Who Needs A Custom Home Builder? Many People Do!
We’ve put together another map - this map focuses on custom home builders in Southern Ontario who are opened now, have some reviews and custom-build some pretty nice looking houses.
Although the economy has been rocked by the COVID-19 problem, and construction companies had to close shop for a while - everyone’s back in business so those looking for a new home build, will find some use in this map.
Of course there are still some social-distancing directives in place by the Ontario Government, open houses are now being scheduled. If there are any open houses that home-buyers wish to attend they’ll have to make sure to wear a mask and use hand-cleanser.

There’s Raccoons Everywhere in Brantford, and That’s a Good Thing
If you own a home you might be wondering when you expect a raccoon to take up resident in your walls or attic. You know it’s bound to happen.
What you are probably not wondering is whether those raccoons will have babies and multiply in your attic. No one really thinks about that.
During mating season, raccoons find refuge in warm areas where they can safely have their babies. When they find the perfect place, it’s usually a homeowner’s attic because it’s basically safe, warm, quiet and secluded.
With that said, we’ve published a paper based on some research we did on raccoon populations and different aspects of the raccoon mating season.
Here’s an interesting excerpt:
Raccoon populations are very good in urban areas, mainly due to hunting and fishing restrictions, a general lack of predators and an abundance of available human food. Breeding and social structure: The animal is nocturnal and eats and feeds mostly at night. A mother usually separates from other raccoons in order to raise her young on her own. Risks: A raccoon has few predators, although it is known that the animal is attacked by cougars, bobcats and coyotes.

Another Map - Where to Find Ball Bearings?
Brantford does not appear to have a bearings company - that’s OK. As a city that’s growing as exponentially as Brantford is, we can definitely expect a ball bearing supplier to pop up eventually. Probably sooner than later.

So why are there not hundreds or thousands of bearing companies and suppliers across the country? We cannot rightfully answer that question but it seems the supply and demand aspect is being properly taken care of and totally under control.

How Are Your Feet Feeling?
My feet are fine right now, and as far as I know, I don’t have diabetes, but what about you? Do you need custom orthotics, and/or compression wear to correct pain and problems with your feet?
You’re not alone and the best part about it is that there are actually companies in Brantford that provide custom orthotics. Like I said before - Brantford is a big city - so you would expect there are a few companies that provide clothing and physiotherapy for people with feet and lower-leg issues.

Why would you need orthotic footwear anyways?
That’s a good question and a lot of people ask it. The reason one may need compression wear or foot orthotics is because they may be experiencing lower-leg and foot pain. This pain, and the issues associated with it include, bunions, aches and pain in the feet and lower-leg areas, walking imbalances, plantar fasciitis, Metatarsalgia, Sciatica, shin-splints, and feet issues because of diabetes.
If you have any of the issues above, don’t fret because this is not a dark moment. All these issues can be helped with orthotic insoles, corrective orthotics, flat feet orthotics, orthotic braces, arch support and orthopedic shoes, and prosthetic shoes for runners.
Like most big cities in Canada, Brantford has a large segment of the population that’s over 65 years old. People 65 and over and more prone to having issues with their feet and legs, especially if they are having a problem with eating properly, or finding the time to get out and exercise more.
Do only older people need orthotics?
According to Stats-Can, people over 65 have the highest occurrence rates of diabetes, but there are also large numbers of occurrence in people aged 17 to 34 combined.

Artificial Intelligence Showed Us How To Advertise a Business
This was amazing. We came across a website that will generate content based on a query. We decided a great way to test this out was to use the query “Ways To Advertise A Business”.

Results
The results of the test were amazing. What it actually did was take the query and search the web for documents that address business advertising strategies. From there it re-wrote what it considered to be pertinent parts of the document and place them into a document with other blocks of text of the same subject.
We didn’t ask the software to re-write a block or paragraph of text but I’m sure if we had the results would be quite impressive.
Caveat: when it comes to writing content for the web, you want to make sure your content is unique and offers value that other documents/articles do not. That type of content creates a higher ROI for your efforts.
In the case of AI, at this time we can say that the content that is generated is not unique in the sense that it provides extra and unique value so it’s not advised to use it to publish content to advertise your website.

Who Needs a Brantford Painter?
Well have I got painting news for you. Brantford has quite a few painters and I presume that should be expected from a city like Brantford that’s growing quickly.
So without further ado, I’m going to introduce our new map! This map lists all the brantford painters and painting companies that provide interior and exterior home painting and provide free estimates. These days you really won’t find a home owner that’s willing to pay for an estimate so this list comes in handy.
Take note that most of the companies offer the same services, but the Google Maps results shows some companies that don’t appear to still be in business. This list shows those that are in business. Some of the top sites are Well Done Painting Inc. and BCJ Painting Inc.

Make Your Garage Look Nice With Epoxy Flooring
Can you believe that there’s only 2 flooring companies in Brantford Ontario that provide garage epoxy flooring services? When we put together this map, we were thinking “hey! Brantford is really growing” so there must be at the minimum of 5 companies. Only two.
So as is our usual custom, we put together a map of garage epoxy flooring company listings in the hopes that we can help home owners find an accredited company that will do their floors in epoxy for them. Brantford’s Hotel Slayings
These two chaps are wanted for murder, and the police in Brantford are on the hunt for them.
For some completely idiotic reason, they killed a man at the Galaxy Motel. This murder happened on the weekend of February 7 and 8, 2020.
The man was shot, and 2 other people were injured as well. Two people were arrested in the incident with the 2 other people in the picture above still on the loose.
The men may have fled to the #Hamilton area and are hiding out. They are considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Brantford Dentists Open Late
You know I love making maps, and this map is one of my favourite because it helps people with emergency oral issues find a dentist that’s open late. There are very few of them.
In my mind, a dental clinic should not only be open Monday to Friday at regular business hours, but they should also be open late AND open their doors for emergency issues because the hospital rarely helps - especially with impacted teeth.

Shortwave Radio Station List?
We have you covered. If you’re looking for a shortwave radio station link, check this out. It is delightful.
Aside from the pop up that pops up, this is has a nice extensive list of short wave bands from literally across the world.
I haven’t looked or searched for other lists - I’m thinking this cannot be the only list out there and there must be hundreds of more channels but it’s a good start.
If you want, you can buy this inexpensive shortwave radio here - it’s a good deal and it will get you started. PLUS it has memory so you can add to memory all those interesting stations you find.
