How many black lives are going to take for people to care. For people not to brush it off by saying "All Lives Matter", as if when they say that, it makes it all better, don't make it about you, because all lives don't matter until #BlackLivesMatter.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ We can't say that we care for all beings and we want animal liberation if we don't mean ALL.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Most of us, live in a Eurocentric society and we don't realise that everything we learn, revolves around people that looks like us. We forget that our reality is not the only reality. We need to understand that we have enjoy a privilege.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Having privilege doesn't mean that your life hasn't been hard, but that your skin color is not what makes it harder.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ We can't expect to know what 400 years of institutionalized racism feels like.⁣⁣⁣ We need to listen, learn and support black people. A way of transport and racing through ice and snow Sled dogs are considered stock, so they are not protected by the same laws as the animals we call pets. Allowing mushers to operate breeding mills (like you typical cruel puppy mill), they are not given proper veterinary care and when the dogs are no longer fit to race, they are killed This dogs living conditions are disgusting and inhumane to say the least! They are given little to no shelter, consisting of thin plastic barrels that have holes on the sides or are cut off and wooden sheds that have no weather insulation with metal rusted buckets attached to them for their food and water, and they are chained to those "shelters" until they are needed Please don't contribute to this industry that uses and abuses animals for entertainment.
