You all realise there are [far] more than 50 different spider-man comic storylines that include either all of what you think is missing in the MCU rendition or includes none or some of it. Mind you unlike the other movies- this movie takes place in a different dimension. A dimension specifically made for the MCU as well as it takes place in the middle of a grand scheme of a far larger cinematic story than it itself.
The biggest lie that MCU Peter fans repeat over and over is that this Peter is based off the Ultimate Comics Peter. Everyone is repeating the same wrong information without textual evidence. It’s not true at all. It is the most disingenuous lie they tell themselves when confronted with the idea that MCU Peter is ripping off Miles Morales, Kamala Khan, and now Riri Williams.
