Dear humans of tumblr!
The ones that remain, that is.
What a great year 2017 was, yeah? Even this blog got a couple strikes, and I thought the all-consuming banning was to create an exclusively catified tumblr.
Anyway! Shinji and I now have a patreon. So if you’d like daily cat vids interseeded with social analysis (fandom! social issues! many others!) from a qualitative-discursive-social sciences perspective, that’s your place to go!
We’d be very grateful for your support, pandemic year(s) have not been kind to us, and Shinji now requires asthma medication which is somehow more expensive than previous cardiac and thryroid medication.
The youtube channel is for patreon content only, but I think I’ll make the weekly videos, or pieces of them thereof, free to all.
Thanks for reading!

Ending the year in a high note: with Shinji playing happily. Remember to shelter your cuties if they are afraid of fireworks or loud noises. Wish you all the best new year! Hope everything good of 2017 amplifies and continues for you on 2018.
Remember to shelter your pretties if they are afraid of upset by fireworks or loud noises!
Wish you all the best in this new year, hope everything good from 2017 amplifies and continues for you on 2018!
Shinji, advancing their species to new lenghts.
This long cat stayed like that a long time, but my photo was taken when they were reverting to their less innovative 4-legged stance.
This video was a mistake.
Shinji was biting and throwing a piece of paper, and I found it fun, obviously. So I decided to capture it. They had done it several times, so I was sure I’d take it.
And I did. Just that, as it can be seen, it was the one time it didn’t come out. This freacking cat ATE the fucking piece of paper.
I have yet to see it in the poop.
Minina, my granma’s cat, this year they are 12, according to our math.
My granma didn’t ever really want a non human companion, yet other insensitive family members have dumped on her several ones, all of them she has adopted into her home.
She has taken full care of Minina, responsibly. She moved to another city last year, and Minina has already adapted to the new house, because of course the cats where going with them and never thought of any other course of action.
She really didn’t like them, but can’t help loving them <3
