I drift, alone, dreaming of the day that I comprehend the reason behind the carnage and pain that is endlessly distributed into the world.

Maslow saw purpose in the hurt. He said it was meant for the progression of the entity: the being. "But, does it have to be so volatile, so intense? Rape, murder, hate?", I would ask. My question falls upon dead ears.

I drift, alone. Yet, I am connected to everything around me. Stretched toward the endless sky, I know some day it will all make sense if I can just hold on.
