Why do I headcanon this to either be Dino or S.Coups? Like, both of them have louder sneezes but they're also likely to get tired of sneezing if they have a cold for a longer time. My imagination is running wild rn...

Lately been big into sleepy sneezes, tired sneezes. Weak sneezes!!! Too exhausted to lift an arm to cover or move to direct it elsewhere sneezes. Sneezing into whatever’s closest. A pillow. Into the air. Into a chest. Maybe caught by another person’s hand. Only to be cuddled closer with reassuring words and head kisses as a little whimper escape.

Oh my god...THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! I LOVE IT!!

Hi!!! Can I request a SVT Dino snz fic where he catches a REALLY bad cold (for whatever reason). And his symptoms are the worse when SVT is filming a Going Seventeen episode. And like Dino tries not to sneeze but that proves to be impossible and eventually Seungkwan takes care of him. Thank youuuuuuuu!!!

He thought it was just allergies. He really did. However, when Dino woke up with an incredibly sore throat and the runniest nose he’d ever had, he had started to question it. Turning on his phone, Dino sat up, immediately searching for the box of tissues he always had on his nightstand. Bringing them up to his face, the dancer blew his nose loudly, triggering the intense itch he always got with colds. “HaTHCUH-TCHUH! Hi’TSHUH!” “Bless you!” Joshua called from across the hall. Dino rolled his eyes but smiled at the other members’ American habits. Rubbing his nose on his sleeve, Dino got out of bed and got dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants, then finally made his way to the bathroom. He didn’t have to look in the mirror to know he didn’t look good. He felt bad enough already as it was, and now that he was out of bed, he was pretty sure he had a fever. Massaging the bridge of his nose lightly, Dino washed his face and brushed his teeth before heading into the kitchen, where he was immediately greeted by S.Coups, Joshua, and Seungkwan.

“Good morning, Dino!” Seungkwan chirped, energetic as ever even though it was only 7:00 in the morning. Dino gave him a small smile before cupping sleeve-covered hands over his face. “Hi-TCH-CHUH! HeHTCHEW! H’NGXTCHEW!” He tried unsuccessfully to stifle the last sneeze before sniffling wetly, hands still over his face. Joshua handed him some napkins with a concerned look that matched the other two members. “Bless you, Chan. Are you okay?” S.Coups prodded, swiping a hand over his forehead. Dino tried to bat his hand away, but it was no use. “It’s just a little cold, I’m fide. I promise, hyung.” S.Coups looked at him with an eyebrow raised. “Really? Because you have a fever and we’re scheduled to film a Going Seventeen episode today. You know we’ll be filming basically all day. Are you gonna be able to get through it?” Dino could tell that S.Coups was trying to get him to admit he wasn’t fine, but he was too stubborn to fall for that. Thankfully, Seungkwan piped up right then. “Hyung, I’m sure he’ll be okay. He can take some meds that will reduce his fever and symptoms for a little while, at least.” S.Coups looked skeptical, but didn’t say anything. He knew he needed to trust the members to take care of themselves.

An hour later, S.Coups had all the members up and ready to go to their film destination, which just happened to be outside. Chewing on his lip, the oldest member checked the weather, sighing when he saw it was only 50 degrees outside. “Make sure you guys bring jackets, it’s a little chilly. Let’s go.” S.Coups had to stop himself from worrying about Dino in his current state, knowing that Seungkwan had packed extra medicine for him.

By the time the group had their hair and makeup done and were ready to film, Dino was absolutely exhausted. He could barely talk and his nose just wouldn’t stop itching and running. His breath began to hitch right as the cameras started rolling. No, not now. Please, he thought to himself, holding his breath to try and stop it. To his surprise, this seemed to have worked. Sighing with relief, he joined the rest of the members for the game they were playing. Trying to keep his sniffling to a minimum, Dino hid behind Seungkwan to wipe his nose on his sleeve as he listened to the rules of the game. Basically, they were playing tag, but if they were tagged, they had to stay completely still. If they moved at all, they got a penalty, which was running while singing one of their songs. Any other day, Dino would have been elated at this game. Today, however, he was dreading it. As they played rock-paper-scissors to decide who would be the tagger first, Dino had to turn away. “HUHTCHEH! Hi-SCHUH! HISHEW!” sniffling and internally groaning, Dino turned back to the others to find that Seungkwan was the first tagger. He didn’t miss the glance that Seungkwan shot at him before the game started. Dino was hoping the look was one of sympathy and that he wouldn’t tag him. The game began, and Seungkwan’s first target was Vernon, who was outrunning him. Good, Dino thought. More time for me to be able to move. Gasping as his breath hitched again, Dino pinched his nose. He really needed to keep his symptoms down, but they seemed to be getting worse, even with the meds he had taken earlier.

It took nearly ten minutes for all the members except for Dino to be tagged by Seungkwan. In truth, Seungkwan didn’t want to tag his sick friend. He felt bad enough that he had to film in the cold weather while sick. Glancing over at their manager, however, he sighed. He had no choice, and they both knew it. Feigning exhaustion, Seungkwan slowly made his way over to Dino, who was coughing harshly. Seungkwan pretended to be distracted until he was done, then lightly tapped the other, mouthing “sorry” as he walked away. Now they just had to wait for someone to move, then the game would officially have a loser. Dino felt another itch in his nose and immediately held his breath, keeping himself completely still. He really didn’t want to have to run around and sing while sick. Unfortunately, Dino could only hold his breath for so long. He knew he was gonna sneeze eventually, but he was hoping one of the other members would move before him. Looking around, he saw everybody else standing perfectly still, not a hint of discomfort on their faces, except for S.Coups, who was glancing at Dino, conveying worry just through his eyes. Dino tried to signal to S.Coups that he needed to not lose this game, looking down at his nose the best he could while pleading with his eyes. S.Coups seemed to get this, his eyes suddenly lighting up in understanding. Dino could feel his breath hitching more and more as he silently pleaded with S.Coups to move. Just as he was about to give up so he could sneeze, he heard a noise followed by a “dang it!” The rest of the group started cheering, stretching as they watched their leader lose. Dino, however, turned away, burying his face in his elbow.

Seungkwan ran to Dino as soon as S.Coups lost the game, only to find his friend in the throes of a sneezing fit. “HiTCHUH-ETCHUH! IT-TCHEW! Heh… HU-ThCHUh! ITSHIH! Uh-HITCH-IH! Oh by god..” Seungkwan rubbed Dino’s back in comforting circles. “Oh, Dino, we need to get you warmed up. Come on, let’s go.” Seungkwan had to practically drag Dino to the other members. S.Coups had finished his punishment and was waiting for Dino with tissues. Seungkwan handed them to the maknae, who accepted them gratefully. Blowing his nose productively, Dino sneezed again. “ah…eTCHUH! ITCHIH!” Seungkwan felt his forehead, eyes widening. Looking at S.Coups, he simply said “We have to get back to the dorm.” S.Coups nodded and twenty minutes later, they were back at the dorm. “Come on, Dino. Let’s get you to bed.” Groaning, Dino practically fell into his bed, asleep instantly. Seungkwan looked at him and couldn’t help thinking about how cute he was when he was sick. “Sleep well, Dino.” He whispered as he turned the light off, leaving the youngest member to rest and heal.

and specifically i've been looking for someone to write bnd fics!! i have a request if you could write a snzfic for leehan where he is obviously coming down with something but he only realizes it while they're filming "What?Door!" content or maybe we can see it in this dorm vlogs, i'll leave it to you.

oh and for main caretaker i was thinking taesan like he's the first one to notice and takes care of him from afar but not making it obvious cuz leehan won't admit he's sick until it's really bad.

He Just Needs Some Extra Attention Sometimes

Leehan's pov:

Filming FunNextDoor was something I looked forward to, always. The first time we filmed it was filled with so many precious memories that I was beyond excited when our company told us we would be filming a season 2 of FunNextDoor. I expected all of my members to have a lot of fun and relax, away from the idol life for a while. What I hadn't expected was the pounding headache I woke up with on the day of filming. I guess it's just the endless hours of practice finally catching up to me. Going through my morning routine as quickly as I could, I made my way to our shared dorm kitchen. “Good morning, Donghyun-ah!” I looked up to see Sungho hyung and Jaehyun hyung in the kitchen. Sungho hyung appeared to be making something and Jeahyun hyung…looked like he was only there to bother Sungho. Chuckling at the sight, I took a seat at the table and pulled out some cereal. “You aren't gonna eat?” Sungho hyung asked. Always so considerate. “No, hyung. I'm not that hungry anyway.” Sungho frowned at me but didn’t say anything.

I ate my breakfast while the rest of the members slowly entered our kitchen. Jaehyun and Woonhak immediately started doing their own thing, their energy bouncing off of each other. Dongmin and Sanghyeok stood to the side, talking to each other. And even though I was always grateful for Jaehyun and Woonhak, their loud voices definitely weren't helping my headache. I sighed softly, rubbing my fingers against the bridge of my nose. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see Dongmin handing me a painkiller. “You okay?” He asked me as I chugged a glass of water with the painkiller. “Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry.” Dongmin sighed but didn't say anything. Soon enough, we were walking to our company building with our staff, all ready for filming. And despite the excitement I had felt about the filming of FunNextDoor, my headache was making it difficult to enjoy the process. Along with the headache, my eyes were also getting slightly watery and my nose had started running as well. I blamed it on the cold weather but all these things together were definitely making my life difficult at the moment.

Taesan pov:

I had noticed Donghyun acting strange since the morning, actually. He looked way more distracted than usual. He also had absolutely no energy. I could see him wince at the members’ loud voices as they talked. I had offered him a painkiller to give him some relief but looking at him now, he definitely looks like he's catching a cold. Or already has one. His eyes are watery and slightly red, his nose looks itchy and he keeps breathing through his mouth. Knowing Donghyun, he was barely gonna acknowledge being sick as he's too busy in his own world which is what motivated me to take care of him, even if it was from afar. I couldn't just let him suffer on his own!

Soon we were boarding the bus that was gonna take us to our MT destination. I deliberately took a seat next to Donghyun to keep an eye on him. Thankfully, he didn't seem to mind. We sat in silence for a while until I heard a soft gasp from beside me. I turned to see Donghyun cupping his hands over his nose and mouth, eyes closing. “hh'ItChiHh!- hh'IkTShuHh!-” “Bless you.” I whispered to him and he nodded, the tips of his ears going red. I decided not to say anything yet and we continued to sit in silence, letting the members’ voices wash over us.

Leehan pov:

I knew Dongmin was probably worried about me after I sneezed in front of him but I'm glad he didn't make a big deal out of it. Once we arrived at our MT destination, all of us gathered in the living room to do stuff together. Even though I felt a little tired, I didn't want my members to worry about me so I made my way to the living room. I sat on the floor in front of the couch, letting my head roll back to rest on it, eyes closed. I felt a hand cars through my hair and I opened my eyes to see Dongmin, softly smiling down at me. “You look tired, Donghyun-ah. Do you wanna take a nap?” Barely registering the question, I nodded. Dongmin nodded as well before gently taking my hands and guiding me to our shared room. When I felt a burning sensation in my nose, however, I pulled my hands from his grip and turned away from him quickly. “hh'HktShuHh!-” Dongmin looked back at me, his eyes betraying his concern. “Bless you. Are you okay?” “Yeah, I'm fine.” I could tell he was still concerned despite my reply but he stayed silent. Dongmin guided me to my bed, whispering a soft rest well to me. I smiled at him in gratitude and soon enough, I fell asleep.

Taesan pov:

I was actually surprised at how quickly Donghyun fell asleep. And even though I already had my suspicions, I now knew for sure that he was sick. I didn't want to tell the hyungs yet because I knew that Donghyun himself didn't register his illness. Which is why I wanted to take care of him from afar until his condition got worse enough for him to acknowledge it and tell the hyungs. After quite a while, Donghyun finally woke up from his nap. He took a seat at the couch, hair messy from his nap. “You're up, Donghyun-ah! You slept for quite a while.” Jaehyun hyung commented, patting Donghyun's thigh. Donghyun smiled slightly at the attention. After a few minutes of sitting there, he rubbed at his nose, sniffling wetly. I quickly handed him a pack of tissues. He smiled at me gratefully before taking a few tissues out and softly blowing his nose. The pressure must've triggered a tickling sensation in his nose because he gasped soon after, his eyes closing. “hh’IkTShUhHh!- hh'HkTChiHhh!-” He rubbed the tissues against his nose again, groaning. “Bless you.” I said softly. He looked up at me with slightly teary eyes. “Thank you.” I scooted closer to him and ran a hand through his hair. “Care to admit you're sick now?” I asked teasingly and he nodded, blowing his nose again. Which caused his breath to start hitching again as well. “Hh'IkTChiHh!- hh'ItChiHh!-” I blessed him again as he rubbed his nose aggressively. “Sorry. You're right, I think I'm getting sick.” I laughed softly at the confession before guiding him gently back to his room. “You need to rest, Donghyun-ah. Get some sleep.” He stayed quiet but I knew that he agreed to the idea. As he entered his room, he turned back to me. “Thanks, Dongmin-ah.” I reached out and ruffled his hair. “No problem, Hyun-ah. Now get some sleep.” He smiled before entering his room. I stood at his doorway until he fell asleep and as I left his room, I smiled to myself. I guess he just needs some extra attention sometimes.

🌸 - Dino has moderate allergies to most flowers and some types of trees, making spring and fall absolute torture for him. Thankfully, he’s not severly allergic and allergy medicine helps his symptoms a lot. With his allergies, his face gets itchy and his nose runs, although the most noticeable symptom is his frequent sneezing.

🕯️ - Dino’s sensitive to dust and strong perfume scents. The members always know when they need to clean the dorm or stop using certain colognes because Dino will basically be sneezing nonstop around them. However, these sensitivities are not too severe and are manageable with meds.

👃- Dino has a fairly sensitive nose. On average, he sneezes 3-4 times a day when his allergies are not bothering him. He’s also a photic sneezer, so after he goes outside in the morning he usually sneezes. His nose doesn’t usually twitch much unless his allergies are really bothering him.

Hoshi

🤝 - Hoshi hates being taken care of when he’s sick. He feels like since he’s the leader of the performance unit and in a group with 12 other people, he should be able to take care of himself. He especially doesn’t want to worry S.Coups or have to cancel performance practices with the unit. Even with how much he hates being fussed over and taken care of, once he spikes a fever, he can’t fight the members off at all.

😔 - It can be hard to tell when Hoshi’s not feeling well. He works hard all the time, so he always just looks exhausted. However, when he’s sick, he’s less of a perfectionist. He also gets slightly more emotional and irritable, often missing being home around his parents when he’s sick. This is the one way the members can tell if he has a fever.

😳 - Hoshi’s not necessarily embarrassed about his sneezes, but he tries to avoid sneezing around others or in public. He finds it to be annoying and distracting. If Hoshi does sneeze in public, he doesn’t say anything unless someone comments on it. Really, he just doesn’t like the extra attention.

Jun

🤝 - Jun likes to say he doesn’t like being taken care of when he’s sick, but in reality that’s the only thing that comforts him. The other members, especially Minghao and Jeonghan, make up for how far he is from his family. He feels bad being taken care of, but he feels comforted when he is taken care of.

😔 - Jun always sleeps more when he’s sick. Before any other symptoms show up, he gets extremely tired. He’ll either go to bed super early, or literally be unable to get out of bed the next morning. This scared the other members at first, but now they always get prepared for sick Jun when he goes to bed early or won’t get up.

😳 - Jun isn’t embarrassed about his sneezes at all. He doesn’t make them dramatic or anything, he just doesn’t care. His thinking is that’s it’s completely natural and normal, so why care so much? He tends to not say anything after he sneezes unless he’s doing an interview or something like that. If he is doing something like that, he will apologize.

Minghao (The8)

🤝 - Minghao craves care and comfort when he gets sick. Part of this is because his parents weren’t very comforting when he was sick as a child, and part of it is he misses his hometown when he gets sick. Anyway, when he gets sick, especially when he has a fever, he always has to have a member cuddling him or he starts to cry.

😔 - Minghao tends to be very quiet when he’s sick. While other times he gets excited and hypes up the group, when he’s sick he just kind of blends into the background. He also gets more irritable, which is often how the members figure out he’s sick.

😳 - Minghao gets embarrassed by his sneezes. When he’s around others, he tries his best to stifle, although when he’s sick that makes his head hurt a lot. This habit has led to the other members scolding him, with them saying he’s gonna get a sinus infection. After he sneezes, Minghao tends to shake his head a bit and whisper “sorry, excuse me” quietly.

Dino

🤝 - As the maknae, Dino loves to be cared for and comforted when he’s sick. The members are like older brothers to him, and he always craves their cuddles and comforting words when he’s not feeling well. His favorite thing about being taken care of is definitely the cuddles he gets.

😔 - Dino’s main tell that he’s sick is how little sleep he gets. Usually, he’s able to get 4-5 hours of sleep and be fine. When he’s sick, however, he’s lucky if he gets 2 hours of sleep. Usually, this is because his fevers keep him awake and uncomfortable all night.

😳 - Dino’s a little bit self conscious about his sneezes, mainly because of the volume of them. He tends to avoid drawing extra attention to himself, especially when he’s sick, so if he sneezes, he won’t say anything unless someone brings it up.

Sure!!! Hope you like it!! 💕

Even though we have NEVER seen Seungkwan sneeze on camera, I think he'd have a quieter and more itchy sounding sneeze. I would spell it like Hh'IkTChiHh! I also think his sneezes would have a lot of build up and his breath would hitch A LOT before he finally sneezes. This draws a lot of attention from his members and some of them would even tease him about it. He usually sneezes just once but if he's sensitive to a particular smell such as a perfume, he would sneeze twice in rapid succession.

He's pretty sensitive to perfumes and pollen. Perfumes make him sneeze so the members usually inform him before they buy a new one. However, when they forget to do so, Seungkwan's usually a sneezy, sniffly mess if he's in near proximity to the scent. Pollen doesn't make him sneeze like some of the other members (Vernon, Mingyu) but it does irritate his eyes and makes his nose itchy. He doesn't have any other allergies.

When he's sick, he tends to want to push through (keyword: want) but his members catch on quickly as he's way more quiet. I think he'd stick to Jeonghan and Dokyeom when he's more sick (has a fever, sneezing a lot) but if he just has a cold, he would stick to Vernon (maybe Dino). When he's catching a cold, he would sneeze only once at a time but would sneeze a lot throughout the day. He would also get more irritable but after a while, he would just become quiet. He's prone to crying when he gets a fever.

😩 - do they tend to sneeze just once or twice, or multiple times? Do they have fits frequently or rarely? Does how many times they sneeze depend on the cause?

💦 - how wet are their sneezes? Do they spray barely at all, or are you gonna need an umbrella? Do they try to cover at all, or just let it go? Do they sniffle a lot when they’re sick or allergies are bugging them?

Seungkwan

🤧 - Seungkwan has fairly quiet sneezes. They’re noticeable, but not loud enough to draw attention to himself. Depending on whether it’s a cold or allergies, his sneezes can sound itchy or wet. For spelling, I would say it sounds like “hitCHeww!”

😩 - How many times Seungkwan sneezes depends on the cause for sure. If it’s his allergies, he usually sneezes at least twice, sometimes three times. With colds, Seungkwan sneezes a lot at the very beginning, maybe four or five times at once.

💦 - Seungkwan has pretty wet sneezes for sure, especially when he has a cold. He used to not cover at all, but Vernon and Joshua have ingrained it in him to at least cover with his hands, so he tries to do that. Seungkwan sniffles a LOT, especially in winter. His nose is very sensitive to temperature changes too, so when he goes from somewhere cold to somewhere warm, he’s sure to be sniffling.

Vernon

🤧 - Vernon’s sneezes are medium volume. Not too loud, but definitely noticeable. The most noticeable part is his breath hitching, as it always gets louder before he sneezes. His sneezes sound something like “HUH-ItcUH!”

😩 - Vernon almost always sneezes in multiples. More often than not, he sneezes in triples at a time. If he’s sick, however, he will sometimes have fits of six or seven sneezes at once.

💦 - Vernon’s sneezes are a bit wet, but not messy. He always sneezes into his elbow, and there is always a little damp spot left behind. Since he always covers no matter what, the other members don’t worry that his sneezes are wet. As for sniffles, Vernon only gets them with allergies, specifically cats and pollen. Something about the allergens making his nose itch so much makes him extremely sniffly.

Dino

🤧 - Dino’s a loud sneezer. He always has been. They sound desperate and make the other members cringe, since they also sound very painful sometimes. They always sound so relieving as well. I would spell it like “HaTCHUHI”

😩 - Dino almost always sneezes just once. If he sneezes more than once, the members know he’s sick. When he does get sick, the most times he sneezes in a row is three. Other than that, even his allergies don’t cause him to sneeze more than once.

💦 - Dino’s sneezes are definitely messy. Even though he just sneezes once, it seems like everything has to come out in that one sneeze. When Dino’s around fans or other idols, he tries to cover. When he’s by himself or around the other members, however, he tends to just let them go, which has earned him many glares from Vernon and Joshua. Chaewon:

Her sneezes almost always catch her by surprise and she has barely any time to cover and usually ends up sneezing in the open. This leads to her getting her members sick loads of times. Her sneezes are among the loudest of the grp and they're usually wet. When she gets sick, she sneezes in multiples and her sneezes get quieter and more wet. She usually goes to Sakura for comfort when she's sick as she's the oldest. But it's usually Yunjin who notices Chaewon's sick before the others.

Sakura:

Sakura's sneezes are fairly quiet. She doesn't really sneeze often unless she's sick so it's easy for the members to tell if she's sick or not. She usually prefers to be left alone while sick, choosing to deal with it alone. But her members would have to remind her to take more care of herself while she's sick. So in short, she prefers to be alone but has to be reminded to actually take care of herself.

Yunjin:

Yunjin has the loudest sneeze of the group. Being American, she usually blesses the other members and so the members have picked up the habit and bless her when she's sick too. This leads to her feeling less nostalgic when she's sick and she really appreciates it. She has a forceful sneeze which usually causes her upper body to bend over forwards. This leads to her getting dizzy often when she's sick and is already weak. She gets emotional when she's sick and usually sticks to Chaewon for comfort.

Kazuha:

Kazuha has a pretty quite sneeze. Her sneeze is so quite that sometimes the members can't even tell if she sneezed which leads to her being better at hiding when she's sick. But she usually approaches the members when she's sick, craving the comfort. Her sneezes definitely get more wet when she's sick contrary to her drier normal sneezes. She likes going to Sakura when she's sick because they can speak in Japanese to each other but she also loves going to Yunjin.

Eunchae:

Eunchae has a quiet but wet sneeze. She usually sneezes in doubles. As she's the baby of Le Sserafim, her unnies get worried if she sneezes even once which leads to Eunchae wanting to hide her sickness from her members so as to not worry them. But that never works though as she gets super emotional while sick and craves the warmth and love of her members.

🍵: Do they like tea when they’re not feeling well? If so, do they like it with honey, lemon, both, with something else, or just plain? Would they accept something else if they couldn’t have tea? If they don’t like tea, is there something they’d rather drink instead? Would they drink tea if their preferred drink wasn’t available?

😔: What are their “tells” when they’re not feeling their best? Do they sleep more or less? Do they become easily irritated, aggressive, snap at little things? Or do they withdraw and become quieter, cry at the drop of a hat, stay in the background? What’s the one surefire way that one of their loved ones would be able to tell that they’re sick?

❄️: Would it be more unusual to see this character sick during the winter or during the summer? Do they typically go down during cold and flu season, or do they usually get summer colds?

🎤: How does their voice change when they’re sick or allergies are bugging them? Does their voice get lower? Scratchy? Raspy? Can you hear any congestion in their voice or do they hide it well? Do they avoid speaking too much because of a sore throat and coughing, or do they try to talk through those things?

⚙️: Do they have some kind of ritual that they do when they’re not feeling great that helps? Does it help physically, or does it just make them feel better emotionally?

😳: Are they embarrassed by their sneezes, or do they just not really care? Do they apologize after sneezing? Do they say “sorry!” or “excuse me!” or anything like that? If they’re embarrassed about it, why?

😥: How would they react to being sick for their favorite holiday or their birthday? Would they be really upset, or not get too bent out of shape? What would they do if somebody gave them a gift that they’re allergic to? Would they say they’re allergic to it or not? Try to give it back, keep it, or get rid of it later?
