Interruptions
Character: Tom Blyth
Requested: No
Type: Fluff
Summary: Tom Blythe’s girlfriend, Amelia Burkhart joins the cast of The Ballad of the Songbirds and Snakes as Sejanus Plinth’s girlfriend.
Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amelia never thought she would have the pleasure of working with her boyfriend, but after many years in the industry she finally has the chance to say she has.
Working in a franchise as big as The Hunger Games was such a surreal experience , and the fact that she gets to share it with the person she loves most adds an extra layer of perfection.
Her connection with Tom, sparked through a mutual friend, has consistently radiated fireworks. Now, after two amazing years together, they find themselves side by side, working on the anticipated Hunger Games prequel.
The funny thing about that was that she plays Anastasia Clemence, the love interest of Sejanus Plinth, while Tom, cast as Coriolanus Snow, found himself entangled with Lucy Gray, portrayed by Rachel Zegler, who happens to be Josh Rivera’s girlfriend who is playing Sejanus Plinth.
It was like an episode of girlfriend swap everyday on set. A humorous acknowledgment among the actors.
In a pivotal scene, Josh and Amelia engage in a passionate exchange, transitioning seamlessly from a heated argument to an intense make-out session. And for some reason both Tom and Rachel decided to watch it.
“Are you serious Sej? You’re working with the dam rebels. Do you not even want to go back home?” Amelia slipped into Anastasia's shoes the moment the cameras started filming. Amelia, as Anastasia, confronts Josh’s Sejanus, discovering his involvement with the rebels.
Josh ran a hand through his hair looking at the girl in front of him, “I need to do something with my life Stasia, I need you to understand that.” He responded, expressing Sejanus’ commitment “I can’t just sit here and do nothing. It’s not fair to them.”
As emotions surged, Amelia, teary-eyed, pleaded with him before pushing at his chest, “It’s not fair to me that you are putting yourself at risk, Sejanus. This isn’t just about you. This is about our future, our life, and you’re throwing it all away and for what? You can get hurt Sej, or worse, you can get killed.” Her eyes glisten with unshed tears grabbing onto his face, “you can’t leave me. You just can’t. I-I wouldn’t know what to do without you.”
He sighs leaning his forehead against hers,”It’s all going to be okay Stasia, I promise. I need you to trust me. Coryo has a plan. He’ll get us out of here.” He presses his lips to her forehead mumbling, “I won’t ever leave you . I promise.”
The atmosphere hung in suspense before a sudden surge of passion seized through Amelia. She grabbed the back of his neck, pressing her lips to his, arms immediately wrapping around her waist, with an urgency that transformed them into Anastasia and Sejanus.
He effortlessly lifts her, her legs wrapping around his waist, and slams her against the wall. Their tongues intertwined, teeth colliding in a chaotic dance that defined their unique connection–a beautiful mess that belonged solely to them. His hands ran through her hair, gently tugging, evoking a soft moan from her.
The scene took an unexpected turn as her boyfriend’s voice disrupted the intimacy.“DO IT AGAIN SHE LIKES IT ROUGH,” he proclaimed, shattering the moment. Amelia couldn’t help but burst into laughter, followed by Josh, who carefully placed her back on the ground.
"Tom, we've been through this before – you can't just shout out like that." The director sighed, chuckling slightly. "You're a bit weird, you know? You might be the first actor I've come across who enjoys watching their girlfriend kiss another actor. Let's take a 5-minute break, and then we'll give it another shot." He gestured toward Tom and Rachel. "…But this time, without either of you here."
Rachel's jaw dropped. "I didn't even do anything; it was all him." She accused Tom, pointing at the man who pretended to be shocked. The director rolled his eyes playfully as he headed out the door. She lightly smacked Tom's arm. "See what you did? You just got us kicked out of the scene."
Amelia and Josh approached the other duo. Amelia gave Tom a light shove. "You knew that was going to be a perfect take. Now we have to do it all over again."
Tom smiled sheepishly. "I couldn't help myself. This..." He motioned to the four of them. "...always makes me laugh."
Josh draped his arm around his girl. "You don't catch either of us making a scene during your performances. We're the epitome of well-behaved." He and Amelia exchanged a high five.
Tom glanced at Amelia, the girl nestled in his arms, and grinned. "Alright, I'll behave next time. And you," he pointed at Josh, "better keep that tongue of yours in check."
Amelia's eyes widened in horror at Tom's comment, while Rachel and Josh erupted in laughter before making their way towards the snacks.
Amelia wrapped her arms around Tom's neck, shaking her head. "You're terrible. But Tim's right; I never thought you'd be up for watching me kiss another guy in real life. On screen, it's different, but showing up to these shoots is just crazy."
Tom gave her a light kiss. "It's Josh. We both swap kisses with each other's girlfriends." He shrugged playfully. "I trust you. I know the role you're playing, and I know you'll give it your all." Leaning in, he hovered over her lips. "Plus, after his untimely death, Anastasia has no other choice but to run into the arms of his best friend." He kissed her slowly, making her melt. "And then it'll be you and me in these scenes. No interruptions."
The President's Daughter (2)
Character: Finnick Odair
Requested: Sorta lol
Type: Angst/Fluff
Summary: Arianna Flemings-Snow, the adopted daughter of Coriolanus Snow, bravely volunteers for the 75th Annual Hunger Games. Now it's training day for the tributes.
Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arianna would be lying if she said she didn't like training.
She did. She trains everyday for at least two hours. Last week she threw knives at holograms for four hours straight and loved it.
Even after winning her games she knew she had to be prepared for everything. At fifteen she realized how unprepared she was for life, and she was never going to feel that way again.
What she didn't like was having to train with nineteen other people that will want to murder her for their own survival. Obviously minus Mags, Finnick, her district partner, and Johanna.
It's not that she was worried. She just never wanted to return to how inhumane she was all those years ago. Training for fun was one thing, but training for the Hunger Games was completely different.
"Snow White in the flesh. What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" She smiles instantly turning around finding Finnick in his uniform.
"My fisherman." He laughed and put his arm around her walking her through the training center towards Mags.
She looked at each District pairs stopping her eyes at the District 1 pair throwing their knives at the holograms. Gloss smirks at Cashmere before meeting Arianna's eyes and winks.
Finnick pulls her her towards him glancing at the man, "What's that about? Making an alliance with the Careers?"
She shakes her head looking around to District 3 trying to create fire, "Nope." She then turns to see Finnick staring right at her. "I'm serious. Gloss invited me to the Careers and I told him I would ask you. You're the only alliance I really care about and you know it."
"I was thinking about the newbies." Though Arianna knew that's where he was heading she was skeptical. The girl seemed nice, but her father gave her one rule and it was to not fraternize with the enemy. And Katniss is his #1 enemy currently. "Unless you weren't?"
She runs a hand through her hair, "Can we even trust them Finn? At least with the careers we know they'll have our back until the end."
"I'm sure Gloss would stab me before we even make it halfway." Jealousy bright in his eyes. Gloss definitely had a crush on Arianna, he doesn't blame him though, everyone does.
She ruffles his hair up a bit, "And I would make sure every ounce of blood drains slowly and agonizingly out of his body if he does that."
"My wicked Snow White." He smirks at her threat. He knows if the roles were reversed he would do the same thing. That's how their relationship goes. Even outside of the games every time there was a possible threat towards his girl he was always one step ahead already ready to rip some heads off. She boops his nose before continuing their walk down the pathway.
The moment they made it to the hooks sections she immediately hugged Mags, "Let me see what you're doing Mags." The old lady smiles big before licking her fingers and continuing her work.
Finnick couldn't help but admire the girl as she was following Mags' directions. She was captivating. He couldn't help but stare. Realizing he was staring a little bit too long he starts observing the rest of the Victors. He then noticed Katniss on the other side looking at the ropes. He comes up next to her and grabs onto the rope she was tying (horribly).
"Girl on Fire can't even tie a rope. Hm interesting. Here let me. "He starts wrapping the rope around his hand twirling each strand beautiful. "Let me show you the best knot in the arena." Katniss still stares at him annoyance visible on her face making him chuckle. "Arianna better not see you staring at me. Look at the knot not my beautiful face. This is the bit where it gets complicated."
He then puts it around his neck, tightens it until it's snug against his throat. He grabs the end of the rope, "And this is for...well you know..." He then pretends to be hanging.
The girl in front of him smiles sarcastically, "Fun"
He turns to the girl offering her the end of his rope, "Do you want to take me for a walk?"
Katniss glared at the man about the leave when she retorts, "Shouldn't you be asking your girlfriend that?"
He chuckles keeping the rope around his neck before pointing to the Knives section. "She's a bit busy being a badass right now."
The duo walks towards where all the tributes seem to be admiring the young girl.
As the first holographic target flickered to life, Arianna's hand moved with lightning speed. A gleaming silver knife soared through the air, embedding itself precisely in the center of the target.
A particularly challenging hologram materialized—a ferocious muttation with razor-sharp teeth. The tension in the air thickened as Arianna locked eyes with the holographic beast.
With a swift, controlled motion, she flung a set of knives in rapid succession, hitting the muttation's vulnerable points. The hologram dissipated in a burst of light, and the crowd erupted into cheers
Arianna, unfazed by the attention, took a moment to acknowledge the crowd with a nod and a confident smile then hugs a proud-looking Mags. "This is my go-to knife and now it's yours. Use it well."
As people were finally going back to their training she stops in front of Katniss and Finnick.
She looks at the rope around his neck while raising her eyebrow. She twirls the loose end of the rope around her hand and tugs hard making him immediately lose his balance and lean towards the girl smirking. "I like this."
Finnick couldn't help but reciprocate the feeling. "You and me both...I was just showing Girl on Fire here the best knot in the arena."
Arianna ties her up in a ponytail before crossing her arms. " You learned from the master. He was the one to teach me many years ago how to do that. When he wasn't even my mentor." She then points to where she was. "I was teaching Mags how to throw a knife. I think she was too busy hyping me up to actually be looking."
"Couldn't leave Snow White in distress. The best part of the Hunger Games is the rope tying." Arianna lightly hit his chest. "And let's be honest here Mags definitely agreed to the demonstration so she can show you off. Very wise woman she is."
Katniss cleared her throat making the duo look at her. Peta also decided to stand next to his fiancé. "That was impressive."
The short compliment made the girl smile, "Don't worry you won't be at the end of my throws." Peta sighed in relief making the duo laugh out loud. "Hopefully we'll be able to be allies, right Finnick?" He nods and winks at Katniss before following the girl pulling his rope.
"If I knew you liked being dominant I would've given you a rope a long time ago." Arianna couldn't help but laugh letting the rope go and taking it off him, she caressed her hand around the rawish area. An intimate yet beautiful moment between the two. Both looking at one another intensely.
Peta and Katniss were still looking at the pair who were a few feet away from them. "So what do you think?"
Katniss really didn't know what to think. Finnick's threat last time ran through her head. Seeing them now definitely solidifies her thoughts of them being together.
It's very interesting seeing those two claim they're not together yet so openly show their care for one another. A part of her loves the idea of a true love connection at the games, but she can't really see the playboy of the capitol and the tyrants' daughter together as a symbol of love.
Now the two were at the plants section with Arianna quickly matching all the plants correctly. "She's brilliant and skilled, but I don't trust either of them."
Peta liked the duo. He understands Katniss' skepticism, but he also doesn't want the duo as possible enemies especially if they're so willing to be allies.
He put an arm on her shoulder, "If we get Arianna, then we get Finnick, Mags, and Johanna by association. It honestly makes sense."
~~~~~~`
"Well, sweetheart, you got your pick of the litter." Haymitch folds his hands giving their duo a smile.
"I want Arianna."
The President's Daughter
Character: Finnick Odair
Requested: No
Type: Angst/Fluff
Summary: Arianna Flemings-Snow, the adopted daughter of Coriolanus Snow, bravely volunteers for the 75th Annual Hunger Games. Yet, her courage comes at the cost of confronting not only the repercussions of re-entering the deadly arena but also the profound challenge of sharing it with the man she passionately loves.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
“Finnick Odair, right?”
Haymitch nods points towards the screen, “ Yes, he won his games at fourteen. Youngest ever. Extremely humble.”
“You’re kidding right?” He looked like the most narcissistic show off known to man. His stance. His waves. His stupid smirk. He looked as if he were happy to be returning.
“Yes I’m kidding. He’s a...” Haymitch dramatically flips his hair” …peacock. A total preener but he’s the Capitol darling. They love him here. Charming , smart, and very skilled at combat—especially in water.”
Peta leans forward glancing at the screen, “What about weaknesses?”
“Well two. First Mags.” A frail looking wrinkly woman pops on the screen. “ She volunteered for Annie. Mags was his mentor and basically raised him. If he’s trying to protect her in any way it exposes him.”
Katniss stares at the screen seeing the women bravely volunteer for the young girl in hysterics, “A guy like that has to know she’s not going to make it. I bet when it really comes down to it, he won’t protect her.
Sadness flashes through Haymitch’s eyes, “Well Katniss,  I just hope when she goes…she goes quickly. She’s actually a wonderful lady.”
The silence fills the room before Peta asks, “And his other weakness?”
Haymitch lightly smirks before passing  to the next district when a beautiful girl with hair as white as snow comes up. “ District 5. Arianna Flemings. Mostly known as...”
“President Snow’s daughter?” Katniss snaps her head to Haymitch. Eyes widened.
He tilts his head a bit. “Adopted. She won her games at fifteen. Everyone and I mean everyone fell in love with her. She was the purest of the pure. The cutest of the cute. And the most dangerous of the danger. After one of the tributes killed her district partner all hell broke loose and she murdered the last seven remaining tributes within two hours with one. singular. knife.”
Peta shook his head in disbelief, “If he adopted her then that means he has to have some sort of heart. And he’s letting her go back to the games?”
Haymitch holds out his hand signaling for the kid to stop talking, “Well, there were rumors about Snow not really adding Arianna’s name into the reaping; however, when her childhood friend was reaped she immediately volunteered. Flabbergasted everyone.” The video shows Arianna immediately protesting and volunteering the moment her friend’s name dropped. The horror on everyone’s face was telling how much the district loved her.
He cleared his throat and continued, “ I imagined Snow wasn't really happy about that. That’s what he gets for adopting a victor when he’s the leader of these games." He shrugs. "Arianna is very captivating. Even Snow’s heart had to have melt for that young girl. Took her right under his wing. Obviously she was treated like a victor but most importantly she was treated like a Capitol.”
“If his daughter is that important wouldn’t he know that during the games people will be targeting his daughter. Who wouldn’t if his daughter means that much to him.”
That’s when Haymtich shook his head, “ Because my dear little Katniss… A) he calls the shots. If you haven’t realized everything in the games are controlled by him and people that love her. He’ll be hovering over you all the entire time. B) She’s a skilled competitor. Again seven tributes dead in two hours by the hands of a 110 pound fifteen year old, hello people keep up. Since then she’s never eased on her training. Obviously she’s bound to have enemies because of her father so she never stopped. Really good using her resources, excellent with knives, basically insanely dangerous. C) Finnick Odair. Both basically spent the last nine years together. Everyone thinks they’re together, but are keeping it hidden because of her father. I’m sure the President feels a lot better having Finnick with her knowing that he would risk his entire life for her. However don’t think it’ll make it easy to kill them. While you two are faking it. They—“ He points to the screen. “Are real. You hurt her and not only will you have Snow on your asses, but a trident in your chest. You hurt him and you’d have knives shoved up every hole in your body. They’re each other’s weaknesses but also strengths. They are who you want to be allies with. I’m serious Katniss don’t mess this up.”
~~~~~~~
Arianna couldn’t breathe in her dress. It’s not that it’s too tight (which it actually is), but more-so that she’s again back to where she was those many years ago.
“Breathe. Breathe. Breathe” She lightly whispers under her breath while entering to where all the other Victors were.  She was wearing a beautiful white gown with red lace at the top. Her red make-up contrasting her snow-white features.
“Isn’t it Snow’s precious girl. Miss Flemings never thought I would have to see you back in the games.” She turns around and sees Gloss from Tribute 1.
“You and me both. Don’t you look as charming as ever.” She smiles graciously wrapping her arms around her friend. “Where’s Cash?”
He smiles and points behind him, “Getting the gang back together. Should we be expecting you to join us?”
Her eyes immediately try to find the one person she truly wanted to ally with. “Gloss I would love to, but I have to check with Finnick. You know wherever he goes I go.”
He nods understanding completely, “And I admire your loyalty. Please try to get him on our side. We really don’t want to have to go against either of you.”
She nods smiling softly at the man, “Speaking of Finnick do you know where he might be. He wasn’t with Mags.”
The guy pointed behind her making her turn, “I guess he’s already trying to get the Girl on Fire on his side…without telling you?”
Arianna lightly hit him, “Glossy I love you, but I hope you weren’t trying to turn me against Finnick. Like you said before I am extremely loyal.”
He chuckles before backing away, “ Didn’t hurt to try. Now go to lover boy, but please remember what I said.”
She watches him go back to the Career pack and lightly waves at them before heading towards the duo.
“Then how do people pay for the pleasure of your company?” If only she knew the truth.
She sees him lean forward, making the Girl on Fire look uncomfortable  “With secrets”
Arianna thought it was the perfect time to break the tension especially since she wanted to talk to the golden boy before they had to parade themselves. “Nicky, we went over this so many times, you should never try to get with an engaged woman. Very inappropriate.” She wraps her arm his waist looking up at him. His smirk turned into a genuine smile.
He immediately looked down at the young girl smirking, “Arianna, you know I’d never try to get with anyone else but you.”
She lightly smacks his chest before looking over the girl staring curiously at the duo, “ Arianna Flemings.” She sticks her hand out smiling as Katniss took it. “ My niece absolutely loves you. She always wanted to meet you, my father never really introduced us, but you know how he is. You look absolutely beautiful by the way.”
Katniss couldn’t help but like the girl in front of her. Though the fact that she is someone that Snow cares about keeps nagging at her, the girl alone seems genuine. “I’m Katniss. I saw your games. Very impressive.” Her curt response made Arianna look at Finnick then back at the girl.
“Thank you and your game was also very impressive.” She smiles and then turns her attention to the man next to her. “Nicky, can I talk to you over there please?”
His gaze went to his angel and then to the girl who’s staring at them, “I’ll be there in a second need to wrap up my introduction to the Girl on Fire.”
Arianna rolled her eyes playfully before turning to Katniss, “It was really nice to meet you.”
The two stared as Arianna glides away elegantly. Finnick leans towards the girl with a smile, “She is off limits. You hurt her and I’ll gladly pay back the favor with your fiancé while you watch and die an agonizing death. Got that? ” Before she can answer he backs away going to find his girl.
He finally sees her talking to her district partner and then shoos him away. "Nicky? Did you really had to use that name? "
Her gaze filled with mischief yet care had him wrapped around her finger, "There's Nick, Nickey, Finnley, Finnerson, Fin-"
"Okay we get it, but there's only one name I like hearing you call me." He leans closer.
"Mon amour" She smirks before lightly pushing him back. "That's only reserved when we aren't about to dive head first into our deaths."
His smile drops, " You are not dying. Snow will not allow it and neither will I."
She caresses his face, "Finnick these are how the games are. Though my father cares for me he wants to destroy the girl even more."
He lightly glares at the girl, gripping her waist a bit tighter. " Why did you have to volunteer dammit. Everything was going to be fine, but you just had to volunteer. Why on earth did you even do that?"
She glances around noticing that people are getting on their carriage to start the parade. " I had to, love. But it's okay. I promise you, it will be okay."
The sincerity in her eyes truly made him believe it was all going to be fine even though his heart knew it wasn't.
They finally break eye contact when her partner tells her that the parade is about to start. "Better get on your carriage Snow White looks like Prince Charming needs you."
She kisses him on the cheek, "I'm not into Princes, I prefer fishermen" winking and getting on her carriage.
They both know that no matter what happens in the ring. Capitol be dam. Districts be dam. Both their goal is to protect one another no matter what the cost is.
My Girls (S.R)
Character: Spencer Reid
Requested: No
Type: Angst/Fluff
Summary: In the weeks leading up to his enrollment in the FBI Academy, Spencer Reid was meant to marry Eleanor Mae Black. However, on the day of their wedding, he inexplicably disappeared, leaving her stranded in her wedding dress at the tender age of 21. Fast forward six years and a haunting case involving his parents propel him back to Las Vegas, unexpectedly leading him to his mother's doorstep. Little did he know that this reunion would open Pandora's box of mysteries, leaving him with more questions than answers.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
2002
Eleanor Mae Black never would’ve thought life could be this good. God has given her the one thing she always wanted. True love.
She never would’ve thought moving to Las Vegas would change her life the way it had.
At the age of seven, she moved with her family to Las Vegas from New Orleans and one day as she was riding her bike she saw a boy maybe the same age as her, reading a book at the edge of the sidewalk.
Since she recently moved, she didn’t have many friends. She was rather lonely and she thought the boy was too so she slowly rode her bike towards him.
As she made it in front of him she noticed him tense a bit, “Hi. I’m Eleanor most people call me Mae”
The boy cowered a bit before he slowly looked up while pushing his glasses back in place. “I’m Spencer.”
She smiled at the bushy-haired boy. “Nice to meet you, Spencer. My family moved a few days ago from Louisiana and I notice you come to read outside sometimes.” She was met with silence but he nodded his head acknowledging her observation. “What are you doing reading out here?”
He seemed like he was contemplating leaving before she could do anything to him. ‘She looks nice though.’  His mind yelled at him to leave, but something in his heart told him to stay.
He took a soft breath in, “My mom said I should get some sun. She told me I was too pale and that if I’m going to read at least go outside.”
She nodded and then pointed at the big book he was reading. There was no way she was even close to reading at his level. “What are you reading?”
He showed her the cover, “Lord of the Flies. It’s this book about a group of boys deserted on an island and left to fend for themselves.”
He thought she would call him a nerd and then leave like they all did, but to his surprise, she sat down next to him.
“Read to me?”
From that day forward, they were always together. Though it was a bit difficult when he went off to college in California when she was still in middle school they still made it work. Phone calls and letters were their saving grace.
He finally mustered the confidence to ask her out when they were both 15 with a series of letters. He would travel back as much as he could to see her and they would talk every day until on her 18th birthday he popped the question which is how they ended up at this very moment.
Eleanor could hear the ruckus outside the church as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Everything was running so smoothly. The sun was shining, the local florist gifted her the prettiest bouquet she’s ever seen, and the town seemed to gather around to celebrate their residential genius and the town’s sunshine.
“Let’s put the veil on.” Her maid of honor squealed as her sister was jumping up at down.
She couldn’t help tears flooding her eyes. It was almost time. She couldn’t wait to see Spencer in his tuxedo at the end of the aisle. She’s been ready for this moment since the second he started reading the Lord of the Flies to her that day.
She turned away from the mirror her smile growing bigger by the second. Anyone and everyone could tell how happy she was. How in love she was. She was radiating everything she was feeling and nobody could help but match her smile. “I’m getting married!” She yelled as the girls screamed in excitement.
“Ladies you all look absolutely radiant.” They turned to see the best man, Ethan. He was Spencer’s closest friend, and though they competed in everything he couldn’t miss the chance to see his friend happy with the girl he loved.” Mae, you look stunning. Honestly, Spencer is so lucky to have you.”
She couldn’t help but smile at her future husband’s name, “Thank you and who knows maybe soon you and my sister can tie the knot.” She smirked as both he and her sister blushed.
“Maybe if we wait long enough for your kid, she can be the flower girl.” He joked making her lightly shove him. He then looked at her sister and cousin before motioning them outside. “Lena, Marissa. Can I talk to you guys for a second?”
The two girls nodded. “Of course.” Her sister turned to Jazz, Mae’s best friend.” Jazz, can you just touch up her lipstick? Just a little more color.”
Jazz softly pushed her friend into her chair to put the lipstick on. For some reason, Mae’s eyes seemed to wander toward her group of friends outside. “Do you think everything’s okay?”
Jazz rolled her eyes at her friend puckering her lips, “Oh yeah. Honey, everything’s fine. This is your special day. Knowing Spencer he probably didn’t want to gel back his hair.”
Mae chuckled thinking about the conversation she had with Spencer about his hair. She swore she didn’t care about how he wore it as long as he was happy, but Spencer told her he would gel it back for her.
She still couldn’t look away from people outside. Her sister looked back at her before looking away as quickly as possible. For some reason, Mae’s heart dropped. After some time her sister walked back towards her.
The look on Lena’s face did not ease Mae’s worries at all. “Lena, what is it?” Her mind went to her fiancee. “Is Spencer okay?”
A hint of anger flared in Lena’s eyes, “Spencer’s fine.” For some reason, Mae still didn’t feel any relief. “He’s fine. He’s just...” Lena could already feel her little sister’s heartbreaking right before her eyes. “He’s not coming. Mae...I’m so sorry.”
The words struck her like a bolt of lightning, and for a moment, the world seemed to spin around her. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring the reflection of the radiant bride in the mirror. She clutched her bouquet tightly, desperately hoping that this was all a terrible mistake.
"What?" Mae managed to whisper, her voice trembling with pain.
Lena’s eyes brimmed with unshed tears, and she gently took Mae's hand in hers. “ I'm so sorry. We’re here for you. We will always be here for you."
A torrent of emotions overwhelmed her—a mixture of anger, sadness, and disbelief. She had thought they were inseparable, that their love was unbreakable. But now, all she was left with was a shattered heart and a wedding dress that felt like a heavy burden.
The bridesmaid tried to console her, but Mae's world had collapsed around her, and nothing could ease the pain she felt at that moment. Every plan they had made, every dream they had shared, had evaporated into thin air. She was supposed to move with him to Virginia for him to start his FBI training. She was ready to start a new life with him.
As her loved ones gathered around her, offering comfort and support, Mae felt like a ghost, disconnected from her own wedding day. She wanted to disappear, to escape the cruel reality that had replaced her fairytale.
Present Day (Six years later)
Something was bothering Spencer. It was something he couldn’t shake away. His nightmares seemed weirdly real as if they were a memory. The case of Riley Jenkins wasn’t making any sense except for the fact that his parents were somehow involved hence why he’s currently paying a visit to his mother.
The receptionist told him she was currently with some visitors which made him a bit concerned. As he walked in he could see a woman and a little girl sitting with his mother. The little girl seemed to be drawing as his mother seemingly was laughing at something the lady was saying. As he got closer he started recognizing the lady’s voice.
“Crash?” His mom called out shocked. The lady seemed to freeze. The little girl was swinging her feet still drawing.
“Sorry to interrupt. Hi Mom.” He said before giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and then standing up not knowing what to do.
“I thought you were on  your way back to Virginia?” Diana was looking between Eleanor and Spencer.
He still couldn’t see Mae’s face as she was still not looking up at him. He coughed, Um yeah. There was something that wouldn’t get out of my head so I came back.”
Eleanor couldn’t believe it. She didn’t want to believe that after all these years there he was. The one who she was supposed to marry. The love of her life. The father of her child was just standing right next to her after six long years.
The second Diana said his nickname, she froze. How could she not? He wasn’t supposed to be there. She specifically planned her visiting day until after he left. Though her body was frozen her mind was going all over the place.
The room was filled with noise but it sounded distant in her ears. The three of them were all still until Eleanor abruptly got up quickly. “Pres let’s go. Say your goodbyes.”
She gave Diana a quick hug and quickly shoved Presley’s coloring book and crayons into her bag. Spencer Reid, still staring at the scene in front of him.”We will visit you soon, Diana okay? Call if you need anything.” As she turned towards the hallway, she realized someone was blocking it. She looked up and after six years she was staring right at the man who left her on her wedding day. “Excuse us.” She moved around him quickly pulling Presley towards the exit.
After a few moments, Spencer finally broke out of his trance and sat down in front of his mother who was staring at him the whole time. “I didn’t know you still spoke to her. Let alone her visit you.”
His mother blinked a few times before nodding, “She visits almost every day. She and Presley. They bring me pie.” She explained then pointed towards the container of pie she had in front of her. “I usually tell her when you’re visiting and she well...you know.”
He nods understanding completely. He left her stranded on their wedding day. Of course, she would try to avoid him as much as possible. After almost six years of dating, he left her as if she were nothing. But she wasn’t nothing she was everything. She was his everything. Which is why he had to leave. She couldn’t leave everything behind for him. He didn’t deserve her sacrifice.
Then he remembered the little girl drawing, “And the girl...she’s Mae’s?” His mother seemed to want to disappear.
“Presley...yes.” As she started seeing his mind start to draw conclusions she questioned, “I know you didn’t come here just to say hi. What’s on your mind?”
And though he knew that his mother was changing the topic, the topic of Mae had to wait. He has to finish this case before he gets to a new one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s been a few days on the case and as day goes on it seems like his parents had been a lot more involved than he wanted to admit.
“Hey, man. Come on we just woke up. Let’s get coffee before you start to get lost in your head. I think we’re about to pass a cafe.” Reid flinched as Morgan pulled him out of his thoughts. He nodded before staring out of the window. Though time has passed, everything seemed to be the exact same. Even the coffee shop Derek stopped in front of was the same.
The doorbell dinged as the three men walked through, and the smell of coffee hit their noses. They all sat at a booth waiting for the waitress to come and take their order.
After a few a familiar voice rang, “Good morning gentlemen what would you like to or--Spencer?”
The men looked up, and though Morgan was confused, Reid immediately tensed up knowing who it was.
“Lena...it’s nice to see you again.” He awkwardly smiled, not knowing if the lady heard of his return. Even if she did, he knew she wouldn’t have liked it.
“Wish I could say the same...” She then looked down at her notepad and back up at the two men in front of her. “What do you guys want?”
Morgan not liking how she was treating his friend raised his eyebrow, “The attitude is definitely not making me want to leave you a tip. So why don’t you change the attitude and try that again?”
Lena laughed before shoving the notepad in the pocket of her apron and getting in Morgan’s face. “And you think I need your tip, sir? I really don’t need money from a jackass and his little friends. Thank you very much.” She then went into the kitchen.
Before Morgan nor Rossi could ask, a man was walking towards them. He gave them a tight smile before pulling out a notepad and pen, “Sorry about Lena, she’s well, you know. Do you guys know what you want to order?”
Rossi nodded, “Could I get a dark coffee a little bit of cream and two spoonfuls of sugar, and a blueberry muffin.”
Morgan rolled his eyes, “I want an apology. She was rude and called me little. I’m anything but little.”
Ethan gave the guys a look, “Yeah, no-can-do. Anything else?” After some back and forth between Reid and Morgan, he finally let it go and gave Ethan his order. As the group received their food, the doorbell dinged again.
A light pair of footsteps filled the semi-quiet cafe. “Uncle Ethan!”
“Pres!” Ethan quickly placed the food and drinks down before kneeling and picking up his niece. “How are you, kiddo? Where’s your momma? ”
The little girl squealed as her uncle swings her around a bit, and then bell dinged again, “I swear on my life Ethan Alexander you drop her, I’ll shove ice down your pants again.”
“Um, excuse me, can I get some more milk, please?” The three of them snapped their heads toward the three men in the booths. Rossi didn’t realize that it wasn’t a  bright idea to have their attention on them well on one specifically.
Not wanting to leave Eleanor alone but having to he nodded and quickly left towards the kitchen after Eleanor gave him the okay. Spencer could see Eleanor sitting the little girl on the stool. His eyes didn’t leave them.
“Pretty boy, did you find yourself a pretty girl so soon? Was it love at first sight?” Morgan joked as he took a bite of his sandwich, not realizing the depth of his words.
Ethan came out and gave Rossi the milk before standing in front of Eleanor and Presley with Lena by his side. Lena and Ethan seemed to be staring at Reid quite a lot, and it doesn’t go unnoticed by Morgan who not understanding what was happening was getting quite annoyed by the servers.
“Yo, are you guys done staring at us?” he then looked straight at Lena, “Are you back to finally apologize?
Lena was already a few seconds away from exploding. “I’m not the one who needs to apologize. Right, Spencer?”
Morgan looked back at his friend raising his eyebrows. “Leave it, Morgan.”
Ethan walked up to the booth, “You don’t need to pay. It’s on the house. I’m sorry.” He then quickly pulled Lena back into the kitchen.
Reid stared at Eleanor, who was trying to wipe some juice that Presley spilled. He then decided enough was enough and stepped out of the booth towards the two girls.
As Eleanor finished cleaning, she heard someone clear their throat. She looked up and tensed up before looking at her daughter, who was also staring at the man. It felt like they were staring into each other’s eyes forever.”Can we talk?” He asked, noticing her slightly flinch. “...please?”
She looked behind him towards the two men who tried looking away when she turned her attention towards them. She nodded before getting the attention of the little girl staring at Spencer. “Hey sunshine why don’t you go to Aunt Lena okay? Ask her for the cupcake she promised you.”
Presley didn’t have to be told twice and immediately ran towards the kitchen. They had about three minutes before Lena realized why she made Presley go inside and raise havoc.
“She’s a cute one. I’m assuming she’s yours?” He asked, looking at her while she stared at her feet. Of course, she was hers. They looked identical except for the brown curly hair.
Eleanor coughed but nodded nonetheless.”Presley. And yes, she is. She’s my little sunshine..”
He nodded, not knowing what to say. “So, what did you want to talk about?” She crossed her arms, looking at him straight in the face.
He could tell the anger was quickly replacing the fear/shock she had. “I wanted to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry for everything, Mae. I…You didn’t deserve it. You didn’t deserve anything I did to you.” He rambled.
“It’s Elie.” That was all she responded. He was taken aback. “People don’t call me Mae anymore. I stopped using that nickname after the incident.”
“Ellie.”He tried it out. The nickname sounded so foreign to him. “Well, Ellie. I wish we could talk somewhere a lot better under different circumstances, but I truly apologize. You deserve the world.” He then looked down at his hands. “And I couldn’t give it to you.”
Tears started building up; everything she kept hidden away for years was surfacing. All the pain, the tears, the anger. “I didn’t want the world, Spencer. I wanted you.” She wiped the tears that surprisingly fell. “Then you left. No letter. No phone call. Nothing,” She sighed, trying to ground herself. “ Look, Spencer, there’s really nothing to talk about, okay? You apologized. Good for you. Please leave it at that.”
He saw the sadness swirling in her eyes. He didn’t know how to make it better. He knew he couldn’t make it better because he caused it. He caused the pain in her eyes. The pounding in her heart. The knife in her back. He caused it all. “I..I–”
She didn’t let him continue, “Leave it, Spencer. It’s done. You ended it. I accepted it. We all moved on.”
Before anyone could say anything, the kitchen doors burst open with Presley’s face full of frosting and her holding two cupcakes giggling like a madman.
“PRESLEY DIANA BLACK, GET YOUR LITTLE BEHIND BACK HERE, OR ELSE YOU’LL NEVER GET ANY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE,” Lena yelled out, half serious and half-jokingly. Though it did seem like a cute moment, there was one minor problem. Spencer heard Presley’s middle name. The one that matches his mother’s name.
Time froze, and though Lena and Presley were still going at it, it felt really quiet. Spencer started piecing everything together, and Eleanor’s fight or flight instinct came in.
She grabbed her purse from the counter and quickly went to grab Presley’s hand, “Presley come here!” She had to leave. There was no time to waste. She didn’t even spare her sister a second and immediately dashed towards the door. Spencer’s body moved faster than his brain, and he grabbed onto her wrist, which made her instantly swing her palm at him hitting him square in the face. “No. Spencer…just no.
He rubbed the side of his face and kneeled towards the little girl, curiously looking between her mom and the man in front of her. “How old are you, Presley?”
And before Eleanor could stop her, she answered, “I’m five. I’m turning six soon.”
The revelation struck him like a lightning bolt. As the pieces of the puzzle fell into place,
Spencer's heart sank, and he felt an overwhelming mixture of regret and responsibility. This was his child. He not only left the love of his life stranded, he also left a child without their father. While he was trying to process it, the two slipped from his hold and fled.
He could hear Ethan pulling his wife again towards the kitchen to calm her down. He stayed in the same spot until his friends were clasping his back, making him flinch hard.
“I know it’s none of our business, but we should finish this case before you start that situation,” He heard Rossi say. Spencer knew that was true. He hated that it was true, but so be it. He didn’t say anything. He just headed towards the car, slamming the door shut. He had a daughter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the case finished, he finds himself in his hotel room with his friends, drinking a beer. Though he was never a fan of alcohol, it’s been the most stressful days of his life, and wasn’t even over.
“So what’s the deal with you and the girl at the cafe don’t you dare say nothing, pretty boy, because it seemed like you lived a different life before you got to us. So spill.” Morgan sat comfortably on the bed, motioning him to get going with the story.
He took a swing of his beer and blinked a bit, “I was supposed to get married to her. We had everything planned out.” That was definitely not what Rossi nor Morgan expected. Both looked at each other and then back at Spencer, who was looking at the ceiling. “We’ve been together since we were fifteen, and I asked her to be my wife at eighteen. It felt right. It always felt right with her.” He chuckled a bit. “She was actually supposed to move to Quantico with me. She was willing to leave her whole life here to be with me. She was always my biggest fan, you know. She cheered me on when I was in high school at twelve. When I went to Caltech. When I graduated from Caltech and so on and so on. She was always willing to give up anything to make me feel good. She loves her family and her friends here. I needed an escape. My parents were separated, my mom was suffering, and I couldn’t help her, I was bullied almost every day by anyone and everyone. I needed to escape, not her. She was happy here, and who was I to take that away from her? So cowardly, I decided to get a ticket to Virginia the week prior to when we were supposed to leave. I was planning on telling her before the day, but she was so happy. We were so happy.”
Tears were slowly running down his face, “The moment Lena texted me that she was looking absolutely radiant in her wedding dress, I snapped. I couldn’t have her leave with me. And I know if I voiced any of my concerns, she would find a way to still get on the train with me. So I decided that I needed to leave. Leave this place. Leave my family. Leave her. And to this day, it was the worst pain I ever felt. She didn’t deserve any of it. She was–still is the most beautiful human being. She was my first friend and my only lover.”
The guys weren’t expecting him to spring all that out. It was a shock to them both. Rossi then tilted his head, “And the little girl? Don’t tell me that child is yours?” Reid gave him a look and nodded. “No fucking way.”
“I messed up. I messed up a lot.” He cried as Morgan pulled him into a hug.
“Reid, but you’re here now, okay? You’re here. They’re here. Find them. Talk to them and explain everything. Yes, you were being a dumbass, but you deserve to get a chance to get to know your child.”
Reid has done a lot of things in life. He lived through a lot, and he wasn’t even thirty, but one of the main things he only ever wanted was to have a family with Eleanor. He loved her more than the sun loved the sky.
He nodded and immediately pulled his phone out, “Garcia, I need you to give me the address of Eleanor Mae Black, please.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day he finds himself standing in front of the address sent to him. A beautiful white house, excluding a charm that captures the heart at first sight. Its quaint appearance contrasts the glitz and glamour of the nearby city, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling urban life. It was perfect, just like the girls residing there.
He felt like it was forever since he rang the doorbell until a light pair of footsteps ran towards the door and opened it. He was expecting it to be Eleanor, but he was met with the cutest little girl looking at him with a smile.
“You’re the man that my momma hit.” She smiled as if it were funny. He couldn’t help but chuckle a bit.
“You’re momma definitely knows how to smack the living daylights out of someone.” He then kneels down in front of her. “I’m Spencer Reid; nice to meet you.”
“I’m Presley Black.” Spencer smiled warmly as he gazed at the little girl, Presley. Her innocence and honesty were endearing.
 He shook her tiny hand gently, introducing himself once again. "It's very nice to meet you, Presley Black."
“Presley Diana Black, what have I told you about opening the door without grabbing me first?” She scolded before motioning her towards the kitchen. “Go, your breakfast is going to get cold.”
Presley giggled, her innocence evident, and obediently scurried to the kitchen. Eleanor turned her attention back to Spencer, her expression now more guarded. She wiped her hands on her pants and looked up. “What are you doing here, Spencer?
“Well, for obvious reasons, I think we need to talk.” He motioned to where Presley was once standing.
Though Eleanor never really wanted to have this discussion with him, she knew it was only a matter of time. She nodded before letting him come inside.
“I’m really going to need a glass of wine for this.” She muttered, walking into the kitchen with Spencer on her tail. Before he could say anything about drinking before 11am, he stood quiet at the doorway of the kitchen as Eleanor poured herself a glass of wine, and Presley added more syrup to her pancakes. It felt very domestic.
As Eleanor took a sip, she sighed,” Sunshine, you will literally be eating syrup with a side of pancakes.” Grabbing the syrup from her sticky hands and quickly wiping her. She then kneeled down, caressing her daughter’s face. “Why don’t you go to the living room and eat today? Watch some tv and just relax before I take you to Aunt Lena’s. Okay, darling?”
The little girl nodded happily before grabbing her plate and running towards the living room. Eleanor threw the wipe to the side, motioned Spencer to sit at the table, and grabbed her wine.
As he sat down, he started to twiddle his fingers. “She seems like a really great kid Mae. Really happy.”
She rolled her eyes at the nickname, taking a gulp of her cup, “She is really happy. No matter what happens, she always beams. My little sunshine.”
He couldn’t help but smile a bit.”I used to call you my little sunshine…always beaming.”Eleanor looked at him. “You still are.”
She finished her drink before staring at Spencer,” We’re not here to talk about me. You want to talk about Presley. What do you want to know?”
“She’s mine, right? I mean, she has to be.” He then looked down at his hands. “When did you find out.”
“About two weeks after our supposed wedding date.” She sighed, remembering how hard she cried that day. “I wanted to contact you, but you never responded to anyone’s texts or calls. So I gave up before I could get any more hurt.”
“"I'm sorry for leaving you at the altar," he continued softly. "I was stupid. So stupid, but that doesn't excuse the pain I caused you. I've carried the weight of that decision for years. And now, seeing you both here, I can't help but wonder about the time we lost and the choices I made." Eleanor's expression softened as she listened to him, and he could see the flicker of emotions in her eyes.
"It's been a long time, Spencer. A lot has happened since then," she said quietly. "It hurt a shut ton, I won’t lie. You were the love of my life Spencer. I would’ve done everything and anything for you. But we deserve better. We deserve better than someone who ultimately ends up leaving.” She sighed again before staring him straight in the eyes. “Presley deserves to know her father, but I need you to understand that being a part of her life is not something to take lightly. She's my world, and I won't let anything hurt her."
"I understand," he replied earnestly. "I want to get to know her, to be a part of her life, if you'll let me. I've learned a lot over the years and want to make things right." Eleanor studied his face for a moment, searching for sincerity, and seemed to find it. After a moment of contemplation, she nodded. "All right, Spencer. You get this one chance. But I swear on my life you leave her, and that’s the last thing you’ll ever do." Spencer nodded gratefully, feeling a mixture of relief and hope.
They sat in silence for a bit. Both trying to understand what just happened. He couldn’t help but look at her and still see the girl he fell in love with. She was just as breathtaking as ever, “So, how have you been?”
Eleanor gave him a soft laugh,” It’s been pretty good. Presley and I…we made a life for ourselves. We purchased the cafe a few years back with Ethan and Lena. I graduated from the University of Nevada two years ago. Been a nurse at the Summerlin Hospital since.”
He smiled at her.” I’m really proud of you, Eleanor Mae. Not many people can do what you did.”
She nodded before pouring herself another cup of wine. “Well, all thanks to the gang and your mother. Ethan, Jazz, and Lena were amazing. Helped out with Presley without a single complaint. So was your mom. Diana was there every step of the way.”
“She didn’t tell me anything about you or Presley. It honestly amazes me she was able to hold onto that for so many years.” He chuckled.
“Diana’s very sneaky. One of the many things I love about her.”
“You named her after my mother…thank you” She sipped again before smiling.
“Diana is a beautiful human being. The best of all of us. It was an honor naming that little girl like the woman I always admired.” Silence took place again.“So when do you leave? I’m assuming you’ll have to go back to Virginia soon?”
He nodded, “Yeah, it seems I extended my stay a bit too long.” He scratched the back of his neck before asking, “Would you like to come with me?” Eleanor’s eyes were about to pop out of her head.”You and Presley. I want to get to know her and would love to stay longer, but I used a lot of my sick days to work on this case here. And it’s the summer, so Presley is not in school, and I know you wouldn’t want to leave Presley alone with me, which I totally understand, and–”
“I can’t just drop everything to go with you, Spencer. Maybe all those years ago, yes, but right now? I’m sorry, Spencer; maybe we can work something else out.” He knew it was far-fetched, but he needed to try.
“How about a week every month you come to Virginia, and I come back here?” He was pleading really hard, and she knew that.
“Spencer, your line of work takes you everywhere. I don’t expect you to be able to always visit Presley.”
“Then how can we make it work? I need to get to know her. She’s also my child Eleanor. We need to make something work here, and I’m trying.” Eleanor couldn't help but admire Spencer's determination and sincere desire to be a part of Presley's life.
She knew he was right – Presley deserved to know her father, and they needed to find a way to make it work.
As she gazed at him, she saw the same young man she fell in love with all those years ago, and a part of her heart softened. "I know it's complicated," she said, her voice filled with vulnerability and hope. "Presley is my priority, and I won't let anything disrupt her life. But I also want her to have a relationship with her father." Spencer nodded, understanding the weight of the situation.
"I respect that, Mae. I promise I'll never push you or Presley into something you're uncomfortable with. I just want a chance to be a part of her life, to be her dad." Eleanor took a deep breath, contemplating the possibilities.
"Okay, let's try the week-every-month arrangement," she said, surprising herself with her openness to the idea. "Presley deserves to know you, and I think this could be a good way to start."
Spencer's face lit up with gratitude, and he couldn't hide the excitement in his voice. "Thank you, Eleanor. You don't know how much this means to me."
"We'll take it one step at a time," she replied, trying to remain pragmatic. "Presley is a bright and curious little girl, and she'll need time to get to know you too."
"I understand," Spencer said, a mix of emotions coursing through him – joy, anticipation, and nervousness. "I promise to be patient and respect your boundaries. I just want to build a relationship with my daughter." Eleanor smiled warmly at him, her heart softening even more.
"Then let's make this work, for Presley's sake."
Over the next few days, Spencer spent time getting to know Presley. They went to the park together, played games, and shared stories. Presley's eyes sparkled with happiness, and Eleanor couldn't help but see the resemblance between father and daughter.
Spencer was genuinely interested in Presley's life and eagerly listened to every detail she shared. As the week came to an end, Spencer prepared to return to Virginia, but his heart felt heavier than he expected. Saying goodbye to Presley was harder than he imagined, but he knew this was the beginning of their journey together.
“But why do you have to go, Spencer?” Presley’s bottom lip quivered. Though she is starting to accept Spencer as her father, she still refers to him by his name. It made Spencer sad, but he completely understood why.
He kneeled down, dropping his bags next to him, “Sunshine, I have to go back to work, but I promise I’ll bring you back something cool, okay?” Presley launched herself at him hugging him really hard. Spencer’s heart leaped from his chest as he wrapped his arms tighter around her. He never felt a love like this. Spencer Reid is wrapped around her little finger, and he’s completely okay with it.l “I’ll be back before you know it, okay?” Presley nodded, letting go of him. He stood up and then turned to Eleanor. He gave a smile before turning to walk away.
“Hey, Spence?” Eleanor hugged him tightly before he could even realize what was happening. "Thank you for coming into our lives, Spencer. I'm glad Presley has a chance to know her father." He smiled, holding back tears.
"And I'm grateful for this opportunity. I promise I'll be back in a month, and we'll create more memories together." As Spencer walked away, Eleanor watched him with a mix of emotions. It was a whirlwind of a few weeks, and she knew there would be challenges ahead, but she was willing to take the risk for Presley's happiness.
And on top of that, somehow and someway, Eleanor’s heart still fluttered whenever Spencer Reid was around.
His Angel (Regulus Black)
Character: Regulus Black Requested: No Type: Angst/Fluff
Summary: Regulus is engaged to a fellow pure-blood Slytherin; the only people who know are other Slytherins.  One day the Marauders think it would be funny to mess with his fiancee. They soon regret it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
The environment was warm though everywhere she looked, it was dark. Astoria did very much enjoy going over to the Black's Manor. Walburga and Orion both approved of the young Slytherin and treated her as their own. Of course, if she were any other blood status, she wouldn't have been accepted.
But thankfully, that wasn't the case.
Astoria comes from a long line of rich and powerful pure-blood Slytherins. The Vadieux. Besides the Gaunts and Blacks, the Vadieux was wizarding royalty. Everyone worshipped the ground they walked on, especially the oldest Vadieux daughter--Astoria.
She was beautiful. Her charcoal shoulder length curled hair brought out her porcelain skin and bright green eyes. She was breathtaking. Every girl wanted to be her, and every guy wanted to be with her.
Guys from every house tried to win the fifth year Slytherin, but no luck. From first years to seventh years from Hufflepuff to even Gryffindor, all the bachelors tried, and every time, she shut them down.
There was only one boy she would ever accept, and it was her best friend.
"Your father has been asking for your presence at the dining hall. I took the pleasure to be the one to call for you." Speaking of the devil and he shall appear.
Astoria looked up from the book she's been staring at for the last few minutes. She couldn't help but smile at the young boy at her door, "Regulus, I didn't know you arrived. Salazar, my parents, will murder me."
Regulus chuckled at the distressed girl putting on her heels and patting down her dress. She then looked up at Regulus and twirled, "How do I look?"
His eyes gleamed at the beautiful girl in front of him. Since they were little, they used to always hang out. They were each other's best friends.
They went through thick and thin together. He adores her. She was the one who was there after Sirius left. She listened to his cries, wiped his tears, and made his days better.
She was his angel.
Her black dress hugged her curves in the best way. Her curly hair was bouncing around while her bright green eyes sparkled through the dim lights. She looks beautiful.
"You look like an angel. My angel." She looked up at him smiling brightly. His words made her heart flutter. She then hugged him real tight. His arms instantly went around hers tightly. They both sighed in content.
Sadly knowing their parents were both waiting downstairs, he reluctantly pulled back, "Not that I don't enjoy having you in my arms, angel, but our parents will probably have our heads if we don't go down in this instant."
She nodded, knowing it was true. She then pecked his cheek, "By the way, you look very dashing. Who knew the noble Regulus Black could clean up so well?"
He jokingly rolled his eyes and held his arm out for her to wrap hers around. They both made their way downstairs to see her house-elf  Minnie waiting.
"Master was telling Minnie to wait for young Mister Black and Miss Astoria. Everyone is at the dining table. Minnie can accompany you to the dining hall." She then walked quickly towards the dining room. The door opened, and her eyes widen in shock. She thought it would be a small dinner, not one including the families of every Slytherin known to man.
"Regulus, thank you, my boy, for bringing Astoria down. Minnie, you can go and start serving the dinner." Her father's voice boomed throughout the room.
Regulus gave him a charming smile, "Of course, Mr.Vadieux." Then they both took their seat next to their family. Of course, Regulus had to be a bit extra and pull her seat out and push her in, then getting to his seat.
Everyone ate in silence once the house-elves served the food thankfully, Astoria was sat with one of her friends from Hogwarts and was chatting until her father cleared his throat, making everyone look up at him.
"I'm sure plenty of you are confused on why we called for a short noticed dinner for everyone. My wife and I were too excited to keep the secret for much longer. Orion, my friend, would you like to do the honors?" She could see her father gleaming from ear to ear. She looked at Regulus, giving him a confused look, only for him to quickly look to the ground.
"Well, I'm proud to announce that there will be a new union." Whispers broke out. Everyone except for the Blacks and her parents looked confused. "The union of my son, Regulus Arcturus Black, and the lovely Astoria Nova Vadieux." Every pure-blood family claps loudly. Astoria's eyes widened at her name. She blinked a few times trying to assimilate what she just heard.
She was just fifteen. She couldn't already be betrothed. She knew it was coming, but she didn't think it was going to happen that soon. Albeit it could have been someone much older and much worst.
She tried to get Regulus's attention but it seemed as if he was trying to avoid it. Did he already know beforehand about the union? No he couldn't have, Regulus would've told her.
She jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder, it was her future father-in-law.
"My dear Walburga and I always thought of you as a Black and now you finally will be. Isn't this magnificent?" He boasted causing everyone to murmur in agreement.
"Of course Mr. Black, may I just ask...uh-when will the wedding take place?" The murmurs stopped.
"Well since you become of age around October of your seventh-year, you will get married during Christmas break of that year. Would that be a problem?" She knew that question was moreso to see if she was eager to get married.
Though she didn't like the idea of it she nodded faking a smile, "Of course Mr.Black. I was just wondering since that year would be NEWTS and I would love to plan my wedding."
He seemed to buy it and gave her a smile as Walburga pulled her into a hug. Everyone congratulated her and after a couple of hours it was only her family and the Blacks.
She hasn't spoken to Regulus since the moment they entered the dining hall. It seemed like he was avoiding her until he finally got the courage to grab her hand and drag her outside of the dining hall as their families were talking.
They entered the library that was next to their parents and sat down next to each other. Astoria didn't know how to start it but she did have questions she needed answers.
She looked up at him and muttered, "Did you know?" He stared at her for what seemed like forever until he nodded slowly looking back down to his feet. She could feel the anger coursing through her body. "And why did you not tell me of it? Did you think it was not important enough to tell your best friend that she will be your future wife at the tender age of seventeen?!
He grabbed her hand lightly making her shut up, "I did not want to scare you. I know that you were dreading the person that your parents were going to pick and I did not want you to think any less of me.
She gave him a look, "Did you really think I would think less of you? It is an arranged marriage! Neither of us has a choice in this. If you think I would have been mad at you because you are my betrothed then you do not know me at all." She poked him in the chest. "I am only mad that you knew of this information and did not utter a single word to me. How long have you known?"
"A couple months now." She hit his arm in annoyance.
"How dare you Regulus Arcturus Black? How dare you keep this a secret from me for this long? You've seen me weep for my life because I thought my parents were going to give me Lucius and you knew it was you this whole time?" She hit him again in the arm. When she went to do it again he grasped her wrist hard enough to stop her from hitting him, but softly enough to not bruise her.
"Bloody hell Angel can you stop whacking me for a bloody second and let me explain." Once he felt like she calmed down he let her wrist go. "My parents told me a few months ago. My mother knew we were close so she fought a lot for this union so did our father. Your parents were choosing between Lucius and I. Since your parents saw how close we are they allowed our engagement to happen. Thank Merlin, I don't know what I would've done if you became a Malfoy."
She whacked him again, "Just as bad as being a Black."
He rolled his eyes and then they both sat in a comfortable silence. "Are you okay with this?" She looked up at him confused. He cleared his throat. "Are you okay with marrying me?"
She could tell from his expression that he was nervous for her answer. She could tell that this moment could alter both of their future.  Was she okay with it? She knows it could've been so much worst. She just wished she had more time.
"Reg..." She lightly caressed the side of his face. "You know how I feel for you. I bloody adore you and you know that. Of course I'm okay with marrying you. I just wished we had more time and that this..." She waved a hand between the both of them. "...wouldn't be forced."
He lifted her face towards his, "This wasn't forced Angel. Sure the timing is a bit rushed but we both knew we were going to end up with each other. Well at least I knew..."He gave her a sheepish look, "More so I hoped we would."
She quirked an eyebrow, "What are you trying to say?"
He gave her a sigh and went to retrieve something from his pocket. It was green velvet box. Her eyes widened even more when he opened it. It was a beautiful silver ring with diamonds all over the band. Embedded in the center surrounded by diamonds was a huge bright green emerald that screamed Slytherin. It was the most beautiful ring Astoria ever laid her eyes on.
He gently took it out of the box and expected it, "I got this ring a  month after I knew of our union. If you can't tell I'm very pleased that you are my fiancee or well soon to be and I'm very happy that you will be my future wife. You are the only person that gives my life meaning. In all of our years of knowing each other you have never left me. You were always there even when I thought I wanted to be alone. You never left me and you do not understand how much that means to me. I'm not very good at expressing my emotions,"
She snorted at his comment making him give her a pointed look. "What I'm trying to say is that I liked you the moment you shared with me your fear of the ocean to make me feel better of my fear of birds. And I fell in love with you the moment you slapped Sirius in the face last year to avenge me. I hoped to Merlin that I would be the one your parents chose. I would not know what I would've done if you were in the hands of Malfoy."
He took a breath and looked up at her. Her beautiful green eyes were overwhelmed with tears. Her heart was soaring. "Astoria Nova Vadieux, the one person my heart has and will only ever beat for, I know this seems rushed, but our connection is so much stronger than friendship and I know you feel the same. I promise  you my sweet and pure angel, that I will protect you, stand by you, be there for you, love you until my last dying breath and even then Merlin himself would not be able to stop me from continuing that promise. Astoria, my angel, will you make me the happiest wizard in the whole galaxy and marry me?"
Tears fell from her eyes and she nodded throwing herself at him. Arms secured around each other. She couldn't care less about the ring all she wanted was to be in Regulus' arms for as long as possible. His words made the love she had for him sky rocket. She knew their connection was stronger then just friendship, it was that neither of them had the bravery to say something. They weren't Gryffindors.
Once they pulled back he wiped her tears, "Bloody hell angel how do you still look beautiful when your're crying?" She laughs as he lightly puts the ring on her finger. They both stared at her finger then she felt fingers below her chin. She didn't know they were both leaning towards one another until their nose were touching. "I really want to kiss you." He whispers looking at her lips and then back at her. "May I? May I kiss you?" She nods, but that wasn't the answer he was looking for. "Words Angel. I need to hear you say it. "
"Yes..."She whispered. He gave her a small smile before finally kissing her. Time stopped. It was only them two. Though the engagement did come in a rush it did not stop fireworks that erupted the moment the ringer slid on her finger or the very moment where his lips landed on hers for the first time.
They both pulled away smiling at each other, "Wow."

Astoria was walking down the halls of Hogwarts with her friend Lucinda and her other friend Marney. They decided to have a girls day that Saturday and have a picnic by the Great Lake. Though she was a bit hesitant to go her friends reassured her that they would have their picnic far enough to not scare her, but to enjoy the scenery.
After walking a good distant they placed their blanket down and their snacks out on the ground.
"How's your engagement with Regulus going?" Her friend asked and she smiled.
"It's perfect. I can't believe how much I adore him. He literally is the one person I want to be with for the rest of my life. I'm not going to lie I was a bit scared that when we arrived here that he might be cold towards me since he has a reputation to live by, but he is so sweet. Merlin blessed me with someone as perfect as my Regulus." The girls awed at their blushing friend. They were happy that their youngest friend was happy. They were betting on their relationship for the longest and were happy to know that they were doing splendid.
Unbeknownst to the girls, four boys were watching their every move.
"Guys I don't think this is a good idea." Remus chimes looking at the three smirking boys. "Padfoot you can't actually believe this will end well? She's your brother's  fiancee."
Sirius shrugs, "I'm sure it's an arrange marriage and we all know those are loveless. I'm sure he won't mind plus it's just for fun."
"Yeah Moony lighten up. Mates, you ready?" The two other boys nodded as Remus just sat down giving up on stopping them.
"Accio wands." Peter whispered and all of their wands were in his hand in a matter of seconds. He smiled as James patted him on the back.
Fortunely for them, the girls did not realize their wands were missing because they were talking and eating.
"Wormtail go and gather some people and hurry back show starts in five minutes." James calls out making the boy nod and run off.
After a few minutes the boys sees a group of people following Peter. He's running down towards them with his thumbs up.
"Guys I really don't think this is a good ide-"
"Shh Moony. Three...two...one..." James counts down as Remus shakes his head.
Sirius points his wand to the girls and whispers, "Oppugno"
The little flock of birds were speeding like a hail of bullets towards the girls, who just realized that the birds were heading directly at them.
The girls yelped and covered their faces with their hands, but the birds attacked, pecking and clawing at every bit of flesh they could reach.
They were nipping at their robes, their hair, and any skin they could find. The girls were screaming and all they could hear was the laughing of their fellow peers because Peter was smart enough to not tell the Slytherins of their certain plan. Astoria tried to find her wand but she couldn't see it anywhere.
"Luci, where the bloody hell did you put the wands." She screamed grabbing the blanket and whacking some of them off.
"If I bloody knew I would've stopped these birds." Her friend screamed back trying to get the birds off her.
The crowd behind them started laughing really hard at the struggling Slytherins. Though they were the nicest of the bunch they were Slytherins after all.
The birds seemed to have a liking towards Astoria and kept picking harder at her than the other two. She tried to run, but to her luck, she ran closer and closer to the lake until she tripped and fell into the water.
All Astoria felt was panic.
Drowning was her biggest fear. That's how she lost her youngest brother. Her little brother was unattended for a mere second and he made his way to the backyard and fell right in. The only person who saw was Astoria and at the time she was five and tried her best to swim to him, but to no avail. If her mother didn't make it as soon as she did she would've lost both her son and her daughter.
Since then she refused to go anywhere near a big body of water unless people were with her and they stayed a good amount of distance away from it.
She tried to swim, but she couldn't. The selkies weren't making it any easier. She feels sharp pains aimed at her head and pressure on her eyes. Her lungs are on fire. She starts panicking which only makes it worse. Then after a few seconds, she starts feeling tired. And then her eyes closed.
Everyone seemed to not notice that she wasn't coming up from the water until Severus Snape finally heard of the commotion and ran out of the Great Hall with some of his Slytherin friends.
"What's going on here?" He asked a Hufflepuff who was red from laughing.
He pointed towards what he saw was two girls getting attacked by birds, "Sirius cast a spell on those three Slytherins over there."
"Three? I only see two?" That comment made the group stop. Severus took out his wand and casted a spell to stop the birds from attacking the girls. He and the other Slytherins rushed to the two girls who fell from exhaustion on the ground.
The Marauders gave each other a look and ran over to the group.
"Lucinda? Marney? What are you doing here?" Severus asked looking at the girls who had their clothes ripped apart with small wounds caused by the birds.
"W-we wanted to have a girl's day with Astoria so we came here. Then out of nowhere birds came. So many birds." She started crying as Marney nodded and looked traumatized.
Severus' face paled, "Bloody hell if you're here....where is Astoria?" The two girls looked at each other and got up quickly. The girls froze when they saw the blanket they remembered she was using half in the lake. Severus looked at their eyesight and stared at the girls in fear. "Merlin...someone get Mrs. Pomfry now."
"Lucinda go get Regulus." The girl nodded running with the other Slytherins to get help. "What do we do Severus?"
"Do you need any hel-" Remus tried to ask but was ultimately interrupted by Severus glaring at the group.
"Do you really have the audacity to offer help when you caused all of this? Is this fun for you lot? Terrorizing innocent people?" He yelled finally having enough of their bullying ways. Everyone thought they were funny and it were all jokes but today proved it's not.
Marney grabbed onto Severus' arm, "That's not going to solve anything. She's still in there....and Severus I don't see any bubbles." She cried out.
Severus takes his robes and shoes off and jumps into the lake after taking a deep breath. Marney gasps and starts to follow suit but was stopped when James grabs a hold of her.
"I swear to Salazar I hope they expel each and every one of you for doing this. Who's bloody idea was it?" Marney demanded and they all pointed to Sirius. Her eyes grew wide.
"You? Out of all people you? She's going to be your bloody sister-in-law you git!" She slaps him hard across the face. "She's Regulus' fiancee. Did you not think of what he is going to do to you when he sees what you done? I bloody hope he murders your dimwitted arse."
She was about to slap him one more time when she hears more footsteps heading towards them.
"Where is she?" The rush voice of the one and only Regulus Black. Lucinda was running behind him. "Where the bloody hell is she?"
Regulus was a very reserved boy. The only times people have seen him aggressive was during quidditch.  But this Regulus stalking over towards the group was not the reserved boy people know him to be. He was livid.
"Severus went in and he's still hasn't come out yet. Dammit, I shouldn't have insisted to come here. She didn't want to and we pressured her. Godric, Regulus I'm so sorry." Lucinda cried out as Marney wraps her arms around her also tearing up.
Regulus took his coat off and went straight towards the lake, but before he could make it inside Severus pushed Astoria's body towards him. He immediately grabbed onto her laying her beside the lake while Marney and Lucinda went to grab onto Severus.
Something was wrong. Her skin was light blueish. He could also see the rips of her clothing from the birds he heard attacked her. Her lips were purple and chapped. But the worst of it all she was emotionless and cold.  Her state was going to be embedded in his mind forever. It would be in his nightmares and become his new boggart.
"Merlin Angel, what happened." He whispered to himself feeling tears well up. He immediatley put his fingers to her pulse and sighed in relief to hear it. Though it was very faintly.  He then places his hands at the center of her chest and pushes hard and fast twice per second. He then checks for breathing and groans. "Come on Angel please stay with me."
The people all gathered around him. The Marauders couldn't believe their eyes. Sirius out of all of them couldn't even look at the pair and looked guilty at the ground.
After a few more compressions she finally spat out crazy amounts of water and started taking deep breaths. Lucinda and Marney cried in glee, Severus sighed in relief, and Regulus pulled her towards him.
He didn't care if she was soaking him. He needed to feel her skin on his. He needed to feel her breathing.  He just needed her because he almost lost her.
"Merlin...Mister Black, please carry her back to the infirmary so we can fix her up." He hears the nurse arrive. He wraps his jacket around her to block the people from seeing her like this.  He then proceeds to carry her in his arms and starts running towards Hogwarts not before giving his brother a long and cold glare.
Severus, Marney, and Lucinda stayed back to glare at the Marauders.
"Loo-"
"No you look Black, you almost murdered your brother's girl and our friend and you don't even care!" Lucinda exclaims as the boys winced.
"I think maybe murder is a bit of a stretch...."James mutters defensively, but Marney only gave him a look ready to slap the magic out of him when a voice chimed in.
"Hey! No hitting someone or else I'm going to have to write you up and I'm sure your house doesn't need any more of those." The group turns to look at the redhead who was walking towards them. The Slytherins including Severus rolled their eyes at the head girl. Yes, he still had feelings for the girl but he could admit at times she was very biased towards James and his group of gits.
"Being house prejudice now huh red? What happened to the fair and sweet Lily Evans that we use to tolerate? Now even your presence makes me want to hex you to oblivion." Marney added giving her a wicked smirk. James went to defend his girl, but Lily thought she would take matters into her own hands.
"At least I'm not a pure-blood supremacist. Now tell me why you were about to smack my boyfriend or else I'll have to tell Professor McGonagall." She bit back making Snape roll his eyes.
"Well, Evans your boyfriend and his band of idiots thought it would be funny to use the Oppugno jinx on three Slytherin fifth-years to the point where one fell into the Great Lake and almost drowned. So go ahead and tell McGonagall but please call us down so we can enjoy seeing these four finally getting the expulsion they deserved since first year." Lucinda added giving Evans a fake smile. Lily turned to glare at the Marauders and James looked like a puppy with its tail between its legs.
Lily then ran a hand through her red locks, "I'm sure it wasn't their intention to cause that much dam-"
Severus snorted making them all look at him, "Really Evans? That's what you're going with? You and I both know the old Lily would've personally asked for their expulsion if something like this occurred to someone you cared about. Salazar, Lily you really changed. At first, I was so obsessed with knowing what made you say yes to Potter. Why you chose him over me? But now I understand. Now I understand why you and James are so perfect for each other. Two incredibly dimwitted, filthy, arrogant, wizards that do not even have an ounce of decency nor compassion in their bodies. You do not see how Astoria was. A fifteen-year-old girl was close to death because of your boyfriend and friends. She had to relieve her brother's death all over again. But you don't even care. You would rather defend this...this lack of a man and these murderous gits than the innocent. I'm ashamed I ever called you a best friend." He exploded and barged away heading towards the infirmary.
The girls could see that James was about to run after Snape more so to demand respect for his girlfriend but Marney pulled him back and gave him the slap he deserved while Lucinda did the same to Sirius.
"Don't like how your girlfriend was being treated? Well, we could do worst. Maybe torment her until she finally leaves her house prejudiced ways or even let her bleed out all the filthy blood inside of her until she's nothing but a body." James glared at the young Slytherin. "Just know us Slytherins aren't scared to bite back. Our bite is poisonous so good luck protecting your house because you just declared war and we don't back down." Marney snapped at the Gryffindors and walked away.
Lucinda glared at the crew before locking eyes with Sirius, "If I were you I would hide. I'm sure Regulus will come and find you soon to pay for what you've done. Imagine your parent's reaction when they hear that you wanted to kill their future daughter-in-law. I'm sure they'll barge into the blood traitor's house and hopefully slaughter them all. But take my advice dear Sirius, Regulus won't be happy with you."
"He's my broth-"
"Really? I thought Potter was? You did leave Regulus alone and headed straight to Potter's house. The only person who was there for him was Astoria. He will never forgive you and that I can promise." She glared at the crew and went to follow Marney towards the infirmary.
"You are bloody idiots. I'm going to have to report this and don't even try to give me those looks. I can try to lessen your punishment but you all brought it upon yourselves. And Sirius." The boy looked up seeing her cold stare. "Fix this." She then stalked away with James at her tail apologizing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's been two days since the incident and currently, Regulus was sitting next to his sleeping fiancee. Her skin finally regained its color. Her lips now back to the beautiful blush he adored. Her body now as warm as her heart.
He couldn't believe how close he was to losing her. The second he saw her eyes closed, her skin blue, and her touch ice-cold, he panicked. She was his angel and he would never be able to lose her.
He's been in the infirmary since she's got there. He hadn't gone to class though Mrs. Pomfrey kept nagging him. He hasn't slept nor showered. He just needed to be with her.
His eyes were now betraying him as he start closing them. His tiredness getting extreme, but he had to pull through. He knew she wouldn't be up for a while so he did the one thing he's been wanting to do: confront his brother.
And let me tell you this after the confrontation Sirius realized that he should've listened to Lucinda, he should've hidden.
You Are My People (Remus Lupin)
Character: Remus Lupin Requested: No Type: Angst
Summary: Remus Lupin has been in a relationship with a Ravenclaw since their fourth year, but a certain secret of his may end up harming his relationship.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
Remus was standing outside with the rest of the students waiting to go to Hogsmeade. He then starts smiling when he sees the one person he wanted to see. Kaitlyn Manery
"My love." He greets kissing her softly on the lips. He pulls away admiring her beauty. "Happy Anniversary."
He can't even understand how lucky he was to have Kaitlyn in his life. She made him a better person. She was always there for him when he needed her and always listened whenever he needed to talk.
She also got along with his friends which he was worried about at first because he was scared his friends would scare her off. He wouldn't blame her though they were scary when all together.
Their friendship started when they met in their second year. They became joined at the hip since then and in their fourth year, Remus finally gained the courage to ask her out, and luckily for him, she accepted.
Since then they would always be together. Either studying or watching as the boys did their pranks. Their love was unconditional and their bond was unbreakable.
However, sometimes they had arguments about him disappearing once a month and for a couple of days. He knew she was growing suspicious but thankfully for him, she stopped after a while.
Of course, he didn't tell her about him being a werewolf. He wanted to protect her and a part of him was scared she would reject him when he finds out what he was. Hence he would rather her be mad at him for a few days because of his disappearance than losing her for what he sadly was.
Today was their three-year anniversary and they were celebrating it in Hogsmeade. He knew she would want to spend the entirety of that day with him and she's rightfully doing so.
"Happy Anniversary darling. Are you ready for today? I have everything planned out. We'll first go to Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop because I know you appreciate some high-quality tea." Her statement made him laugh. "Then we'll go to Tomes and Scrolls for some books to read. Maybe we can also go to Zonko's Joke Shop to get some stuff for the boys. Lastly, we can end at HoneyDukes I really want some sugar quills."
He smiled and nodded, "Of course whatever you want we'll do as long as you are by my side."
She gave him a quick peck on his lips, "Let's go, or else they'll leave without us." She starts pulling him towards the crowd of students already heading walking out the entrance.
"Katie!" The duo turned to see Severus walking towards them...more so towards Kaitlyn.
Severus and Kaitlyn are really close friends. Since the beginning of Hogwarts it was always Lily, Kaitlyn, and Severus, but since the mishap when Severus called Lily a "mudblood" the trio became a duo.
Luckily for her, she and Lily were still close and she and Severy were also close. She didn't feel like she had to pick a side with them and for that, she was grateful because they were both her best friends.
Remus didn't care as much for their friendship. He never liked or disliked the guy. He knew his friends hated him hence why he always has to glare at them whenever his name was mentioned in front of his girlfriend.
They always joked about how now that Snape lost Lily he could take Kaitlyn away from him. It caused Remus to become a bit cautious around the Slytherin.
"Hey Sev how are you?" She smiled kindly at him. He smiled back.
"I was wondering if we are going to do our Hogsmeade tradition of Honeydukes?" He then looks at the couple holding hands and scolded himself. "It's your anniversary, isn't it?" She nodded at him. " I'm so sorry Katie. I completely forgot. I'll see you later. Congrats by the way!"
Before she could say anything the boy dashed off quickly by himself. It made her feel bad, but she wanted to spend time with Remus.
Anniversaries meant the world to Kaitlyn. She saw how her father and mother spoiled one another on their anniversaries and she wanted to do the same with Remus.
Remus Lupin. The love of her life. She loves him to pieces, he's her entire world and she's so lucky to have him in her life.
Like any other relationship, not everything was fine and dandy, but she tried not to dwell on these problems.
The only problem she has is the continuous disappearance once every month. She wouldn't see him for a whole week and then he'll pop out as if nothing had happened. It frustrated her very much, but she still had no reason to explode on him. At least not yet.
"Remus! Remus!" The couple turned around to see his friends shouting and running towards them. They blinked a bit when James makes it to them first
"Hi James, what's going on?" Kaitlyn quirked an eyebrow to her boyfriend then to the boys.
"Hey, Katie. We need to tell Remus something." James said giving her a sheepish smile. Sirius and Peter finally made it to them. They all looked out of breath.
She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and a slight bit of annoyance, "Tell him what exactly?"
They all looked at each other until Peter blurted, "We need to tell him that today's a f-"
"What Peter is trying to say is that it's really important." Sirius covered Peter's mouth as Kaitlyn gives him a suspicious look.
"If it's important and something to do with Remus I think I have the right to know right, darling?" Her boyfriend looked at his friends who were giving him a look. "Right Remus?
Remus can tell it was something really important and something his girlfriend couldn't know about, so he looked at his girlfriend and squeezed her hand softly, "It's probably nothing. Why don't you get a move on first."
She blinked a few times and started to protest, "What? Remus it's supposed to be our day."
He kissed her forehead softly, "Darling we have the whole day. Let me talk to the boys and then I'll be right behind you."
She gave him a look and rolled her eyes, "What if you don't make it on time? I got everything scheduled." She sighed knowing she was being a bit difficult, but she couldn't help it. She never asked for much only on days like today she would have his total attention. " I'm sure if I move the Joke shop from twenty minutes to fifteen we have an extra five minutes to make it. I can wait for you."
He looked at his friends who were shaking their heads as if her waiting was not a good idea.
"I think Snape really wants to go to Honeydukes with you. Why don't you walk with him and I'm sure I'll be there in no time." Remus tried persuading her. She could tell the boys were hiding something but she nodded. She didn't want to fight on their anniversary.
"But you promise to be there?" She asked and he nodded at her.
"Of course darling. I wouldn't miss it for the world." She accepted the answer and beamed.
"I'll meet you at Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop in fifteen minutes?" She asked and he nodded. He kissed her cheek and she smiled softly. He knew she was annoyed at the situation. "Well have fun with your secrets. I'll see you later boys. Remember sweetheart fifteen minutes."
"Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop I got it." She kisses his lips gently and ran towards the others.
He could see that she made it to Severus. She waved goodbye and turned to head towards Hogsmeade with her friend.
He knew it took all of her to leave him with his friends. She did in fact blow off her own friend to be with him, he couldn't help but feel guilty.
He did promise her after all that he was going to be with her the whole day. He just hopes that the rest of the day will win her over.
"Okay, what was so important?" He sighed rubbing his forehead. He was already in a foul mood for leaving his girl alone especially with Severus.
"Moony tonight's a full moon." Those were the words he dreaded to hear the most. Today out of all days? Merlin really was not on his side.
"No. Of course not...it can't be. We are always attentive about this. If this is a joke, it's not funny." The serious tone of his voice made the three guys shake his head.
"We wouldn't joke about it. Especially today, we aren't that cruel Moony." Remus started to pace at Sirius' words.
He never hated himself as much as he did at that moment. He knew it would crush her and he couldn't do anything about it.
"How the bloody hell am I going to tell her? She's already on her way there and expects me to meet up with her." He then looks at the trio in front of him in anger. "You couldn't have helped me out if you knew I wouldn't be able to make it? You made me promise her I'll make it and you didn't stop it?"
"Hey, at least we didn't forget about the bloody full moon. What would you have preferred us not telling you and letting you hurt her or us telling you now?" James instantly felt bad after saying those words. He knew he was stressing because of Kaitlyn. Everyone knows how much they both cared about special days like these. Plus he knew Lily would kill him if he did the same thing. "Plus, we all knew she wouldn't leave until you promised her. Stubborn thing isn't she?"
That caused Remus to forget for a moment and laugh a bit thinking about his girlfriend. She was a very stubborn girl. A very pretty, kind, and caring stubborn girl.
Then he groaned thinking about how upset she'll be when she realizes that he won't be meeting up with her. It'll end in another fight. They've been planning their anniversary for the past month and now it'll be ruined because of him.
"Then I guess I'll be on my way to the shack." He said and sluggishly walking in the direction of his hiding spot. The three boys looked at each other and followed him.
"What about Kaitlyn?" Peter asked making Remus wince. He turned towards his friends.
"Can one of you go and tell her I won't be able to make it?" The three boys looked at one another shook their heads no. "Why not?"
"No offense, but I think it'll make you look a lot worst if one of us went," Sirius added making the others nod.
"So what do you suppose we do? Make her stay there for Merlin knows how many hours by herself?" The boys gave him a look. Remus shook his head. "No, we aren't going to do that. It's going to crush her." It's going to crush me, he thought.
"Then why don't you go and tell her yourself. You still have time." Peter chimes in making James slap his head. "Ouch what was that for?"
"He doesn't have the time. Dumbledore told us to tell him he has to go now." James scolded his friend.
Remus looked down at his shoes feeling a sense of guilt, frustration, and sadness overwhelm him, "Please tell me this is all a joke or better yet a nightmare. I-this cannot be happening. She was looking forward to this day for weeks. I promised her I would go. I cannot break my promise to her." The boys can see how much this was affecting him and it made them want to hug his friend.
"Mate, you have to. It's either your hurt her heart or you hurt her. I don't think there's much of a choice." James muttered looking down at his feet when he sees the tears roll down his friend's face.
"You guys don't understand. She won't forgive me this time. I know dam well she won't. I promised her this day would be about us. It's our bloody anniversary. I can't leave her there heartbroken and alone. I have to be with her...please...." He cries out making the boys hug him.
"Moony Dumbledore won't allow you to and we all know you wouldn't risk harming her." James coaxes him patting him on the back.
Sirius then suggests, "Look Remy, why don't you head towards the Shack and we'll deal with the Mrs. Moony."
Remus nods half-heartedly and walks towards the shack kicking himself for being such an abomination. He just hopes that Kaitlyn would understand and accept whatever lame excuse the boys come up with.
The boys watch Remus walk away and when he's out of sight Peter questions, "We're not telling her anything right?"
James pats him on his shoulder giving him a tight smile, "We all know how she is. If it's not Moony telling her she won't allow anyone else to."
Peter's jaw drop, "So we're just going to let her get heartbroken without any explanation? Moony is going to kill us."
Sirius gives his friends a smile trying to ease up the tension, "Calm down mates, what's the worst that could happen?"
If only he knew...plenty of things could happen. And they did.
A Few Days Later
The boys were all lounging on the couch of the common room. James was speaking with Lily, while James and Peter were playing with cards.
Remus finally comes out of his room after a few days of resting. The last full moon took a toll on his body. The first thing he wanted to do was speak to Kaitlyn. He owed her an explanation.
"Moony! You made it! How are you? Are you feeling better?" Sirius asked and the boy nodded trying to tie his tie quickly to walk out of the door.
"Woah there mate, where are you off to in such a hurry? We were waiting for you." James questioned as everyone got up to walk together to the Great Hall for breakfast.
"I need to see Kaitlyn." Were the only words he uttered before speed walking towards the Great Hall. The boys looked at each other and quickly stopped him from going any further.
"That's not a good idea," Sirius adds as they all look at each other.
Remus feels dread pooling in his gut, "And why not? She's my girlfriend."
James pats Peter in the back making Peter glared at him, "Well...I...it's jus-"
"Spit it out Wormtail." Remus could feel himself growing angrier and angrier.
"So remember how we told you that we would take care of the Kaitlyn situation?" He nods wanting his friend to continue. "Well...."
"What did you guys do?" He seethed looking at his friends looking down at their feet.
"Look Remus please don't be angry at us, but we knew she would not buy whatever we would say. She would only believe your words, not ours." He could already tell that his friend was trying to control himself. "We thought it would be a better idea to just...not tell her.."
Remus' heart dropped at that moment. While he was resting peacefully in his room, Kaitlyn was thinking that he left her and broke his promise. She would be mad and frustrated, but most of all she would've been heartbroken.
"Please tell me you didn't just leave her there..."His friends gave him a sorry look. "I swear to Merlin if she's not at our table I'm going to kill you." He muttered before taking off towards the Great Hall. The boys all following him.
When he entered his eyes immediately went towards his table. Red. Red. Red. Red.Red. No bloody blue.
His eyes turned to glare at his friends and he looked over at the Ravenclaw's table. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He looked and looked and nothing. Where could she be? Then out of the corner of his eyes he could see blue in a sea of green.
He walked over there and didn't care about the glares the table sent his way. All he wanted was to apologize to Kaitlyn. He would go on his knees for her.
"Sweetheart..."He called out softly only for her to freeze. She slowly turned her body around to look at him. She was talking to Severus. Well, she was laughing at something he said.
He will never forget the way she's staring at him at that very moment. Eyes cold and sharp not loving and caring ones he's used to.
"Lupin." Her voice cold as he winced. He messed up. He knows he messed up.
"Look darling I'm-"
"Don't even apologize Lupin. It's all good." He wished he could be relieved by what she said but it only made him feel guilty.
"Can we please talk..." He looks around seeing a lot of Slytherins's eyes on them.
Before she could speak Severus adds, "There's no reason to. We all know what you did. You stood her up...on your anniversary who does that?"
Remus couldn't help the growl that emitted from his body, "This has nothing to do with you Severus so pleases sod off."
Severus whom was sitting next to Kaitlyn stood up facing him. He feels the presence of his friends right behind him. Severus looks at the group of boys and couldn't help but snort, "Really can't fight your own battles huh Remus?"
"Oh sod off Snivellus. She's still Lupin's girl." James adds smirking at the Slytherin.
"Just because you lost Lily doesn't give you the right to try and claim Kaitlyn. Why can't you find someone who doesn't have a boyfriend huh?" Sirius boasts giving Severus a glare.
Before anything else can be said Kaitlyn abruptly stood up and grabbed her books from the table, "From what I can tell, I have no boyfriend. Severus come along. I need help with potions."
She doesn't even wait for him and starts walking away. Severus smirks at Lupin who's giving him the deadliest glare in the world.
He then leans in to him and mutters, "Now who lost who?" Remus was about to punch him but his friends held onto him. He watches Severus walk out to meet his girlfriend.
"Did she just break up with me?" He questioned feeling his heart plummet.
His friends pat him on the back, "I'm sure she'll come around." He hears Peter chime.
"No, she won't unless I explain myself." He adds before running towards the doors completely forgetting about the food and following the voices. He can feel his friends following along.
"Kaitlyn!" He calls out making her stop and turn.
She glares at him hard, "Can't you take a hint, Remus? We are finished. Done. Broken up. I'm done with you. Now leave me alone."  She goes to walk away, but Remus grabs onto her hand, "Let. Me. Go."
"Not until you let me explain...please." She stares at his face. She sees scratches and bruises. He also has tears falling down his face. She felt her heart break again.
"Katie, you don't owe him anything. He doesn't even deserve to give his excuse." Remus glares at the guy behind her.
"Can you just leave us bloody alone for a dam second." He seethes not wanting to lose control. Kaitlyn stares at his face then at his hand which was still grabbing her arm.
She turns to Severus, "Can you give us a moment please. I'll be there in a few I promise."
Severus was about to protest but stopped himself. He nods and gives Remus one last glare and walks away.
"You have one minute talk." She says folding her arms towards her chest.
He was happy but also nervous. He really wasn't expecting getting this far. He had nothing planned. A part of him wanted to tell her the truth but the other part didn't want to risk it.
"I-Well...It's just tha-...Look what I want to say is that I'm sorry. I'm an utter idiot. You did not deserve to be left like that....The last thing I ever want to do is hurt you. You are the love of my life. You are my reason to live. I felt so stupid for ever leaving you there. We planned this for so long and I know you were looking forward to it. I'm just so sorry darling. Please forgive me." He says getting on his knees. He didn't care if he looked pathetic he would do anything to get her back.
She looked down at him. What was she thinking? In her eyes he lied to her, broke his promise, and left her all in one day. It was their anniversary for Merlin sake and then his friends come along and pull him away.
Her heart shattered that day. She waited at the tea shop for three hours. Three bloody hours looking like an idiot sitting there alone. After the first hour she already had tears running down her face, after the second hour she felt her heart shattered, and in the third she found herself sobbing in the arms of her dear friend Severus Snape.
Since that day he spent every waking moment with her. Not that she hated nor minded it, she just wanted to be alone, but she did appreciate the company.
She just didn't understand how could someone who was excited as he was that very moment leave her just a few minutes later. But she had enough. She had enough of his disappearance. She was over it all. If he doesn't explain to her what is going on or has a valid reason to stand her up she was going to dump him without a care in the world like he had done.
"Where were you?" With this Remus' head shot up. "Where do you go off to once a month...why did you leave me so out of the blue? Do you not love me anymore?" His head immediately shook.
"That's preposterous my angel, I love you more than I do myself. You are my everything never doubt that." He reassures getting back on his feet holding her hands.
"Then why did you leave me? Why do you leave once a month?" This was it. He had to choose. It was either her safety or his selfish needs.
His mouth opened and then closed not knowing what to do. More so what to say.
She rolled her eyes and ripped her hands away, "Time's up." She goes to walk away but he impulsively wraps his arms around her waist and presses his mouth to hers. She instantly responds wrapping her arms around his neck. It felt so normal and so magical. Their love poured out of each other.
Everything was so perfect until it wasn't. Until she remembered what happened and it took everything in her to push him away.
Tears streamed down her face, "How dare you...How dare you leave me heartbroken on our bloody anniversary without any explanation and then show up and kiss me as if you have any right. I'm so done having sleepless nights wondering where you are, I'm so done having to take care of your bruises and scratches whenever you do decide to show up, and I'm so done with you keeping secrets from me. If you don't tell me what is going on right now, I swear to Merlin I will walk away and I will never and I mean ever speak to you ever again."
This was it. This was the moment their relationship either flourishes or crumbles.  It is his choice. It's always been his choice. But he doesn't know what to do. He of course wants to be with her, but at what cost? It was either her safety or his selfish needs.
"I can't..." He stutters. He feels his own heartbreak at his words. He needs her, but he also needed her safe. Safe from him.
"Then this is over..." She mutters. He feels his heart clench at the tears that were falling from her face. If only he had the decency to tell her he doesn't want her it would've made it so much easier for her.
He watches her body walk away and feels the presence of his friends.
"This is all your fault..."He mutters walking away from the group back into the Gryffindor tower to sulk in self-despair however Peter grabbed his arm.
"A part of it is and we are sorry Moony, but it is not our fault that you are a coward and would rather lose the love of your life than build up the courage to tell her." Everyone's eyes widen never hearing Peter speak that loudly and confidently. "Now go tell her now before she makes it to the library and you will lose her forever to Snivellus of all people."
Remus looks around at his friends who were giving him reassuring looks and he darts off to find her. A part of him dreaded telling her but the other dreaded losing her.
He headed towards the library darting when he sees her figure about to open the door, "Katie!" He sees her body stiffen then turn the nob to open it. "Please...I'll tell you. I swear I'll tell you everything just give me another chance."
"I'm done giving chances Lupin. I gave you too many and I'm exhausted." She still hasn't turned around, but he caught up to her. He wraps his arms around her to face him. The tears in her eyes made Lupin scold himself for letting it happen.
"I'll tell you every small detail. I'll scream it to the world if you want me to. I just can't lose you. I don't want to lose you. You are the love of my life. You are one of the most important people in my life. You are my people. I can't lose you for this. I'll lose myself the moment you leave. Please give me another chan-"
He was caught off by her lips smashing towards his. The kiss was passionate, desperate, and very much needed. Their sparks filled the hallway and he let out a sigh of relief.
They both pulled away leaning their foreheads together.
"You promise you'll tell me everything from now on?" Her voice rings out and he nods.
"I promise. Every little thing you will know." They stare at each other's eyes. He was terrified of how passionate their love was.
"I love you more than life."
"And I love you."
He was terrified to tell her his secret but after a long conversation in the Room of Requirements, he found himself being wrapped up in the arms of the love of his life.
"I love you and I don't care if you're a werewolf or a bloody muggle, I will never stop loving you Remus Lupin. You are my people too."

Future Mrs. Malfoy (Lucius Malfoy)
Character: Lucius Malfoy Requested: No Type: Fluff
Summary: Lucius Malfoy's new obsession is the oldest Weasley child
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
"But mother, I do not see why I have to be here? I'm twenty-three I graduated from Hogwarts five years ago." Matilda groaned walking beside her mother going into Flourish and Blotts with her family. She saw the three kids look amazed at all the books. It was a beauty.
Matilda Louise Weasley was the oldest of the Weasley children. She was currently twenty-three and working as an Auror. Mad-eye Moody took her under his wing just like he's done with Tonks and she and her family are forever grateful for the man.
As the oldest, she had to take care of all of her little siblings and never had much time to herself. Her whole life was studying, spending time with family, and working.
She never had much luck in the love department either until a few months ago when she met one of the most good-looking men she's ever laid her eyes on. Someone, she knew her parents disapprove of, but she couldn't help herself.
He took her out expensive dinner dates, bought her expensive jewelry, and most importantly made her heart flutter every time he smiled at her.
The problem was that he was recently divorced and he had a child. It also didn't help that he was rumored to be involved with You-Know-Who. Oh and the worst of them all is that her family despises his. Hence why she shuts her mouth every time her boyfriend is mentioned.
"Before you go on your date with whoever your boyfriend is, you can help your sister get ready for her first year at Hogwarts." The young lady rolled her eyes. Her mother kept pestering her about her boyfriend's identity but she really had no intention of telling or her family. She knows it wouldn't end well. "Oh my Merlin, Tilly come here!"
She turned around and saw Gilderoy Lockhart the man her mother was unhealthily obsessed with. She unlike most females of the wizarding world did not like the man. She could see through him. She knew he was tacky and in some ways fake, but she did not want to crush her mother's heart.
She let her mother, Ginny, Ron, and his friends go towards the man and she walks up towards the familiar light blonde hair she saw scurrying along the aisles. He currently had his back towards her.
"Is that my little Draco?" She jumped from behind the little boy and ruffled his hair causing it to mess up. The boy scowled a bit but then smiled at Matilda.
"Hello, Tilda how are you? Aren't you supposed to be meeting father soon?" He quirked his eyebrow and she shrugged.
"I'm good Draco and I owled him earlier and I'm assuming he got it. Did he accompany you today?" She asked and he nodded.
To her surprise, the boy approved of her. Though he also hated her family he could admit that she was different. She wasn't overly annoying and her style was not so bad. She was also very kind to him, kinder than his father so whenever he wanted to punish him, Matilda always stepped in and he was forever grateful.
Narcissa and Lucius divorced a few months ago due to her infidelity. Everyone found out she was messing with half-blood of all people. It was the talk of the wizarding world for months. Even though the drama was messy, the divorce wasn't. She signed a prenup before they married so what was rightfully hers was hers and what was rightfully he was his.
Lucius wasn't affected as much as people thought he would be though it does not mean he did not act a certain way in front of the press to gain pity. They simply fell out of love. He still adores her in a way because she gave him Draco, but they knew they would not work out. It was only a matter of time, but he wished she did it in a way that didn't embarrass him.
"Yes, he's currently at Twilfitt and Tatting's." He then leans closer and whispers, "I think he's trying to figure out what to buy you for your birthday that's coming up."
She ruffled his hair again, "Speaking of my birthday, I would love to have you and your father over at my house. I can help you with quidditch if you want."
He smiled excitedly, "Of course I would love to go; however I think father already has plans to take you out."
She laughs, "Aw you're so cute. You think you'll father will say no to me. Sweetheart, I will teach you how to be the best dam seeker this world has seen and that's a promise."
Matilda then walks back down to see that her mother, sister, and Hermione is still gawking at Lockhart.
"Thank goodness that Tilly isn't as dimwitted as the rest of the girls, Lockhart is nothing but an annoying git." She smiles as her little brother Fred wraps an arm around her.
"That you and I can agree on. Let's go kids, I'm craving a bit of ice cream. Plus I think I can get a discount at Florean Fortescue's." The kids quirked an eyebrow. "I know his daughter."
They were walking towards the door when Draco walks up to Harry with a scowl on his face, "Bet you love that didn't you Potter? Famous Harry Potter can't even go to a book shop without making the front page."
Before Matilda could diffuse the tension Ginny went up and glared at the boy, "Leave him alone."
Draco smirked at the girl, "Oh look, Potter, you got yourself a girlfriend."
"Okay, Draco that's enough." Matilda walked towards the young boy. "That wasn't very nice was it?"
He rolled his eyes not saying anything until a cane with a snake-like figure on the top of it hit his shoulder. Both Draco and Matilda internally winced for two different reasons.
He looked enchanting. She knows he loves to flaunt his money all the time with the fur coats and the expensive capes oh and that expensive pimp cane he carries. Though he looks very full of himself she could really see through all of his walls. He tries to portray himself as a cold-hearted king, but he treats her like a queen.
"Now now Draco, play nicely." He moved him aside and got in front of Harry smirking lightly. Matilda went next to Draco and slapped the side of his head making the boy wince again and lightly glare at her. "Mr. Potter" He held out his hand. "Lucius Malfoy. We meet at last."
Matilda could feel the tension rise. She looked to her left and see all of her siblings glare at the man.
"Forgive me." He yanked Harry forward to take a good look at his scar, "Your scar is legendary. As of course is the wizard who gave it to you."
She was about to step in but Harry voiced out, "Voldemort killed my parents." He then yanked himself out of his grasp. "He was nothing more but a murderer."
She could tell that Lucius was getting a bit annoyed by Harry but covered it with a smirk, "You must be very brave to mention his name...or very foolish."
"Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself." Lucius looks at the girl from head to toe in disgust.
"And you must be Miss Granger. Yes, Draco has told me all about you and your parents. Muggles...aren't they?" One of the main disagreements she has with him is about his pure-blood supremacist ways. It always ends with him shutting her up with a kiss and moving on to the next topic. She can't help herself his lips are alluring.
"Is your father always this intimidating?" She whispers to Draco as he nods.
"Terribly so. Thank god I'm not the one dating him." She harshly elbows him in the arm to shush him. This definitely wasn't the time nor place.
"Let me see red hair, vacant expressions..." He picks up one of Ginny's books, "Tatty secondhand book, you must be the Weasleys."
Tension filled the room and Matilda felt like she was suffocating. Thank Merlins for her father's arriving at the most perfect time...not really.
"Children, it's mad in here let's go outside." He smiles at the kids and glares at Lucius. This was so not going to end well.
"Well well well. Weasley senior." She could see the look of disgust on her boyfriend's face as well as her father returning it.
"Lucius." Her father greeted as politely as he could though they can definitely hear the strain in his voice.
"How's your time at the Ministry Arthur? All those extra raids I do hope they are paying you overtime. Judging by the state of this I'd say not. See you soon being a disgrace to the name of wizard if they don't even pay you well for it." She groaned at his words. She knew they would never get along but she hoped her boyfriend would at least be a bit kinder.
"We have a very different idea about what disgraces the name of wizard...Malfoy." Her father retorted.
"Clearly..." He looks behind them towards Hermione's parents. "Associating with muggles. " He then drops Ginny's books in her cauldron. "And I thought your family could sink no lower."
She finally heard enough of him bashing her family. She thought if she ignored it then maybe he would stop; however that wasn't the case."That's enough Lucius."
Her father and boyfriend turned towards her. Lucius smirking while her father is confused about why she called him by his first name. Her father always taught her to acknowledge people that are older than you by their last name unless you are close with them.
Lucius completely ignores everyone and walks towards her picking her hand up to give it a light kiss. "Matilda Weasley, It's an honor being in the presence of someone as skilled and beautiful as you." She knew he was teasing her wanting her to break in front of her family.
Her whole family was gawking at the man. Since when was he kind to a Weasley especially one he supposedly doesn't have any relation to?
"Thank you, Lucius, but I think it's time for you to go." She tries to hint at him to stop getting her family mad and get out, but of course, he has other plans.
"I think that's a marvelous idea dear. Let's go back to the manor maybe we can get started on the birthday cele-"
She glared at him then smiled at her family who was really confused. She then walked up to him and whispered for only him to hear, "I swear to Merlin's name Lucius don't make a scene and go. I'll meet up with you in an hour."
He looks at her and nods not wanting to feel her wrath. "Very well. It was very great seeing you all. Draco come along." He then looks at Arthur. "See you at work." He gives her a wink and walks out with Draco following him.
She then turns around and smiles at her family who was giving her suspicious looks.
Her father redder than the rest of the family, "Matilda Louise Weasley how are you on a first-name basis with Malfoy and why did he speak about your birthday as if you will be seeing him? You certainly won't be...right?"
Before she could say anything Lucius walks back into the store, "My love I forgot to give you your robes back from last week, but because I realized how old and used they are I wanted to give you better ones. These I got specifically made for you. Limited edition." He hands her a beautifully wrapped box and smirks at her family. "Oh did I disrupt something?"
She glared at the older man and sighed knowing that sooner or later the truth is going to come out.
"Mother, father. Please do not freak out or make a scene." She pleaded smiling at her family nervously.
Her father seemed to put two and two together and his jaw clenched, "Why would we make a scene?"
"Remember how I told you I have a boyfriend?" Her whole family nodded simultaneously. It's now or never she thought.
She then felt an arm around her waist and looked at Lucius who was giving her a genuine smile, "What she's trying to say is that you're looking at the future, Mrs. Malfoy."
Her eyes widened as her family does too.
"You're engaged to Malfoy!?!" Her siblings screamed betrayal evident in their voices.
"No-no-no. I'm not engaged to Lucius....we are simply getting to know each other." She smiled guiltily. She elbowed him lightly for the way he announced it.
"Getting to know him? Matilda Louise Weasley, he could be your father!" Her mother scolded. Eyes started to move onto them, which made her want the ground to swallow her.
"Well good thing that I'm not." She glared at him lightly. His sarcasm was going to get him hated even more.
"Look I'm twenty-three and he's thirty-eight. He's not old enough to be my father because it's not that much of a difference and we just clicked." She defended as her father opened and closed his mouth in an attempt to speak. She knew the news was going to cause this type of reaction but there was a part of her that hoped it wouldn't.
"Since when was this" He waved towards them. "a thing?"
"Four months." She muttered as her parent's eyes almost pop out of their socket.
"Matilda Louise Weasley how dare you? You are coming with us right now and we are going to talk about it at home." Her mother demanded walking up to grab her.
Lucius had other plans. His grip on her waist tightened, "Well I'm sorry Weasleys. She has plans with me."
"And I do not care what bloody plans she has with you. Don't you have a wife and kid to go back to? Really Matilda? You couldn't have gotten with someone without a family? Let me guess you cheated on your wife with someone younger?" Her father's words shocked her. She's never heard him ever have that tone aimed at her.
Lucius had a steel grip on her. She knows that Narcissa was a hard topic for him, not because he still has feelings for her, but more so the fact that she betrayed him in a way. She was never his side chick. When he was still married she used to just speak to him as a friend.
"Look, Arthur, not everything you read about my situation is true and also my family should not be a topic in your conversations because it is none of your business." She could tell he was holding back. She rubbed his back with her hand.
"Obviously it is my business now that you're taking advantage of my daughter! Your family has brought nothing but problems and now you will be bringing my daughter in all of them. They will eat her alive and you know it Malfoy. She's too young and too pure to be with someone as tainted as you. She's too young to take care of that notorious son of yours and she's too young to be seeing you. I forbid it." Her father shouts gaining the attention of many more shoppers.
"As I said before, it's not your business and you have no say in what she does. She's old enough to make her own decisions and she chose me." She tried to pull Lucius away, but his body went stiff when her father started speaking again.
"Why are you doing this Lucius? Is this for revenge? Do you hate my family so much that you want to corrupt my eldest daughter? You want to make her into one of you-know-who's minions? I can see through you Lucius and I am not afraid of you." Then he turns to Matilda. His face was red with anger. "And you, Matilda. Did I fail as a father? Or did you just fail as a daughter? How could you even be near this lying, manipulative, pureblood supremacist, death eater who's brought nothing but difficulties to your family? Do you have no respect for your family? Or are you a money craving skank that will let this man ruin you for money and clothes?" The whole shop silenced. Her family looking at him shocked evident on their faces. He also didn't realize the power of his words until he saw the tears welling upon his daughter's face. "Tilly..."
She wiped the tears that fell and grabbed on to Lucius, but he wouldn't budge. He knew how much the words affected her and he was not going to let them speak to her that way.
"Draco's at the Florean Fortescue' Ice Cream Parlor you should go and see if he's alright." She knew he wasn't suggesting, but commanding her to go.
She gave his hand a harder squeeze, "Lucius don't do anything stupid. They're still my family."
He gave her a small smile, "Do not worry. Go now please my dear. I'll be right there. I promise."
She knew he wasn't going to listen to her so she nodded. She gave her family one last sad look and walked to the ice cream parlor trying to find the young boy she adored.
Meanwhile, in the book shop, Lucius' eyes followed her figure until he no longer could see her. He was trying to compose himself before he exploded.
Without even looking at Arthur he said, "I know you have suspicions of me and I will not confirm nor deny them, but the only thing ever going for me is my family. You can scoff and roll your eyes all you want but I lived for my son and my then-wife. She was the one to cheat on me and I was a mess. She left both Draco and I and I didn't know what to do." He looked up at the family staring at him intensely. He laughed darkly. "I had all the money and power in the world, but I couldn't make my wife stay. I'm a single father right now. I have made plenty of mistakes in my lifetime and will probably continue doing so, but Merlin took pity on me and gave me strength. That strength came in the form of your daughter. She was there for me whenever I needed her. She helped with Draco and in these few months even at the young age of twenty-three she created a motherly relationship with him and I will be forever grateful."
"Do you love her? Do you care for my child?" Molly asked softly. Lucius stared into her eyes then at Arthur.
"I do. Very deeply. She and Draco are my life and I will not let anyone disrespect her not even her own family. I know we had and are probably still going to have our differences, but it's no reason for you to take it out on her. She's a smart and kind woman Arthur. You raised her well. I'm not going anywhere any time soon. And I was not kidding when I said she's the future Mrs. Malfoy. I just hope you get your head out of your bloody ass and accept our relationship before you lose her." He then took a step towards Arthur, "And if you or the rest of you treat her like this again I swear to Merlin I will make you pay." He gave one last look over the family and walked away
He then made it to the ice cream parlor and immediately felt his heart flutter. He could hear the angelic laugh of his love and see the ruffled white hair of his child. Their relationship really made him happy.
"Father." His son greeted as Matilda looked up at him. She gave him a look to see if he was alright and he nodded giving her a smile.
"Let's go home. Sweetheart, will you be joining us?" She smiled and nodded grabbing onto his arm.
They apparated back to the Malfoy Manor. The beauty of it still amazes her even though she's been there plenty of times.
"Draco why don't you put your stuff away and then come down for dinner. Dobby should be almost finished with it." His son nodded and went upstairs leaving the two adults alone.
"Are you alright darling?" Her soft voice rang out. She grabbed onto his hand squeezing it lightly. He was acting a bit different.
" I can't help but think that they're right you know. You have a whole life ahead of you. I already have a child and have such a reputation that it will just hold you back. I can't let you do that to yourself. I can't let myself do that to you. It's not fair to you." His eyes stared deep into her soul. He didn't want to lose her but he also knew the burden it comes with being with him.
She wraps her arm over his shoulders, while his automatically wraps around her waist, "My sweet sweet Lucius, I know what I signed up for when I said yes to you and I do not regret it. I have a marvelous family. You, Draco, and I. I've never felt as happy as I am with you. Who cares what my family thinks. I just know I want to be with you for as long as you'll have me." He smiles adoringly at her and presses his lips to hers.
Sparks fly all around and at that moment they both knew that they were each other's life. No one was going to meddle in the love they shared and he couldn't be any happier.
Arranged Marriage (Sirius Black)
Character: Sirius Black Requested: No Type: Fluff
Summary: Sirus Black being in an arranged marriage with a pureblood.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
"Mother I do not see why I must attend. You never cared for me to attend these dinners before." Sirius muttered as his mother scoffed at the Gryffindor banners around his room. She barged into this closet and took out a black suit.
She threw it at him and placed a hand on her hip, "You've been a disgrace to this family since you joined that foul house. This is your chance to redeem yourself. You're a Black for Merlin sakes, act like one."
"But mothe-"
She glared at her eldest son, "-But mother nothing, you will change into that suit, fix that hair, and be on your best behavior. You better be down in fifteen minutes. You do not wish to know what will happen if I have to come up here."
He winced as she slams the door shut. He gently picks up the suit and changes. He then slicks his hair back a bit and pats it down so a few loose pieces fall on his face. He looks at the clock and walks down grudgingly.
He has no idea why he had to be there. They usually enjoyed leaving him in his room during these dinners because he was the so-called "mistake" of the family. He also enjoyed staying in his room away from his family.
The doorbell rang and the family all waited in front of the door. His mother and father at the front while he and Regulus are behind them. Kreacher quickly opened the door and bowed.
"Abraxas it's good to see you old friend." His father greeted holding his hand out to shake.
Abraxas gave him a firm handshake, "You too Orion. A pleasure to see you again Walburga." He kissed her hand and then looked at Sirius and Regulus, "My how much you've grown. Looking so much like your father especially you Regulus."
Regulus puffed out his chest in pride while Sirius rolled his eyes. Sirius just wants to leave and go back to his room. The Gryffindor banners make him feel at home.
"We are quite proud of him. He's made it on the Slytherin Quidditch team. He's a good seeker. Have you brought Lucius and Cassiopea?" Walburga gloated then questioned looking at Abraxas. 'Oh Great more Slytherins' Sirus sighed.
"Of course, they should be here soon enough. Cassiopea needed to fix her appearance and Lucius is waiting for her. They are using Floo Powder." The adults nodded and made their way towards the dining room.
"Perfect dinner is going to be ready soon right Kreacher?" Walburga spoke kindly towards the house-elf she adored.
"Yes, Mrs. Black. Dinner will be ready shortly." Kreacher responded as Walburga sends him off to wait for the Malfoy siblings.
Abraxas was sat at one end of the table while his father was sat on the other end. His mother sat on his right while Regulus sat on his left and Sirus next to him.
After a few minutes, they felt two pairs of feet hit the bottom of the chimney. The duo made their way towards the others guided by Kreacher.
"Pardon our tardiness, Mr. and Mrs. Black, Lucius was kindly waiting for me to finish getting dressed. I just wanted to look as presentable as I possibly could. Your looks Mrs. Black make any young girl envious." Sirius looks up and mentally his jaw dropped.
She was breathtaking. Her blonde locks fall to her waist and her dress hugged her in all the right places. Her face as angelic as her voice and her smile as bright as the sun.
"Oh, Cassiopea stop that. You've grown up to be such a beautiful young lady. And you Lucius you look exactly like your father." Walburga smiled brightly. Abraxas's face filled with pride. His kids in his eyes were perfect Slytherins. Powerful, well valued, pretty-faced, and clever.
"Thank you Mrs. Black you look as lovely as always. Mr. Black thank you for inviting us to dinner." Lucius' strong voice complimented pulling the chair out for his sister to sit and then gently pushing her in.
Sirius scoffed at his falsely good-mannered tone. He knew it was all an act. He's seen him in school bullying others. Trying to bully him, but thank Merlin for his friends.
A few moments later the servants brought out the food and they all began to eat. Sirius looks up from time to time to stare at the young girl who was sitting right in front of him. She looked very angelic and ladylike. She was the epitome of a female Slytherin hence why they called her in school the Slytherin Princess.
"So..." The dinner was coming to an end and Orion started smiling at his wife in pride. "We have an announcement. Walburga dear, do you want to do the honors?"
Everyone around the table looks up at the gleaming adults. Sirius had a bad feeling about whatever they were about to say.
She beamed at the suggestion, "Of course, so Sirius your father, Abraxas, and I were discussing our disappointment in you not joining Slytherin and associating yourself with foul people. We thought you were a lost cause until Abraxas gave us a marvelous idea. Abraxas please do tell them."
Abraxas cleared his throat, "We thought we could save you by making you associate yourself with people like us. People you are supposed to be around."
Sirius couldn't even assimilate what Abraxas was saying. Did they really just insult him, his house, and his friends in just two sentences?
"People I'm supposed to be around? Was is that supposed to mean?" His mother gave him a death glare because of his disobedience, but Abraxas ignored him.
"We think the best way to get you back on the right path and to ensure your family's bloodline is to marry someone that can teach you the ways of being a true Slytherin." Sirius couldn't even hide the look on his face anymore.
"Right path? Marriage? I'm sorry I'm not understanding. Who would 'teach' me to be a true Slytherin?" His words dripped venom.
He doesn't want to marry, especially someone who would be just like their parents. Blood supremacist, spoiled, Slytherins that don't even have an ounce of decency in their bodies.
Abraxas smirks at Sirius almost taunting like, "My daughter, Cassiopea. The ideal Slytherin raised right unlike you, but only time with her will help I'm sure."
The silence was deafening. Tension filled the room. All the kids looked shocked. It was like a slap towards both Sirius and Cassiopea's faces.
"I'm sorry what? But he's a blood traitor father. You can't let her marry a blood traitor. He hangs out with a mudblood and he's a Gryffindor for Merlin's sake." Lucius exclaims in the defence of his little sister. She was still in shock.
Abraxas looked at Sirius, "I've considered that, but I wanted to give Orion and Walburga the benefit of the doubt." He then turns to Sirius, "However if we do not see a change by the age of seventeen or my daughter comes with the complaint that you harmed her in any way then I will see no problem in giving her hand to Rodolphus Lestrange."
Cassiopea's eyes widen. She did not want to marry Rodolphus she knows the type of guy he is and she cannot even imagine how he would be as a husband. Her only choice was to marry the boy in front of her. The blood traitor in everyone's eyes.
"Of course it won't come to that. Sirius will follow in her footsteps most definitely." Walburga exclaims then turns towards her son, "Starting your fifth year you will be sitting at the Slytherin's table whenever you get the chance. You will sit next to your betrothed and will be as far away from your blood-traitors muggle-loving friends and sit with people you are meant to sit with. Is that understood?"
Sirius immediately protested, "Of course not mother. I am a Gryffindor, I will not abandon my house, and I will not abandon my friends, and I will certainly not marry for whatever intervention you want to give me."
The moment he utters those words his mother drew her wand from her pocket making him immediately shut up. The horrors of that wand reminds him of his darkest nightmares.
Cassiopea knew what was going to happen so she chimed in, "I accept." Everyone turned towards her. "I-I accept this arranged marriage and I will be able to change his point of view. He will be a true pureblood by the end of the year I can assure you. When will we be married?"
Walburga smiled at her future daughter-in-law, "The day after you turn seventeen sweetheart."
Sirius scoffed, " I will not accept this arranged marriage. No offense to you Miss Malfoy, but I cannot see myself marrying you or anyone at the age of seventeen."
She looks at him and gives him a small, but genuine smile, "It's not up to us anymore is it?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The way she carried herself down towards the Slytherins table made the Marauders' eyes follow her figure. Her head held up high and her hair gently flowing down her waist. She was a sight for sore eyes.
"You're marrying her?" Peter gawked staring at the girl as she sat down next to her brother.
Since the dinner, the Malfoys were over a lot more. They always made Sirius and her stay together either sitting next to each other at dinners or locking them both in his bedroom.
She would try to speak to him, but he would either ignore her or make a short but harsh comment towards her. It was a miracle his mother never notices.
Sirius turns back towards his friends, "Let's hope not. I can't even imagine getting married to preppy prissy Cassiopea, Slytherin's princess, or as she should be referred to as the princess of darkness."
"Padfoot don't kid yourself. We all know she's the least evil Slytherin there. May I remind you I worked on a project with her and she was really sweet. Merlin knows how she's related to that awful family." Remus added taking a bite of his apple. Sirius rolled his eyes.
"He's right, Lily's books fell on the ground one time, and before I could even blink Cassiopea knelt down and picked it up. I think she just puts on a front." James chimed in with his mouth full of food.
"Plus she's one of the most beautiful girls in Hogwarts. It could've been worst." Peter says. "Don't look now I think she's coming over."
All four guys pretended that they were either stuffing their faces or writing for class.
"Hello, boys." Her angelic voice instantly caused Peter's face to blush. James and Remus smiled kindly at her while Sirius flat out ignored her. "Sirius may I talk to you for a moment."
"I'm quite busy Cassiopea. How about never?" His words caused her to roll her eyes while James kicked his shin. Sirius glared at James.
"Is that a way to talk to your fiancee?" He turned towards her finally looking at her. Peter was right she is one of the most beautiful girls at Hogwarts.
"I don't see a ring on that finger so you are no fiancee of mine and you won't ever be." He then turns back towards his food ignoring the looks his friends are giving him.
"Is there a problem here?" The boys groaned. "Lucius asked me to come and get you, Cassie. He said he'll letter your father again about Black's lack of cooperation."
"Oi Snivellus why don't you sniver off? Don't you have better things to do than to try and get with Sirius' fiancee? You do seem to always want someone you can't ever have." James jokes harshly. Sirius looks at Snape who was currently rolling his eyes.
"Didn't he say just a few seconds ago that she will never be his fiancee? Even though Sirius does not appreciate Cassie does not mean others won't. Others more suitable to be her husband." Sirius couldn't help but glare at the Slytherin in front of him.
"Do you mean someone like you huh Snivellus?" He stands up and gets in his face. Cassiopea immediately tries to stop their confrontation. "I see the way you look at her. It's the same way you used to look at Lily. Just because you can't have one of our girls does not mean you get to try our other ones. But here's the thing you'll never be with her. Even though I'm a blood traitor, Gryffindor, and basically a disgrace in any Slytherin's eyes, Mr. Malfoy chose me to be her husband. Not you. He chose a Gryffindor over you."
"Severus please...let's go. He's not worth it." Cassiopea tries to push him away. All she wanted to do was speak to him she did not think this would be the outcome.
"Oh no no no darling, you said you wanted to speak to me. Okay? Let's go then." He knew it was a dumb choice but all he wanted to do is rile up Snape who was currently glaring at him."Bye Snivellus have fun being alone for the rest of your life." He then grabbed Cassiopea's hand and dragged her out of the Great Hall. He let go after getting outside.
"Did you really had to be that mean to him? You bully him on a daily. That isn't very nice." She scolded feeling bad for her friend. He was only trying to come and save her from further embarrassment.
"And your fellow Slytherins bully almost everyone else here." She rolled her eyes and sat down on the grass. "So what did you want to talk about?"
She gave him a look, "We haven't had a decent conversation since the arrangement. Even if you don't like it, we are still going to get married."
Sirius shook his head, "We can stop it. They'll give up on me real soon when they realize that I won't change."
"You don't understand. I don't want to stop this." Sirius looked at her as if she grew another head.
"Look I know many girls are in love with me, but I'm not one to comm-"
"I'm not in love with you. I just can't marry Rodolphus Lestrange. Please don't let me marry him." Her eyes begged his. He stopped joking around looked into her eyes.
"Why?" Was all he could ask.
She scoffed, " Why? You really need to ask why? He's a cruel man. He never shows anyone an ounce of respect and he treats girls like garbage. He treats females like objects. He tried to raise a hand on me once." She whispered the last part as his eyes widened.  "He asked me out and I rejected him then out of nowhere he got mad and raised his hand to hit me. Thankfully Lucius was there to stop him."
"Why didn't you tell your father?" Sirius couldn't even fathom that a boy would ever try and lay a hand on a female.
"Rodolphus is also pureblood royalty. No matter how much father says he loves my brother and I, he will never argue against a Lestrange. They are the worst of them all. Complete psychos." She looked at her hands, "Which is why I need this marriage to work. Please please don't let me marry him. I know he will abuse me. I know he won't treat me right."
"I understand Cassiopea, but I can't change who I am." He tries to get her to understand but tears fall from her eyes.
She grabs onto his hand, "Please Sirius. I swear I will be a good wife. I'll cook and clean. I'll do whatever you want, please."
"I'm not saying you won't be a good wife, I-jus-how do you even know I'll be a good husband? I can turn out like Rodolphus." She shook her head.
"You're not like any pureblood family Sirius. You don't care about blood status, you don't value anything they value nor you believe what they believe." He tries to stay strong, but the moment he looks at her teary eyes he breaks.
"I won't let you marry Rodolphus I promise you." Her eyes lit up. Hope blossoming inside her. "I'll marry you, but I can't promise that they'll still let me after all the times Lucius complained about me already." She again shakes her head.
"The moment I letter my father saying you spoke to me and agreed to the marriage everything will be forgotten. All I need you to do is once a week sit next to me with the Slytherins just once. Either during lunch or dinner." She could see he was about to protest. "Just enough times for Lucius to write to my father that the plan is working. We just need them to think that I'm changing you. Please, Sirius. I swear I'll do whatever you want, but please just do this for me."
He looked into her crystal blue eyes and nodded, "Okay I'll do it."
She jumped on him giving him a big hug and he returned it. At that moment he promised himself he would do anything to protect her. He can tell that the others were right. She was different from other Slytherins. She's kind and sweet. She's compassionate and empathetic. She's everything he could fall in love with.
After she pulled away he took a small box from his pocket, "I know this isn't what you imagined your proposal to be, but cut me some slack, I wasn't planning this." She giggled and he opened the box. She gasped at the size and beauty of it. "I've had this in my pocket since the dinner. My mother gave me it, it's said to be good luck. Anyways, though I do not fully know you,  I do wish to. We've only spoken a few times before, but I want to change that. Is this proposal made out of love? No. Can it blossom? I hope so because I do not want to end up in a loveless marriage like my parents. So...to me, this ring is a proposal but also a promise, I promise you Cassiopea Alula Malfoy that I will try and be the man you deserve. I promise you that by my side no harm will ever come you. And I promise you that we will go through with the arrangement no matter what. I'll be by your side til the end of our days. It's you and I now Cassiopea. Now, will you make me the happiest wizard in the world and marry me?"
Cassie couldn't stop the happy tears from falling and nodded. Sirius gave her a smile and gently put the ring on her finger. Though the ring was not a sign of love, that was the day both of them started their whirlwind love story.
Maybe a part 2?
His Hufflepuff (Draco Malfoy)
Character: Draco Malfoy Requested: No Type: Fluff/ Angst
Summary: Draco Malfoy falling in love with a Hufflepuff.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
Third Year
"I'll be right back Miss Lavina, I think that Finnigan boy made another explosion. I swear that boy one day is going to come to me bald." Madam Pomfrey rushed towards the door after giving Lavina a reassuring smile.
The day was slow. She already finished her classes for the day so she did what she always does whenever she has free time. She helps out Madam Pomfrey in the infirmary room.
Lavina wanted to take after her mom and become a famous healer. She also understood that it was a tough job so she never wasted any free time she had and always either studied or practiced with Madam Pomfrey.
After charms, she made a beeline to the infirmary. Currently, Lavina was cleaning when Hagrid burst through the door holding a whimpering boy in his arms. She turned around and saw the boy holding onto his arm.
"Merlin, what happened?" She gasped guiding them towards an empty bed. Hagrid laid Draco down as Lavina started running around the room trying to find her wand.
"His bloody chicken broke my arm." Draco cried out obviously being as dramatic as he can be.
"For the last time, it was a Hippogriff!" Hagrid exclaimed. "If you did not provoke BuckBeak then you would not have gotten hurt."
"If you weren't a teacher I would not have gotten hurt." He snaps back not even noticing the girl. Lavina let out a cough to get their attention and both looked at her.
"Currently Madam Pomfrey went out to fix a problem; however she left me here to help out." She then turned towards Hagrid. " I think it may be best for you to leave Hagrid. We don't need for him to get more irritated and I'm sure my peers are missing you as we speak."
Hagrid looked around and then back at her, "Are you sure you can do it without assistance?" The girl laughed. Draco just stared at her confused on why she was there but hey if she can make the oaf leave he'll let her do whatever she wants.
"I'm positive Hagrid relax. Dumbledore gave me permission to help out here and Madam Pomfrey wouldn't leave her infirmary to just anyone. He'll be good as new." He nods after gaining a reassuring smile from her then walked towards the door without glancing back at the boy.
Lavina then smiled kindly at the boy, "Now that he's gone may you tell me what happened?"
Draco stared at her in shock. Anyone would have believed Hagrid and just blame it on Draco; however, this girl is giving him a chance to tell his side of the story.
"I swear I did not mean to provoke that chicken. I was just annoyed that Potter had all the attention...again. It then lashed out on me and now I'm here." She nodded and reached out her arm carefully as if asking permission if she could touch his arm. He gave her a stiff nod.
He felt her soft hands gently touching his arm. Besides his mother, he never felt such gentle and warm hands before. Though he liked the attention he was receiving he noticed her yellow and black tie from her robes.
"You're a Hufflepuff?" He grimaced in light disgust. How could someone as beautiful and soft as her be in Hufflepuff? The more he looked at her the more he understood. Her whole aura was soft and sweet. He's seen her in class when Slytherins and Hufflepuffs have class, but never at any quidditch games or other social gatherings.
"And you're a Slytherin." She added back with a smile not taking his question as an insult. It quite amused her how close-minded he was. She then got up and grabbed a flask. "Here drink up its Bruisewort Balm it should help with the bruising that the 'chicken' gave you."
He quirked an eyebrow, "This feels a lot more than a bruise. Shouldn't we wait for Madam Pomfrey?"
She scoffed knowing well that he shouldn't be doubting her knowledge, "You're in good care. I swear she wouldn't leave her infirmary alone without someone who she knew could take care of a patient. Plus I'm assuming with the fractured wrist you have that you fell to the ground."
He stared at her for a moment and nodded then drank the flask without any more doubts. If something were to happen to him at least his last view would be of someone as beautiful as her.
"Well, I'm assuming with the knowledge you have the care I can see you have that you want to be a healer?" She nods enthusiastically.
She held her wand out towards his wrist, "Brackium Emendo"  He could feel his wrist healing. "I want to follow in my mother's footsteps. She's a healer at St. Mungos. I told Madam Pomfrey that I wanted to be a healer and now she's training me. I've always wanted to help others and heal what's making them hurt." He saw the sparkle in her eye when she said that.
It was admirable to be that passionate at a young age. He wishes he could say the same. With the strict and unloving way of his father, he had no aspirations because deep down he knew that his life would take a dark turn in the future just like much of his family members.
"Well, I'm glad that I'm in such good hands. I can tell you're going to be a magnificent healer." She looked confused. She has heard plenty about the type of person Draco is. She hasn't expected him to be this way with her. Maybe it was the medication.
"Was that a compliment? I'm shocked." He gave her a genuine smile. He already felt better physically and mentally too. He felt calm and relaxed around her. If his family ever found out he had this type of connection with a Hufflepuff they would be livid.
"Well, get used to it. You'll be hearing plenty of them."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sixth year
Lavina was sneakily following a Slytherin down the halls. The Slytherin she had been dating for a year now.
Since formally meeting at the infirmary in their third year they became the best of friends shocking everyone. The golden trio had a hard time trying to process that the notorious Slytherin could be acquainted with the sweet Hufflepuff. But you know what they say opposites attract.
As years went on their friendship blossomed into something bigger. He gained the courage and finally asked her out at the beginning of the fifth year and of course, she said yes.
They were the talk of the year. Wherever he went she was right beside him. Wherever she went he was always around with an arm wrapped around her waist.
They even met each other's family. To the surprise of most, Narcissa and Lucius approved of Lavina. At first, they scoffed when they heard that she was a Hufflepuff, but then relaxed when they found out she's a pureblood. When they met her they fell in love with her. Even Lucius learned to care for the young girl. She warmed her way to the Malfoy's heart.
They cared about each other more than they cared about themselves. When Voldemort came back their bond got even stronger. After gaining the dark mark he cried for days on end and of course, Lavina was right beside him hugging him as hard as she could.
With the task that the dark lord placed upon him Lavina could tell it was getting to him. His skin drained from color, his eyes with no more spark of happiness, his body frail, and his mind a mess.
The moment she saw him pull on his tie roughly and saw the panicked look in his eyes she finally made herself known.
She saw him rush into the bathroom and unhesitantly walked inside.
"Draco..." Her angelic voice causes the boy to turn towards her and rushed to her arms. She could feel his tears drop on her shoulder but she didn't care.
"You shouldn't have come." He muttered holding her as tight as he could. She and his mother were the most important people in his life. He can't lose either of them. He would rather die protecting them than let anything happen.
She pulled away and gently placed her hands on his cheek, "My love when will you understand that wherever you go I follow. To the ends of the Earth if need be. I love you."
He leaned into her touch enjoying her presence and the love radiating from her body.
"And I love you. So much more." He rested his forehead on hers. His love for her is unmatched. He never thought he would ever feel this way towards anyone. He never thought he deserved love as pure as what they have. All he knows is that no matter what he'll protect her. He has to. She's his everything. And he's hers.
"I know what you did, Malfoy."  The couple jumped at the voice. Draco immediately pushed Lavina behind him. "You hexed her didn't you." Harry walked closer. Lavina grabbed onto Draco's hand tightly and he squeezed it in reassurance even though she could tell he was worried. She wished she didn't leave her wand in her room.
Draco knows that Harry suspected him of all the failed attempts of murder and it made everything harder for him.
He knows Harry wasn't going to back down and with the love of his life behind him in harm's way he knows he couldn't talk his way out of this one.
He quickly drew out his wand watching as Harry did the same. Draco throws a hex in Harry's direction which misses him by inches and shatters the lamp beside him.
Lavina grabbed tighter onto Draco as he blocks Harry's jinx. She could hear Moaning Myrtle screaming.
There was a loud bang and the bin behind Harry exploded. Draco took this opportunity to grab onto Lavina and guide her towards the door.
"Draco I'm not leaving you." Lavina protested screaming as Draco pushed her away from one of Harry's spells.
He quickly shoved them towards a stall, "You have to leave now Lavina. Please do as I say. Nothing can harm you, not when I'm around." He kisses her quickly and pushes her towards the door then runs to find Harry.
Harry attempted a Leg-Locker Curse that backfired off the wall behind Malfoy's ear and smashed the cistern beneath Moaning Myrtle, who screamed loudly; water poured everywhere.
Draco was breathing heavily. This was not how tonight was supposed to go. He quietly walks around kneels down trying to see if he's near any of the stalls. When they both see each other they both throw spells at one another.
Draco immediately runs back to the sinks limping. Out of nowhere, he sees Lavina rushing to him.
"Draco are you alright? We must go." She checks him all over.
"W-what are you still doing here. Go!" He yells trying to get her out of harm's way. He had his back towards the now crawling Harry.
"I wasn't going to leave you alone. You should know better than that. Now come on let's go." She grabs onto his arm looking around to see if there were any signs of danger. Then out of the corner of her eye, she could see Harry waving his wand at Draco's back.
"SECTUMSEMPRA!" bellowed Harry from the floor. To Draco, everything went in slow motion.
One minute he was about to escape with the love of his life and the next he feels her push him roughly to the ground. Due to the injuries, he already obtained due to the duel it took him a bit to realize what happened.
All he heard was silence.
He got up wincing. He feels the coldness of his wet clothes. He pushes himself up and turns around to find out the reason why she pushed him and the moment his eyes fell to her fallen figure his eyes welled up in tears.
"No no no no no." He mutters rushing towards her body. There were large gashes on her abdomen. Blood poured out causing the water to redden. It was supposed to be him. He was the one who was supposed to get hit with the unknown spell, not her. Not the love of his life.
He knelt down by her side ignoring the water surrounding them, "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry." He cried out. "It was supposed to be me. Why did you do that? Goddamit Lavina why?"
"Shh, darling. It's okay. I'm okay." She coaxes as if it weren't she who was bleeding out.
"Sweetheart I'm going to need you to tell me a healing spell I can use." Her eyes flutter, "Lavina don't you dare close your eyes. You can't leave me. P-please don't leave me."
He tries to think and curses at himself for never paying attention to Lavina when she told him to study with her. But he had to do something.
"Lavina keep those pretty eyes open my love." He demands crying harshly not caring that Potter could kill him at any moment. At this point, he would let him. He tried to stop the bleeding but nothing was working. Her blood kept oozing out.
"Malfoy I-" Harry tried to speak taking a step closer to see if he could help. He didn't expect that spell to do that much damage. And he certainly didn't expect for the spell to hit Lavina.
His eyes sharpened at Harry. His wand ready to shoot any hex. He protectively rushed in front of his love to stop him from doing any more damage. "Don't come any closer."
"I-I'm sorry. I swear I didn't want Lavi-"
"Don't you dare say her name." Harry watched as Draco's tears rush down his face. He never saw this side of him.  His hair was disheveled, his hands shaky, and worst of all the fear evident in his eyes.
"Draco." At that moment Snape came rushing into the room. His eyes immediately go to the bloody body. His gasp almost inaudible. His favorite student on the ground barely moving and blood all around her.
"You have to help her...please. I'm begging you." Draco pleads ignoring Harry's presence. He sees Snape give Potter a look which made the boy run after taking a quick look at the body.
Snape stares at her wounds and hovers his wand over her. Draco grabs her hand lightly begging any superior force to save her life. The bloody water starts to clear up as the blood starts disappearing.
"She's going to be fine. There will only be a scar, but we have to take her to the hospital wing just in case." Draco immediately carries her limp body and rushes towards Madam Pomfrey. His mind punishing himself for his failure to protect the love of his life.
"Oh my." Madam Pomfrey cries out grabbing onto her protege.
After a few hours and many potions later, Draco finds himself sitting beside an unconscious Lavina on the hospital bed. He couldn't move from his spot. He wouldn't move from his spot. He's going to be there the moment she wakes up and he's going to hug her and never let her go.
He doesn't deserve her he knows that tonight was the result of that. He almost lost her. He was so close to losing her. He can't imagine a life without her bright yellow and black tie or her beautiful bright smile or the angelic sound of her voice.
He grabbed onto her hand and placed a light kiss on it, " I love you more than life itself. I need you. Please come back to me."
"Don't you ever listen to me? To the ends of the earth, I'll be right by your side. See not even an unknown spell can't tear me away from you."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
19 Years Later
"Scorpius I swear to Merlin if you don't get your behind down here I will get up there and drag you myself. With or without your hair gel." Lavina yells putting the jacket on her five-year-old daughter, Ascella while carrying the youngest child, Atlas on her hip.
"My love do you really have to yell I was just having a moment with our son before he leaves." She turns around glaring at the white-haired duo. Merlin, they were identical.
"Yes father told me great things about the school and I cannot wait to be sorted into Slytherin." The last word made Lavina quirk an eyebrow.
"You know you have half Hufflepuff blood in you too Scorp. Hufflepuff isn't so bad." She kneels down by her son.
"But father says that's where loser-"
Draco immediately covered his son's mouth and threw him over his shoulder, "Didn't you say that we were going to be late if we don't get a move on. Let's go and completely forget about this conversation."
Lavina playfully glared at her husband, "We'll talk about that later Mr. Malfoy. Now go to the Chimneys. Draco go with Ascella and Scorp since they do not know how to use Floo powder, I'll go with Atlas." Watching Draco, Ascella, and Scorp leaving a smile grew on her face.
It's been 19 long years since the battle of Hogwarts. After the confrontation with Harry, Draco never left Lavina's side. Wherever she went he followed, wherever he went she followed. Since Draco was on the dark side, Lavina sided with her husband, not for evil, but to protect him. To shield him from anything and everything.
During the Battle of Hogwarts Draco stood by Lavina with the students. The moment his father and mother called for them one look at Lavina made him want to stay and fight. They did. They fought back to back against any and every death eater.
Protecting each other.
Loving each other.
Winning for each other
After the war, it took Lavina about a year to make Draco realize that he never really had the choice and the moment he did have to choose he chose the right side. Two years after that they got engaged and a few months after that they got married.
It took Lavina five years to finally get pregnant with her firstborn, Scorpius. They were both ecstatic at the news. Lucius and Narcissa were too. Lucius was happy that his bloodline continued while Narcissa was just happy to become a grandmother.
Then another six years passed before they got their little princess. Draco, Lucius, and Narcissa were excited to spoil the baby girl and boy they did. Just a mere three years later their youngest, Atlas was born.
The family of five were still purebloods and very rich, however with Lavina as the wife and mother she raised her kids to be accepting and kind. To be humble and compassionate. To treat others the way they would want to be treated. And thankfully Draco couldn't have agreed more.
Once Lavina with Atlas on her hip makes it to Platform 9 3/4 they immediately spot the rest of their family.
"Took you a while love, you alright?" She nodded as he kissed her cheek then baby Atlas.
"You have your jumper right?" She questioned the young boy as he pointed to this jacket that was already on him, "You have your sickles and galleons right?" He pointed to his pockets., "How about your-"
"Mom I have everything. Don't fret. Grandpa gave me plenty of galleons when we visited him last week." He smirks looking exactly like his father.
"You don't say." She gives Draco a look making him smile sheepishly knowing she didn't like when his father gives the kids money. Though Lucius is sometimes intimidating he really does adore his grandchildren. Both he and Narcissa love to spoil them.
Lavina started to tear up when the driver called out for takeoff in a few minutes. She can't believe her oldest child is off to Hogwarts. It was like yesterday it was her first day and now she's here with her family sending off her child.
She wrapped her arms around to hug him. Atlas also wrapped his tiny hands around his brother. After a few seconds, she knelt in front of him, "It does not matter what house you belong to. We will be supportive okay?"
"Are you sure because father wants me to be a Sl-"
"He married a Hufflepuff. We are loyal, patient, and extremely kind. However, I do not care if you don't get sorted there. Any house would be honored to gain such a powerful wizard."  She kissed his cheek and went to stand by her husband. "Right Darling?"
He playfully rolled his eyes, "Any house except for Hufflepuff is alright by me." She elbowed him hard, "I'm only joking. Relax sweetheart. Scorp your mother and I will be proud of you in any house. Now get a move on or else they'll leave without you.
After saying goodbyes and giving out hugs Scorpius walked onto the train. Draco and Lavina were looking around to see if they could see him and finally they saw the gelled back white hair. He was sitting next to Cerelia Zabini.
"Oh, Merlin not with a Zabini. My child will not be dating someone related to that twat." Draco scoffed. He loves Blaise but just as a friend he can't even try to imagine him as family.
"Sod off. He's making friends isn't that what's important?" He rolled his eyes. They all waved as the train takes off. "Plus she's very sweet and kind. What if she's a Hufflepuff and Scorp is a Slytherin? Dear, it'll be like us all over again."
"Don't even joke about it." She glared at him but he just smirked. "I'm only joking love, you know every Slytherin needs a charming Hufflepuff...I know I did."
She smiles at him, he couldn't help but be in awe of her, "Now let's go home, Mr. Malfoy."
"Right behind you Mrs. Malfoy and mini Malfoys." He wrapped his arm around her. Both looking at each other's eyes just thinking about the first time they met.
Who knew him flipping off that 'chicken' would get him to this very moment, sending off his first child with the love of his life to Hogwarts?  Definitely not him. But he wouldn't have it any other way.

Rivalry Type of  Love (Oliver Wood)
Tumblr media
Character: Oliver Wood Requested: No  Type: Fluff/Mild Angst
Summary: Aria Blackwood is the quidditch captain of Ravenclaw and is secretly going out with Gryffindor quidditch captain Oliver Wood even though they are rivals. One foul exposes them all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I swear to Merlin if you lot don't get a move on you will miss the train." Aria's father sighs walking hastily down the train station pushing his youngest daughter's luggage. They overslept a bit and having three procrastinators as children made them thirty minutes later than planned.
"Well, I'm bloody sorry that you walk like a mad man even mother agrees that you are going too fast." His oldest daughter Aria retorted making the poor man roll his eyes.
The Blackwood family finally arrived at the platform they were supposed to be on. It was their oldest and only son's last year at Hogwarts, Aria's fifth year, while it was their youngest child, Aurora's first year.
"Okay, Blackwood clan. Let's go in order. Augustus you first." Her father called out stepping aside and letting their son stop in front of the wall. He smiled at his family then ran into the wall successfully going through. "Okay, now Ari your turn."
As Aria was about to run her little sister called out, "Can I do it with Ari please?"
Aria looked at her father who shrugged at his daughter's request. She then gave her sister a smile," Come on Rory get on." She waited for her little sister to jump on her luggage. "The important step to get through is running. You don't want to be caught in the middle."
"What happens if we do get caught in the middle?" Aurora questions looking up at her sister.
"Bad things happen." Aria spookily responds making the little one widen her eyes.
"She's kidding Aurora. Come on let's get a move on. Train leaves in about ten minutes." Her mother calls out making Aurora give her oldest sister a glare for scaring her.
"Ready?" Aurora puts her thumb up then holds onto the cart as Aria runs through the wall making it to Platform 9 3/4. Aria smirks as she sees her little sister gawk around her. She was always left at home with the elves when August and Aria had to leave so she never really seen the platform. "Cool huh?"
Her mother tears up looking at her children all together ready to leave the nest, "Get on the train before I start to cry. I'll miss you all so much"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Where is the sweets lady? She should've been here by now. Goddamit. Aria let's go before I die." Kelsey one of her best friends walks out making Aria roll her eyes.
"You're not going to die if you don't have your sweets." Kelsey stopped and glared at her best friend.
"Still...I don't want to risk it let's go."
"Do you guys want anything?" She looks around at her friend group and they shook their heads. She then caught up with Kelsey who was already halfway to the cart. "You really couldn't have waited?"
"If I waited everything could've been sold out," Kelsey said as if it made the most sense. They finally made it to the sweets lady and they ordered two pumpkin pastries, two sugar quills, a few candy strips, and Bertie Bott's jelly beans.
"You do know that much sugar is unhealthy. You're going to need the best diet to keep your stamina up if you want to win the cup." They both turned and scowled once they saw the familiar red and yellow scarves. Oliver and Lee.
"Are you a doctor  Wood?" Aria stared into the boy's eyes. He turned to his friend who was also confused.
"Pardon?"
"Are you a doctor?" Her friend was about to burst out laughing but contained herself. The two boys were still very much confused.
"No-"
"Then you have no say in what I or Kelsey eat. Our stamina still beat your team last year." She snapped at the quidditch player.
"You had Theo last year. Now it's different because I am the captain. Plus without Theo how is Ravenclaw going to survive?" He smirks full of confidence knowing dam well he was getting under Kelsey's skin. The two girls rolled their eyes.
"And the team has me now. Let's see how this will work out.  And I don't think I remember asking for your opinion Ollie." She had a rivalry with him since her third year when he caught the quaffle that was so close to giving them a point and winning but caused them to lose.
"Are you still mad about the third year? Ria, it's my duty to stop that quaffle." Oliver added knowing well she was not still mad at him. He's been trying to flirt with her since fourth year. It's been two years and all he got was a drunken make-out session last year after the Ravenclaw win, but three months ago they started to get to know each other and it seems like it's getting somewhere. They just need to keep their rivalry up.
Her friend glared at the two Gryffindor boys, "If you call her Ria one more time I will make it my life's mission to hit you in the head with a bludger. You know make it a repeat of first year." She then grabbed Aria's arm and stormed off.
"Thank you." Aria smiled at the lady and turned to walk back to their seats with Kelsey. Her just ignoring the two Gryffindors."Kels we need to find 3 more players. A seeker and two beaters. Good ones. If not we're going to lose to him and I don't think I'll be able to hand-"
Someone bumped into Aria when they walked past her making her fall back. She waited for impact but instead felt arms around her. She looked up and groaned.
"Falling for me now huh lassie?" His stupid smirk evident on his face as she got up hastily and pushes him off. Aria glares at the boy knowing the meaning behind his words and walks away. "What? So no thank you for saving you?"
"Oh sod off Wood!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh sod off Wood?" Oliver mocks as Aria and him were sitting in the corner of the library away from everyone. They've been secretly seeing each other for the last three months; however, nothing was official...yet.
They decided not to display their relationship because they both did not want anyone else meddling. With both being first-year quidditch captains of opposing teams they wanted their attention to be on the sport not them as a couple.
"You were teasing me. I had to make it believable or else Kels would think I lost it." She smiles at Oliver as he kisses her hand
"Kelsey really does hate me though. I wonder why." He smirks down at her knowing that she was the one to make her dislike him. They are best friends and she did have a rivalry with him.
"Oh shut it Wood. I swear to Merlin you better not be stupid and get her even more annoyed. She can barely stand you." He rolls his eyes. One day she'll have to at least tolerate him when she finds out he's dating her best friend.
"She'll have to stand me sooner or later lassie." It was her turn to roll her eyes. They sat in silence for a bit before he smirks, "You know who's facing off at the first game?" She shook her head in confusion.
"Ravenclaw and Gryffindor."
~~~~~~~~~~
"Guys it's the first game and fortunately for us, it's against Gryffindor. We need to go out there and crush their arrogant ass, dumbass, wanna be brave ass, everything ass into pieces. This is our shot to prove that us so-called nerds can be athletic too." Aria looks around at her team consisting of herself, two other fifth years, one sixth year, two fourth years, and one third year.
This year was Aria's first year as captain so she felt a huge amount of pressure to get her team back to the top. She knew so much was riding on her back, but she tries to ignore it and just savor the moment.
Everyone started getting hyped up and ready for the game. She smiled at Kelsey as the doors opened. Each time she felt amazed at the sight. Hundreds of people cheering and yelling wearing their house colors. This feeling is something she never wants to forget.
"Welcome back everyone to the first  Quidditch match of the season! Today Gryffindor is going against Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw won last year with Theo Amerson's leadership and now Aria Blackwood is the new captain. Will she lead the Ravenclaw's to victory or will she crumble in the hands of Oliver wood. Let's see who is the superior team! Now, let's welcome our teams. First Gryffindor!"
Lee Jordan's voice boomed through the mic as the red and yellow house roared for their team.
Aria watched from the ground as the Gryffindor team flew onto the field, throwing their hands in the air. She saw the twins take a lap together and she shook her head smiling a bit.
Aria took a deep breath as she gets in positions, "Let's make Theo proud okay? Eagles you ready?"
"Yes!"
"Let's win this thing."
"Now for our last year champions Ravenclaw!"  Everyone flew out. The whole team takes one big lap around the field with our arms out like eagles. As Captains Aria and Oliver were face to face ready for Madam Hooch to walk towards the pitch.
"Ready to lose?" His cocky voice made her roll her eyes.
"In your dreams Wood."
"Good luck." She heard him mutter and she looked at him to see him giving her a small smile not wanting to give anything away.
She smiled and winked at him, "Right back at ya." Then went back to their own position as Chaser and Keeper after shaking hands.
Madam Hooch stands on the ground below us "I want a clean match, ya hear me!? No magic and no wands, understood!?" she spoke, looking at both teams. Madam Hooch opens the box and the snitch and bludger are released. After a couple of seconds, she lifts up the quaffle from the box and holds it up.
Aria tightened her grip on her broom, ready to launch at the quaffle once she throws it. Hooch smiles before tossing the quaffle in the air, causing Lee to shout once more "And let the games begin!"
Aria and Angelina dove to grab the quaffle. Aria makes it before Gryffindor does and zooms towards one of the rings.
"Too slow Johnson better luck next time."  She can see that Oliver was already waiting for her so she passed it to Kelsey and she threw it at the hoop barely making it but scoring nonetheless.
"10 POINTS FOR RAVENCLAW! These eagles really know how to work together. Theo's memory is living in all of us at the moment."
"Mr. Jordan, Amerson is very much alive."
"I know but it's a special moment Professor, don't ruin it."
After an hour both teams were tied with 120 points each. Neither seekers were able to find the snitch.
Aria was getting a bit annoyed by how long it's been and no team had one-upped each other.
She quickly grabs the ball from Angelina and Katie, "You really need to speed it up a bit babes. You're losing your speed."
Angelina glared at the Ravenclaw. They had a rivalry since  Aria was the chaser of Ravenclaw and Angelina was the chaser of Gryffindor. It didn't help that Oliver always compared the two.
Out of pure instinct and rage, Angelina steals the bat from George's hand.
"I'll show you speed," Angelina mutters and hits the bludger so hard towards the brunette who was about to throw the quaffle towards the hoop.
"ARIA WATCH OUT!" She hears Kelsey's voice, she lets go of the quaffle and sees Oliver looking at her worry filling his eyes. He flies towards her making her confused but before she could say anything she feels a sharp pain in her back. The pain overwhelmed her making her lose her balance and fall off the broom towards the ground.
"Seems like Johnson's and Blackwood's bad blood got even bloodier with that foul shot."
"Mr. Jordan, not the right time."
"I'm sorry."
Oliver and Kelsey tried to catch her but they were too slow. Everyone winced as Aria's body plummets to the ground. The game immediately stopped. Ravenclaws and her siblings were the first ones at her side. Oliver quickly trying to make it on the ground. Worry surged through his veins as he finally looks upon an unconscious and pale girl splattered on the floor not moving.
"We need to get Madam Pomfrey she's not moving." Kelsey cried out as Aria's brother picked her up as gently as she could and rushed towards the infirmary with his little sister at her side. Everyone started leaving while gossiping about what just happened.
Oliver tried to follow the unconscious girl, but Kelsey pushed him back roughly with tears in her eyes, "Don't you dare follow her. Not after what your fucking chaser did."
"My chaser. Not me. I didn't know she was going to do that. Kelsey, I'm sorry. You have to believe me. I would never want to hurt Ria." His eyes pleading. His heart was in two and all he wanted to do was rush towards the hospital and see his other half.
She was about to respond until she looked behind him and saw that the Gryffindors finally all made it down to the ground.
"Cap." Fred calls out making Oliver roll his eyes. They really had bad timing.
"I think your team wants you. Actually give me a moment." Before he could stop her she stalked her way to Angelina. The twins stood in front of her trying to stop Kelsey of doing anything. "I better not see you near Aria ever again or else Merlin himself wouldn't even be able to help after I'm done with you. Now if you excuse me I should leave before I beat a bitch up" She yells the last part towards Angelina before running towards the infirmary to get to her friend. Oliver was furious, not that the game ended in a tie, but about the foul that his own teammate made and the fact that his crush was immobilized by his own friend.
"What the hell was that Johnson?" He wailed his arms around. He couldn't believe that out of his team Angelina would've been the one to lose it.
"I'm sorry okay? I wasn't think-"
"Of course you weren't thinking. Who does that? Blackwood could've died. She could be seriously injured." He interrupted her the whole team stood quietly not wanting to feel their captain's wrath.
"Okay, I said I was sorry. What more do you want from me? She was tempting me and I snapped. Was it wrong of me to do so? Yes. Did she deserve it? Also yes. She's probably fine." Angelina tried to lighten up her captain, but he wasn't budging.
Her words made him angrier," This is just unbelievable. Johnson, I was really tempted of giving you the leadership position when I leave but that definitely flew out the window. You let your anger take over. You were the one who committed the foul, you were the one to steal your teammate's bat, and you were the one who injured Ravenclaw's captain and made her fall. She wasn't moving Angelina. Do you think that's okay? Merlin, no matter what someone says you just ignore it. You don't stoop this low. You never should stoop this low." He was about to walk away but Angelina decided it was a smart decision to open her mouth.
"You're just mad that I hit your girlfriend." Oliver snapped his head towards her. The whole team's eyes widen but didn't do nor say anything. "You think we're that stupid? We know you were fraternizing with the enemy. Just because she's your girlfriend does not mean she's going to get special treatment." Oliver couldn't even believe what she was saying.
"Nice going Ang." George muttered shaking his head taking back his bat then standing next to his twin as they all wait to see how this plays out.
"First of all, it's none of your business who I see. And she's not the enemy Johnson. She's a first-year captain wanting to win the cup for her team just like I am. And just because we are on different sides does not mean we have to hate each other. I like her a lot. I'm not asking you to give her special treatment. I just wished you knew not to take someone else's position and injure another athlete. No matter if it was her or not, you are still in the wrong. You guys can hit the showers, I have to go to the infirmary." Oliver walked away as he heard that McGonagall took 100 points from Gryffindor and suspended Angelina for the next two games.
He made it to the infirmary and walked towards the bed Madam Pomfrey pointed to. He saw that the only people with her were her siblings and Kelsey.
"What the hell are you doing here Wood? Did you want to come and gloat?" The seventh-year mocked as the first year glared at him from her brother's side.
"I just wanted to know if she's okay?" He said trying to not look into her brother's glares.
"Well, thanks to your chaser she hit her head hard on the ground. She should be waking up within an hour with all the potions she had. She also had a small crack on her spine, but Poppy fixed it no thanks to your bloody team. And here I thought that Slytherins were the cheaters." Her brother snapped getting up and walking to face him.
"I don't want to fight," Oliver muttered trying to back away from the freakishly tall man.
"Fun I guess it'll be one-sided then." Her brother cracks his knuckles and before he's able to do anything a voice stopped them.
"Gus relax. He's the guy I've been telling you about so please don't hurt him. He's not even my boyfriend yet here you are intimidating him.." Her brother looked at her and back at him not believing what she just said.
"Him? He's the guy you're seeing?!"
"You're seeing Wood!?"
"Oh my, Merlin you're dating? That's so cute. A forbidden romance."
"Aurora shut up."
Everyone was shocked about the sudden news. More so her older brother and her best friend.
"I appreciate you guys for being here but can you leave for a moment so I can speak with him, please. It'll just be a few minutes I promise." Gus and Kelsey were about to refute but Aurora grabbed onto their arms and pulled them towards the door not without giving them a wink.
He walked in, his hands insides his pockets not knowing if she's going to be mad at him or break what they had.
"I'm so sorry. I-I didn't know she was going to do that. I swear on quidditch I never wanted nor thought she would do something like that. When I saw your body falling to the ground my heart stopped. I-I almost lost you because of my own t-team." He rambled apologetically rushing to her side and carefully kissing her hand.
"Are you done now?" He nodded getting ready to accept rejection. "I'm not mad at you. I'm really not. It's not your fault. It was mine. I was irritating her. I deserved it."
He shook his head instantly, "No matter what you could've said it does not condone violence let alone an action that could've led to more injuries."
"You worry too much." She smiles at him as he rolls his eyes.
"You don't worry enough."
"I love you." The words made him freeze. He was not expecting those words to fall from her lips. They weren't even dating. "And I want you to be my boyfriend. I'm ready to tell everyone about us. I'm sorry I had to get hit by a bludger to make me realize that I'm bloody lucky to have you with me. "
He looked at her lovingly rubbing her knuckles with his thumb, "I love you too. A lot. I want you to be my girlfriend so of course, I accept. But there's a little problem." She quirked an eyebrow. "Angelina sort of exposed our relationship to the whole team. I'm sure the school knows about us already."
"Well, I'm glad I have to stay the rest of the day in bed rest. You my lovely boyfriend can keep me company. We'll see tomorrow what happens." He smiles at her and kisses her forehead.
"I love you "
"And I love you more."

Hi guys!
Fun fact: I quickly get obsessed with random fictional characters/celebrities. And because of that, it makes me want to write random one-shots of anyone I am currently obsessed with.
Current fandoms/celebrities that I am taking requests for:
Harry Potter (Riddle Era, Marauders Era, Golden Trio Era)
Marvel (Any Avengers)
Hunger Games (& TBOSAS)
Criminal Minds (Mostly Hotch and Reid)
Twilight (Vampires and Wolf Pack)
I will add more to the list as time goes on.
Please Request!!! I sometimes get stumped with ideas, so request whatever you want. I can do angst, fluff, smut, etc.
Be as specific or as vague as you want! (The more specific the details are, the better it'll come out)
