensual at the same time. Use Rihanna’s umbrella video for reference movements. Robotic but sensual at the same time. Use Naomi’s silver shoot but not the technical styling. Make sure the cheekbones are exaggerated to give that robotic look.
shoot3 – Avatar- The idea is to have the subject bold headed and create an outline arrow with diamond pieces from the pink tree. The subject will be wearing a crystal thong to match the glittery effect from the head, and she’ll have to work her body out how to photograph the chesty area without being explicit probably stick some Carnival diamonds on the boobs on top of the nipple covers. And because I will also shoot in double exposure, this will also help to be less explicit. And the double exposure should make the diamonds stand out. The focus for this should be head shots in double exposure.  If possible, wear white contacts for this one to draw more attention to the audience and add more drama and a lot of silver bangos shot in motion/long exposure Lit the subject from the back to create a beautiful silhouette with a bokeh effect without losing details on the subject’s face and to create rays like the sun.
Visuals- stop motion style like done in the early 20’s see this reference and in cooperate it with my style especially the blinking of the lens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFbqWq8BbWA  make it slow and very sensual. Play the caterpillar. If possible, get a few second of the painting process. Should have enough time for these series will be shot in different days but start with the full body silver. Create curtains in white like the shoot I did with Nick or born to love cursed to feel but use white ones and create loads of fabric movements using a fan. If possible, project something that is cohesive with my visual idea on the fabrics.  Use the Nikon digital camera for the videos for it has that effect that I am going for.
dark surreal self-portraits; exploring themes of pain, solitude and vulnerability. Since she suffers from a chronic skin condition, Iness uses her own body as a canvas for artistic expression. She draws on her deeply personal experiences, often reflecting on growing up in a conservative and patriarchal society. The subtle elegance of Rychlik’s compositions contrasts with an underlying aura of brutality. Her conceptual photographs provoke the viewer’s imagination, rather than satisfy it.
These portraits will be exploring themes like Pain, solitude, vulnerability, and isolation. Which I have been doing with my past self portraits without revealing the back story of each shot. Whereas now, I am embracing the art of storytelling. This concept also represents my personal growth as an artist meaning, that I am drifting away from just taking a beautiful image but making it Grande and going the extra mile as well.
The
Start with Digitals and work the way up with the medium format.
The FMP is to have darkroom printed images in A3 and A4 to submit/sell for exhibitions. Self-printed instead of letting another being do it.  This has been hand printed with my hands not the process I usually use in snappy snaps. It adds to the personification.
This board is more of the representation that I am going for metamorphosis. Whereas the other board was representing the actual look, styling, set, lighting and how I envision the idea to look physically i.e., paint and set design.
This board also shows the sense that I am going for in terms of emotions, sensuality, internal conflict, emotion, movement, and anonymity. Without being too serious. Still being able to showcase; sexy, playfulness, hypnotic, elegance, playfulness. Very stylishly shot. Still connect with the viewer though.
Church girl acting loose: Mainly growing up in a place where expressing your femininity is a taboo bow, I am taking ownership of it effortless without being weary of society’s rules and the feminist society.
I understand that sensually play is and act. You can exaggerate it and take it to the top like Guy Bourdin did minus the male gaze or perspective.

Rough draft
“I’m interested in delicate portraits, semi-silhouettes, and anonymity (sometimes posed), but also the movements between poses, in photographs of people, but not about people.” The delicate dance-like movements, the light fabrics, and the lighting technique emphasize the dream-like state to bring the viewer closer to the atmosphere created on set.
Silver Ladder has something about internal conflict and restraint found in dreams, an impossible choice between stillness and quiet and expressiveness and movement. The high contrast between light and dark pulls Aya in different directions. Dreams can also have linked elements between people where intentions and feelings are shared outside of everyday communication. A moment of realisation was felt by both through glances, movement, and repetition.
How you photograph sensuality without making the subject feel uncomfortable through the male gaze is something that I admire
This board is more of the representation
To follow your passion, I n this age and time and still present, Authenticity, social media, and hyper connectivity. The suppression of feminine energy
Your sense of how you photograph sensuality, internal conflict, emotion, movement, and anonymity.
Personal reach:
Sensuality, identity, feeling, pleasure, elegant, playful, twisted hypnotic, stop motion.
With every blink of the lens, it shows every stage of the metamorphosis.
In very dark tones when in black and white like HORST or Klein.
explores the degradation and transformative power of alienation (my isolation) As its protagonist, Gregor Samsa, experiences personal alienation from the people he has cared for and served, he is transformed, losing himself altogether.
Iness Rychlik is recognized for her dark surreal self-portraits, exploring themes of pain, solitude, and vulnerability. Since she suffers from a chronic skin condition, Iness uses her own body as a canvas for artistic expression. She draws on her deeply personal experiences, often reflecting on growing up in a conservative and patriarchal society. How isolated I feel from the world due to my unorthodox style of self-portraits.  So, this will be a documentation of exploring feelings, loneliness, and estrangement and how powerful all this can be even Tho society has given it a negative stigma. They are not just negative words there’s a positive side to. To be honest my self-portraits and sensuality keeps me sane.
Anonymity in my portraits– not showing the subjects face to preserve their dignity and identity. The idea is to provoke erotism and death in a positive manner. My camera focuses on not fetishizing the fem form and does not cipher of male desire. In shirt not for the ale gaze.  They do not acknowledge the complexity with male gaze. They are alluring because they do not repeat or allude the explicit visual patterns that pornography creates. They embrace the canniness of photography itself.
Generally overworking myself dedicating my personal concepts to muses who don’t embody the vibe I’m going for while forgetting the real intention of doing self-portraits as in my own needs. But then again, some tasks are daunting to be undertake alone like franz Kafka would say.
where does Harley come in? this would be a visual representation when the subject walks in the studio feeling all grumpy and tired: showcasing my tiredness and frustrations of photographing self. So, the deeper part of why I loathe self-portraits now. while the final forms show the beautiful side of it:  like the empowerment, vulnerability. I have tried to photograph my personal concepts on other subjects but its always feels like its missing something (A piece of me) coz they don’t always get the emotions and atmosphere that I am trying to portray and while doing it myself the work that goes in on it. Maybe because I’m the one feeling them. Just like when we photograph garments, we expect the subject to embody the material, the design and bring the feeling to life. that’s something that I haven’t been able to get in my recent shots.
Just like van Gogh used to paint himself due to lack of models and money, I am in the same boat. Collaborating with other photographers pushes and challenges me to make my ideas grander!
Hence why I don’t want to have just a subject. I want an actor, not an amateur so they can embrace and embody this character and take it all the way. So, Harley comes in with the documenting of the final forms process. So, a self-portrait that is showcased by another being. It doesn’t matter if it’s a man or a woman if they are equipped to embody this character. A self-portrait that is portrayed through another being. I think this would be great done by somebody eels so I can hard with the directing and making sure the details are nailed to the tea. And I think it would be a great twist for the viewer.
What is the intention with the final image and the final cut? To make dark room prints that can be submitted for exhibitions and for the final cut video I would like to submit that in magazines and galleries for private showing and then eventually when I have a large collection of my body of work then I can hold a solo exhibition.  My work is drifting away from taking images and just storing them. I am in an element where I want to showcase every single shot I take and make good use it whatever it’s an important exhibition or not. And you happen to be one of the ppl I have crossed path with and has the tools to guid me to the destination.
I get easily frustrated from shooting film because it frustrates me when someone else print it for me hence why I don’t Process them as much as I can because it feels very invasive to me. Every negative slide is personal to hence why I don’t want too many eyes or hand on shit.  My shoots tend to happen during my vulnerable moments, and I can’t just let any hands handle them. Which goes the same for letting another being photograph me.
And hence why I always use dark tone iin my style to represent annonymity
The important part is getting the best final image on film. Mainly the medium format.

Lighting
Rim light
Rim light falls under the backlight category but deserves a spot of its own. With backlight you often see the hazy or airiness from the light in the background resulting in highlights but you don’t have that with rim light.
With rim light, you’ll see the light from behind only highlight the edges of your subject (there’s a little haze falling into the top right of the frame below but you can see how the rim light separates the subject from the background). This is great to use when you need to separate your subject from the background.
Butterfly light
With butterfly light, the light is placed above and in front of your subject to create a small shadow under the nose resembling a butterfly (hence the name). This type of light beautifully highlights prominent cheekbones which is why you most often see it used on women.
However, it emphasizes the shadows from deep set eyes. Again, know your subject’s face and how the light will affect their features. Butterfly light is also commonly referenced as paramount light.
Loop light
Loop lighting is pretty much my go-to when creating light. With loop lighting, the light is about 45 degrees to the side and slightly above eye level.
This position of the light creates a shadow just under and to the side of one nostril and the nose. This is a flattering type of light on most everyone.

Aims & Objectives
In this project, the idea is to develop the first idea that I shot recently. I want to execute the idea exactly how I wrote down on the sketching pad. In this project, my influence will be Iain’s Crawford who is a fashion and beauty photographer. One of his body of work that is a big influence on me is the paint splash project.  I will use Crawford’s technique while in-cooperating my own to give my images an authentic feel.
The idea is to create an editorial shoot while using paint. Iain uses dramatic and vibrant colours whereas in this concept I will only be using black powder paint
The idea is to reshoot the whole idea from my previous shots that I had to improvise at the day of the shoot due to lack of props. This will be styled as: Pixie haircut, white heels pumps, black latex gloves and socks. For the chest area, spray some olive oil hair spray as the subject lays down flat and then pour the powder paint onto the chest using a sieve.

Cara Green:
Get a beautiful tall lamp and let the subject use it as prop. This will be very complimentary with the green gown from amazon. With this look, challenge yourself with unique poses. Do not let the green overshadow you Be the standout.
LIGHTING:
light the subject from above using an umbrella or a beauty dish. have one godox at an eye level angle. And a dimmed lamp next to the subject where the subject will use as a prop but mostly she has to be under the lamp so that i can give the dreamy effect
