I wanna ask something about ur far from home au!!!

How did yanqing (the deceased one) even die?

Is yanqing the reincarnation of lieunant yanqing?.

1. The canon Yanqing ended up dying in a future battle while fighting alongside Jing Yuan. The situation was getting gradually bad enough that it was possible another call to Lan for help *may* have been needed and knowing from history how many lives were lost the last time that happened (Third Abundance War), Yanqing did something incredibly reckless to change the tide. It unfortunately led to his death.

2. The interesting thing about this AU is that the healer Yanqing is *not* a reincarnation of Lieutenant Yanqing.

What’s cool about HSR is that every world seems to be its own place among the Imaginary Tree (Honkaiverse/Hoyoverse). The only reason it feels like HSR and its worlds feel like they’re all one piece is because of civilizations having powerful enough technology and blessings of Aeons to travel between them. The Astral Express can only go places that had tracks established but everywhere not marked down is beyond their reach (part of the reason why Welt can’t go home). IPC is able to utilize the blessing of Preservation to contact other worlds.

Even in HI3rd, Earth is just one world with its own reality. Meanwhile other planets (such as Venus) in the solar system also had their own civilizations and reality rules. So in the Honkaiverse world travel isn’t just traveling between worlds as in planets.

So healer Yanqing and Lieutenant Yanqing are like a Bronya Rand & Silverwolf, Otto & Luocha, Acheron & Mei, etc. And just like Acheron and Welt have stated, during their travels they have met variants of people they knew from their homeworld. Canon Yanqing himself is a variant of Ma Feima (Ma Yanqing) from HI3rd. So there are most definitely multiple Yanqings out there somewhere.

As for how healer Yanqing ended up with Jing Yuan and the Luofu…

The familiar, though tattered, red ribbon in his hair gives some implications of why he’s all alone.

Hey! It's me, again! ^^ I have some questions after finishing the entire Penacony quest after a while and I hope it won't bother you if I were to ask more questions again about your Mirror Image AU.

1. So, After meeting Clockie for the first time, I was wondering, if Clockie were to be in the Mirror Image AU, would Clockie know about Yanqing and Qingyan and Misha and Ahsim's situation? What will Clockie's reaction be? Would Clockie be very concern of their powers taking over bodies? Would even Yanqing and Qingyan be available to see Clockie themselves?

2. Will general Jing yuan come to visit Penacony if he isn't busy in the Mirror Image AU? Is so, what would his first impression of Misha and Ahsim would be like? And if he were to be able to see Clockie, What would he think of Clockie? (I forgot Clockie's pronouns)😅

I don’t mind at all!

1. Clockie definitely knew about Misha and Ahsim for a while. And it isn’t until Misha and Ahsim learn about Qingyan that they secretly tell Clockie about Qingyan too (like how Misha told Clockie about the Trailblazer). Clockie definitely used to be a little bit concerned about Ahsim but quickly warmed up to him.

When Clockie finally learned about Qingyan, he wasn’t as concerned thanks to his experiences with Ahsim. If anything, Clockie thinks Yanqing having Qingyan is more incentive for Misha and Ahsim to get closer to Yanqing and Qingyan. Especially since they all have some things in common (plus Misha and Ahsim’s lack of other friends).

As for who can see Clockie: Qingyan can see and hear Clockie just fine. Being born of energy really allows him to have better sensitivity to these things. As for Yanqing… Yanqing actually cannot see or hear Clockie. It’s only due to his deep connection with Qingyan that Yanqing is sensitive enough to memoria to accurately sense where Clockie (and Clockie’s friends) are. Even as Yanqing and Qingyan share the same body and see through the same eyes, Qingyan can see Clockie and Yanqing can only sense where Clockie is standing.

2. Jing Yuan probably would show up to Penacony at some point. But definitely not during the story or any of the adventures Penacony’s current story will bring the boys lol. However, Yanqing would definitely be super excited to privately introduce Misha and Ashim. Jing Yuan would find it rather fascinating and certainly get along with them. He’d also be incredibly pleased to find a pair who share something so specific in common with Yanqing.

If Jing Yuan were able to see Clockie I personally think he’d be a little surprised but find it as a pleasant surprise. He strikes me as someone who would think it’s neat and delightful to have these little characters running around the place. Probably thinks it makes Penacony a bit more charming and lively.

So are the “other selves” kinda like Genocider Syo from Danganronpa?

I’d say it’s a close comparison. Only major differences is they have the optional ability to share memories and thoughts and they also don’t need some sort of method to allow switching (such as the sneezing, taser, generally getting knocked out)

I also have a question about the mirror image AU, so when the other "self" is in control, do misha and yanqing retain memories of what they did as ahsim and qingyan while they're in the mindscape?

Misha and Yanqing can retain the memories of what they did as Ahsim and Qingyan. Whoever is not in control basically goes into an observer mode. However, it is entirely possible for the one in control to block the other out (meaning not allowing the “observer” to witness anything). All four of them have the ability to do this with their memories and thoughts which enables privacy but also can create secrecy. But no matter what, they can always feel each other’s emotions. Emotions can never be blocked out so it’s possible for whoever isn’t in control to feel the emotions of the one in control but have no context.

i have so much i wanna ask about the Guiding Light AU, but I'll simply ask if 1. yanqing uses ghostly grove to post about his ghost encounters and 2. if he gets roped into heliobus hunting

1. When it comes to the Ghostly Groove, Yanqing doesn’t post anything. However, if the situation is harmless enough, he won’t mind passing things over for the ghost hunting squad to post so they get the attention for it. However, anything that should be taken seriously he keeps to himself. But he does use the Ghostly Groove postings to sometimes hunt down the non-heliobi/real ghost issues since he’s the only one who can manage it.

2. Yanqing never ends up joining the actual ghost squad for the heliobus hunting. In truth, he really doesn’t care about the heliobi and is more annoyed by them than anything. Though he will report any heliobi activity. But what’s also interesting to note about Yanqing in this AU is that he’s really not a big fan of the Ten Lords Commission. Especially since they can’t actually solve problems of the dead and also act as judges. Yanqing actually finds them rather useless and a joke. After all, Yanqing can see every single person that could never actually be helped despite the Ten Lords acting as a “mortal Death”. So he ideally would like to keep his distance from anything relating to their work and prevent paths crossing.

Another fun fact about this AU is that Guiding Light!Yanqing actually has only one person who knows his secret and that is… Huohuo. So in relation to the ghost hunting stuff, Yanqing hands over content to Huohuo for the squad to post on Ghostly Groove (sometimes will even make use of the ghosts he’s befriended) and only Huohuo knows that Yanqing is busy hunting real ghosts and will even try and help share things with him that she thinks might not be heliobi.

For months now I’ve had a clear scene for a comic stuck in my head of them meeting for the first time and how Huohuo becomes an accidental ally for Yanqing. I hope to someday finally get to work on it or maybe write it out if the eventual fic for this AU comes out first.

1. So what happen to Yanqing and Misha once their powers took over their place after becoming Sentimental?

2. Will there be other characters like Jing Yuan or the Trailblazer that will appear in this AU? If so, what will they think about Yanqing and Misha's powers taking over their bodies?

Haha, I don’t mind at all! Feel free to ask. I also may draw more comics but I will overall be making more art in the future. Though, for the full story/plot for any of my aus I prefer writing fics since it’s generally quicker and easier to get descriptive.

1. Misha and Yanqing have a cooperative/symbiotic relationship with their “other selves”. And they can always communicate mentally with their other self regardless of who’s in control. When it comes to their memories and thoughts, all of them have the authority to hide info from their other self or allow everything (or certain things) to be shared. However, what none of them can ever block out are emotions. Emotions will always be shared/felt.

Naturally, with only one body, they can only have one of them in control at a time. And this is as simple as breathing for them and they can switch control at any time. Whoever is not in control (or both not in control if they’re sleeping/unconscious) sort of hang out in an endless mindscape “room”. Though this is a mixture of literal and metaphorical.

Other than seemingly displaying a different personality (from the perspective of other people who don’t know), Ahsim and Qingyan have finer control over Misha and Yanqing’s powers and know how to handle the full potential of these abilities. After all, that’s literally what Ahsim and Qingyan are “born” from and made of. Additionally, they can also prevent Misha and Yanqing from using their powers partially or entirely. This is typically done as a safety feature since Misha and Yanqing could risk harming themselves or others if no limitations are put down. And of course, Ahsim and Qingyan have to be mindful of the bodies of their hosts.

2. There will definitely be other characters. For Jing Yuan, he found out about Yanqing and Qingyan later on in their life but still before HSR starts (he doesn’t know about Misha since he didn’t get to meet Misha yet). Other than that, Jing Yuan is the only one who is fully informed about the Yanqing and Qingyan situation and doesn’t mind it at all. Meanwhile there are some select few such as Fu Xuan who suspect something is going on but still don’t actually know.

As for the Trailblazer, currently they don’t know about either. And, depending on how the rest of Penacony’s current story goes, I’d imagine them learning about Ahsim and Qingyan sometime during it (since Yanqing went to Penacony in this AU). Ahsim and Qingyan have been keeping some things solely between them and with both of them highly protective of their hosts, it’s only natural they’d take control if the situation is getting a bit dangerous. The trailblazer may be in for quite the shock haha.

The angsty part of me wants to ask:

What if Misha was kidnapped and used against Yanqing in your Butterfly Effect AU? What lengths would Yanqing go to get him back? Would he act against orders to save him?

Love your art. They always give me brain worms.

Hehe, if that ever happened to Misha, Yanqing would definitely do anything and everything to get him back even if it meant going against orders. Yanqing would even take a high risk of getting killed if it meant Misha’s safety. Though, I’d pity anyone who pissed off Yanqing like this.
