if you’ve been lucky enough to see him live, you’ll know jamie muscato has one of those voices that has a lot more to it in person than in recordings. I think this song is the closest any recording has ever gotten to what he actually sounds like. brilliant cover anyway but it showcases his voice so well

Best Act I Finale Song Tournament

As a prelude to the Best Musical World Cup 2024, this tournament will find the best Act I Finale song in musical theater.

The tournament begins on 8 October 2023.

Additional notes: If a musical has had multiple Act I Finales over the course of its history, all of them will be eligible to compete. If a musical's Act I Finale is not a song but a scene, than I will accept the last song performed in Act I. Finales of one act musicals are not accepted.

My embarrassing admission is that I've been seriously into Newsies and Les Mis at various points, but I still can't tell apart those swarms of hot young background guys that the fans go crazy about when I watch them. Hell I still don't know most of the barricade boys' names! There's Enjolras, Grantaire, and the Comb Ferret but beyond that I couldn't tell you.

willemijn is ELSA!!!!!! (but this time on stage!!!!) she already has a track record of SMASHING this role, so we know she’s going to be amazing in Die Eiskönigin Das Musical. I cannot wait to see pictures of her in full costume!!!! 🤩🤩🤩 now i just gotta figure out how I’m going to get tickets to fly to Germany & to see the show… 🤯
