Maybe right now I don’t need love. 4 September 2022 — Situs Batu Bale dianggap sebagai peninggalan purbakala zaman batu (megalitikum). Situs yang berada di antara ladang warga ini terdiri atas susunan beberapa batu besar –satu batu lebar datar dengan satu batu besar di ujungnya dan batu lainnya yang berserakan– Kalau untuk sejarahnya sendiri, secara harfiah Bale dapat diartikan sebagai rumah atau bangunan. Nah batu yang ditempatkan pada ujung batu lebar disebut menhir, menhir bisa juga berdiri sendiri tanpa ditumpuk diatas batu lainnya. Biasanya menhir memiliki pahatan pola tertentu (aku ngga melihat adanya pahatan pada situs ini). 11 Juli 2021 — Candi Risan merupakan candi yang berlatar belakang agama Buddha, dibuktikan dengan beberapa bangunan bercorak agama buddha dan adanya Arca Awalokiteswara (emanasi/pancaran amitabha -buddha yang menempati arah mata angin sebelah barat). Arca yang pernah dicuri pada tahun 1982 ini kemudian ditemukan di Singapura dan berhasil dibawa kembali ke Indonesia (saat ini arca tersebut disimpan di BPCB DIY) Candi ini berada di Desa Candirejo, Kecamatan Semin, Kabupaten Gunung Kidul. Awalnya agustus tahun lalu aku pernah berniat mengunjungi Candi Risan setelah penjelajahanku dari Candi Sirih, karena jarak antar kedua candi yang lumayan dekat (kurang lebih 5,6 km) tapi niatan itu gagal karena sedang ada pengecoran yang masih berlangsung sampai saat ini. Candi Risan ini sendiri merupakan kompleks Candi yang cukup luas jika dibandingan dengan Candi Sirih.
