Mari waited patiently until Harry came back with the doctor. She asked Harry to leave while she spoke with him. When Harry came back in Mari was shaking slightly. "All in my head? Well somehow you're right but this is a tumor, Harry!!! Not some kind of flu! You could have told me straight away!"

Harry looked down at his hands and busied himself with what was in them.“Well that all depends really,” he said, clearing his throat. “Do you want to be okay?”

Mari blushed till the tip of her ears at his words. She felt both relieved and... disappointed? She cleared her throat lightly, running her hand down her hair before speaking. "Well is there anything I can do to make the disappointment go away?" She stuttered lightly while speaking, but she meant the truth.

"Do you remember anything from last night?"

“I remember everything from last night and nothing happened much to my disappointment.” Seth slides toward the side of the bed and then looks over his shoulder “There was naked cuddling involved though.” He chuckles and then stands up stretching.

Mari laughed, before taking some more of her wine. She hasn’t been expecting this kind of reply but it had amused her greatly. ‘The truth you say? I was just trying to be polite!” She joked.

His smile made Mari eyes open a bit wider, before she herself smiled brightly. “You’re welcome. I’m so happy right now. I finally did what I was meant to do. Now... Now I can go.” She finished before falling to the floor.

Mari looked with adoration at his soulmate as he joined her by her side and took her hand in his. As their fingers tangled she could feel a blissful smile spread across her features.

They started to walk in silence and she wouldn’t mind it. With Neth Aras she could stay quiet forever just enjoying his company, but soon he spoke and Mari nodded. She though for a moment on her reply, before slowly answering.

“My favorite flower? It would have to be a water lily. I find them beautiful, floating in lakes and ponds. They are so delicate and yet their roots are strong and they can withstand more than they look to be able to. Also they are the symbol of optimism and rebirth.” She smiled softly to herself. She often though that those flowers hold a special meaning to her, especially since she met Neth Aras. She had always been an optimist, but since she met the elve she could only see bright colors ahead of her - always when he was by her side. And she truly felt like she was born - remade when she met him. “What would be yours Meleth Nin?”
