So there you are, guys. According to this idiot, if you like Loid, you’re a real admirer. If you like Yor, you’re a simp. Because female characters apparently exist only for eyecandy, regardless of how well written they are.

Since I like both of them (just favoring Yor a bit more, but both are precious), what does this make me? 🤔

This. Trash takes like these are exactly what I’m talking about. It’s more saddening that people even upvote this. And trust me, it’s not even just 5-10 people. Quite a few crazy fans, who think they could have a chance with Loid if it wasn’t for Yor, are hating on Yor. They just don’t get too vocal to avoid backlash.

Also this usually happens with female characters. I swear female characters get so much more unjust hate than male characters. And I’m not saying that male characters should get unjust hate. I’m saying that the hate for female characters is very strong. I’m just sad those trash actually got into Spy x Family fandom too. :/

And many other hate comments about Yor… I’m so done with people misinterpreting Yor’s character and the story in general. I’m too tired to try to write a post to debunk all those points. Even if I did, I don’t think haters would be capable of understanding. I don’t want to check any Spy x Family discussions outside of Tumblr anymore. Otherwise, I’m gonna stop enjoying this series.

Sure, I respect people’s rights to state their opinions, but I certainly don’t respect some of those opinions themselves. Especially when they are objectively wrong.

I just hope I won’t wake up to hate floods from people who think that Loid is just too good for Yor. Oh well.

Hey guys. I’ve been into S x F for a while, and also like Twiyor quite a bit. I’d like to follow some fellow TwiYor fans who might also be open to have some discussions. I’m kind of awkward/tentative when it comes to poking people recently, so I’d be ever so thankful if I could find people via this post.

I just came across this… story with the synopsis of Yor “cheating” on Loid with some stranger. I have to say, everything about Yor in that story screams “OOC”. I just don’t think this concept of cheating can ever work for Yor or Loid. Even if I ignore the wholesomeness of Spy x Family, they’re not the type to cheat on someone. Besides, I feel like Yor just wouldn’t go for any casual hook ups. Soooo… ehhhh…

I still had to reread some Spy x Family stuff to remind myself of the wholesomeness.

So I’ve come to the conclusion that to finally exorcise all of my SaiTeru thoughts, I need to ramble about just what makes them so good together (in my eyes).

This entire post is just my very own personal perspective, of course; so you can pretty much mentally attach an IMHO to everything.

Update: SouKana/FMP! Week

Hey Everyone!

Mika here with a quick update regarding the SouKana/FMP! Week we’d been planning with the fandom!

While Altraya and I have done some planning from the background, we’ve run into a bit of a setback in the execution of this years’ SouKana/FMP! Week. Alty’s computer is apparently dying, and isn’t even staying on long enough for her to check her email, let alone do anything constructive toward the event. My computer is fine, but Alty’s the one who usually works with all the details, while I’m the one who helps to provide things like possible prompts and other ideas from what’s been submitted. The whole thing takes both of us to make it work as seamlessly as possible, and with one of us down, it makes things a bit more difficult.

This is in no way saying that we plan to scrap the week!!

We do still want to finish the project and help host a week that’ll let everyone join in and have fun, and keep the spirit of FMP! and its characters alive. But with these issues, we’re going to have to place things on a pause until Alty can get her computer fixed or replaced. This may take a while, but just know that as soon as she’s able to get back up and running, we’re likely gonna be looking at launching the week as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we can, and will, of course still operate as usual (answering questions, posting official/fanart, etc.). We’re both still here, and love hearing from everyone, and feel free to continue making suggestions on what we can do for both the SouKana/FMP! week, or if there’s a certain character or story event/point you’d like us to help explain and expand on for you. As always, thank you to everyone who have been so patient with us, and we’re glad you’re part of our FMP! family!
