I really wanted to get a piece for Mabel and Dipper’s 21st birthday art out today. This isn’t completed, but it’s late and I’m tired and I think this is as good as I’m gonna get tonight.

All in all, not too shabby, considering a) I started at noon, and b) I don’t really have any experience with shading and lighting.

Dipper’s beanbag chair is red because Her Grace, Double Pines, once did a piece involving a treehouse, a beanbag chair, and a blowjob. That beanbag chair was red.

So I made this one red, imagining it to be something of a backstory for that one. Before that beanbag chair was moved up to the treehouse, it used to be in Dipper’s room, and he sat it in and read books.

2 weeks off school because coronavirus, and I’m gonna dedicate this time to ART!

This piece is inspired by the fic Be Okay, although it’s not a scene from the fic per se. Playing around with textures in Krita + shameless starry night derivative + the obligatory pinecest piece that goes hard for the star symbolism, which it seems like every pinecest artist has done at least once.

I want to try my hand at drawing again, so here we go: Mando-Dad and Yodita!

Based off the samurai-with-cat picture. After looking at a couple screenshots of Mando-Dad’s weapon I couldn’t really figure out how it worked, and I was running out of steam by that point, so I just copied the original. It might not be his weapon of choice, but I bet Mando-Dad knows his way around a sword.
