I support this greatly. !!!
I recently received an email from an anonymous fan sharing how she pulled a Hawkeye Initiative themed prank on her CEO to illustrate a problem with some artwork. My personal compliments to her and her accomplice on a mission well done; they perfectly took they perfectly took the concept of The...

10 Second Masterpiece Concept
CONCEPT:
The player is given 10 seconds to color in an object, with a reference picture given.
Tumblr media
The lineart is pre-made in the game, all the player has to do is color it. When 10 seconds is up, the game will calculate how accurate the color pixels are to the original drawing and give it a score out of 10. An applause will be played if the player is accurate enough to be recognizable and a excellent job! text will be played on the screen. Players then advance to a higher level with more detail (colors) on another picture to finish in 10 seconds on the next level.
10 Second Masterpiece is then played until players get overwhelmed by the complexity of the proceeding levels. The 10 second time limit will also grow longer second by second per level to incorporate harder levels, and different difficulty levels will have a different time limit cap as well. There are ‘Ultimate Masterpieces’ for the players to draw to ‘beat the game’ (but there is no technical end to the game, since new content can be added by users at any time), but before reaching that part players will encounter challenging pictures and will have to stop at a certain level, practice and get better at it before advancing.
This game will target people who aspired to be artists when they were young but never got the chance to. It's very easy to color in the pictures so only easy color recognition is needed to play this game. :D

Remember kids, you should always be the hero character in the video game that is your life!
And probably not the shopkeeper NPC, like me.

Tower of Saviors is a fast paced, action packed digital card game for iPad, iPhone and Android devices. I visited madhead studios right here in Hong Kong last week and was lucky enough to see the team that created this awesome game. :D
The lore in the game is that there's this tower called the Enochian Tower that's sealed up from thousands of years ago; the seal on it needs to be unlocked ASAP to get help from the gods above because there's a three-way war between the fallen gods, demons and humans of the realm. And in order to break the seals that lock up the tower, you, a summoner, has to go around the realm fighting battles, collecting and evolving monster cards to build a stronger team in order to fight the monsters in the tower guarding the seals.
After accumulating diamonds and friend points while passing dungeon levels, there are seal card draws that can give you rare monster cards in which you can buy. What kept me going in the game most of the time is the hope of getting rare cards that way - though it is a random draw D: . I also enjoy evolving and collecting cute monsters; feels a little bit like pokemon to me but it's an entirely different process XD.
Thing about this game is that the game play is simple, a tad bit repetitive (but in a good way if you enjoy grinds :P I do!) but is kept fresh because each stage introduces new monsters and challenges in front of you. The diamond matching attack stuff is tricky at first, but as you go on playing it it's easier to dish out combos on the long run once you begin to master it. :D Give this game a shot! It's free in the iTunes and Google Play stores so why not~~ :)
Have fun~ Collect all the monster cards~~~

Sound Shapes is an interactive music-centric side-scrolling game designed by Jonathan Mak and Shaw-Han Liem.
Players activate several musical notes as they go through different levels, and while they do so, different melodies are activate as they pass through a level, creating a harmonious melody/song that is ever changing throughout whole stages.
Tumblr media
It's a really beautifully designed game and it has so many different levels and songs in it, and is very enjoyable to play. :) This game doesn't punish you - there are no limited lives or the like; you simply respawn at a checkpoint if your character dies. This lets you play at your own pace and gives the player a sense of relaxation while you get to enjoy the finely composed in game music.
Tumblr media
There are also certain obstacles you face in game such as disappearing notes in the form of lyrics or some words that only appear when a chorus/part of the in-game song is played. When that happens you have to cling onto the object when the chorus plays to reach your next 'safe' place before the tune ends or your dot character will die and you will be brought back to a spawn point.
Tumblr media
I personally would really recommend this game for casual players and gamers who want to take a break from all the hardcore shooters/rpgs and enjoy a simple melodic game like Sound Shapes for a couple of hours. It even feels like there is a sort of a therapeutic value in investing on this game because it really relaxes you and is definitely a good de-stresser for many people. :D
Try the demo on PS3! (I think there might be one for the PS vita too)~

Chinese zombies?! Hell yeah! It's awesome that sleeping dogs, though not an online game but an RPG, is still releasing DLCs - it would probably prompt some people who didn't have the game before to buy the game NOW since the type is over - there is also a sale on Steam this weekend for buying this game at 50% off so don't miss it!

GAME DESIGN CONCEPT: LAST STAND
Welp, hey guys.
This is my take on a circular 2D tower defense strategy game:
Tumblr media
(of course this can be made into 3D as well, but that would have to cost a lot more budget to make / some concepts will have to be tweaked to suit the purpose of it. I am going to be discussing this concept as a 2D social media based flash game)
The gameplay mechanics involved in this project is very basic - protect a point, build things to shoot enemies etc.  If anyone has played Tower Madness, they would know that the basic gameplay of tower defense games itself is very addicting. I see potential in the market if this game was marketed to social media networks, because from personal experience with playing Tower Madness it's always fun to compete with your friends to see who passed what level and who has a higher score etc.  So I think if we could repackage this game for social media, make it look nice with more customization options and add more multiplayer and online options to it it'll be a simple but nice game that can cover it's own costs once it's released.  Here are some ideas on 'skins' in which players can 'dress up' their game levels in, so that they can be facing new enemies after every level:
What's more satisfying than zapping ants with a bubblegum gun when they crawl all over your food?! >:(
Tumblr media
I'm sure you've all had nightmares after watching Jaws .. Now we have alien sharks comin' in to eat ya. You have a slim chance of survival but we've supplied you with coconut launchers to kill those suckers. :)
Tumblr media
More to come about this game later! :) I will be continually updating on its progress over the next few weeks.

I'm excited to hear this! Before this I had no idea what a SKU is, so I looked it up. Apparently it stands for Stock Keeping Unit... So it should have something to do with data storage? :D According to the post above the DAIII map would probably be as big as all the DA2 maps put together - so that means a realllly huge map for us to explore and way more memory load (for a new type of console perhaps!) for the new game and many new customization options. Can't wait for this to come out - many old DA players did not like DA2 so I didn't think Bioware would have had the budget to make the 3rd game in the whole series. I was new to the DA franchise when DA2 came out so the DA2 was well recieved for me - I didn't mind the 'linearity' and the limited explore options of the maps, in fact I liked it because that gave me an idea on where to go in the game and the fact that they only gave us 3 options to pick on making a choice makes the game a lot less frustrating in my opinion (though the DA:O players I've heard from always say they're disappointed with what they did with DA2... But I liked both games, both games had great gameplay but in entirely different ways.

Some Dragon Age III details are slowly leaking out. Will update with more info as we can. Here’s what we know so far.
Dragon Age III has had longer pre-production that just about any other BioWare project.
One level in Dragon Age III is as big as all of Dragon Age II’s levels
Customization is going to be bigger than Dragon age Origins. Follower customization will be deep.
You will play a Human character.
You may be able to have and control your own Castle.
Flemeth will make an appearance in DAIII
Investigating ways of bringing across your ‘game choices without having to have game saves. *That could be a hint to a next-gen SKU*
Game is going to be visually stunning with FROSTBITE 2 working as a base along with custom engine work.
