Customer came to me with a problem I have never seen before, not in 5+ years as a parts guy nor in 16+ years as a technician. He had rented the PS pulley kit from us and had put the installer bearing inside the puller collets and pressed the sleeve over the assembly. He wanted me to get them apart. I said "fine but HOW did you put them together?" He kept trying to tell me the instructions told him to even though I didn't ask why but how. He left without telling me. Wednesday morning, I discovered the water pipe to my house was leaking somewhere near the foundation. Today I finally spent much of my Friday off digging a hole to find and fix it. So far the hole is 3' deep, 3' long, and 1' wide and I've found 2 leaks so far. Need to make the hole longer and wider.
