Interesting, I have the same opinion, I hate kids and if I’m nice to my little cousins it doesn’t mean that I changed. It’s still the same, additionally I’m lesbian (yeah I know it’s still possible to get pregnant) but I wouldn’t want to harm me or my girlfriend with carrying baby… for me it’s actually disgusting :/ as for Babe, for me they should adopt dog (as in novel) or cat, maine coon(?) especially! But I don’t mind, I mean it depends on Pavel and producers actually but seeing many people wanting Babe pregnant, that can get him pregnant..

I fully understand — I idea of carrying a child or my partner carrying a child is so… 😬 But honestly, my biggest thing with kids is that I don’t want to raise a human haha once they’re a thinking individual, hard pass. So no kids for me.

I’d love them to get a puppy like in the book.

Honestly, i doubt they’ll do full on BabePreg — if it happens (with him of any character tbh) it will be in the last episode. We’ll get a fade to black-several years later kinda thing with a kid running around. At least that’s what I think they’d do.

I’d just prefer they didn’t. Not every couple needs kids 😅 and to me (posted fanfic aside) I like Babe and Charlie as child free

But basically it was someone asking why I’m against BabePreg and that they thought it ”fit” him…

So… I’m assuming this is coming primarily from the bonus chapter when they’re babysitting. And, I wonder if the people who use this as “evidence” don’t fully understand how fantasies/kinks works. I’m not trying to put anyone down, but it seems like people have this belief that kinks/fantasies are things people want in “reality.” And, no. That’s the first thing to understand. Plenty of people have fantasies where they are physically hurt or attacked or assaulted — they don’t actually want that to happen to them! It’s a fantasy — it’s fake and taking place in their heads. It’s a safe thing to fantasize about because it’s not actually happening.

Throughout that chapter where Babe and Charlie play out their kink - Babe reminds himself they’re just alphas and CAN’T get pregnant. It also ends with Babe explicitly saying;

“I hate kids”

Adding, pregnancy/breeding kinks =/= wanting to have or raise a child

And the above isn’t even taking into account that part of why Babe is screwing alphas - or being screwed by alphas - is because there’s no chance or pregnancy.

Or the fact that when Charlie owns up to his power he explicitly says to Babe, “I can’t get you pregnant, and even if I could, I wouldn’t because I know you never want children”

All that is directly from the translation on Wattpad.

Is the show different? Kinda — but the reason Charlie poses that question after they become boyfriends is for the audience to understand it’s “possible” under the right circumstances (enigma) because otherwise viewers wouldn’t follow it as easily — it’s narrative. It’s meant to make viewers unfamiliar with the book question Charlie’s character.

Besides the evidence in text as to why I’m not for BabePreg, there also personal reasons.

Babe is child free by choice, as am I. I like that there’s a character who just doesn’t want kids.

Additionally, as someone who’s been told things — at the store, at work, when I was a student — such as

“You’ll look so good pregnant!”

“All you need is a baby on the hip and one on the way”

“Oh you’re made to be a mother”

The idea that a character “can’t” know what they want and don’t want, is very frustrating to me in this context. And I fully acknowledge that it’s a me problem here.

But within canon, there’s no evidence of Babe wanting kids — nothing beyond a kinky fantasy (which again doesn’t equate to “real” life wishes).

If the show, with all of this in canon evidence against it, makes BabePreg happen, it will have diverted into fanfic territory.

And I’m not big on shows/films disregarding the story the authors want to tell in favor of filling media with fan’s fantasies.

But, as I said in the original post — literally ANY other character could end up pregnant and I wouldn’t give a shit. 😂

Plus, even if season 2 ends up being a hard pass for me - Goddess Bless You From Death looks fucking fantastic, and I can deal with having just the one show to look forward to. It’s really no biggie on my end.

TL;dr — sorry your ask disappeared. There’s no canon material that demonstrates Babe actually wanting children, in fact there’s actually the opposite - evidence to support his dislike/disinterest in children. I relate to Babe and, as a result, get frustrated at the idea of the show going “against his wishes.” But in the end, I really don’t care 😂 I’ll live with or without PB season 2.

But it’s so far outside of Babe’s character I just won’t be able to watch it honestly. It will have crossed into fan wishes — and while I can get behind that in fandom, I personally loathe when creators put it into canon. Especially, when there’s no evidence or support for it.

I have so much to write this weekend it kinda ridiculous… like my own fault but still.

And I really want to play Fallout haha been itching since the show. Restarted NV and intend on beating it before season 2 — plus the updates on 4 — and my sister wanted to jump on to 76 at some point.

From a creative standpoint, as someone who’s Charlie series has 94k words right now and soon to be 100k tomorrow afternoon, the fact there’s going to be a Pit Babe season 2 is fantastic.

I write things I’d like to read — it’s mostly a self indulgent hobby that I share and use as means to practice my craft as I’ve got some lofty dreams.

But knowing that the series will continue, makes the writing process easier in many respects, because we know that the fandom won’t disappear yet. There’s still an appetite for fics.

For me this is especially true for my upcoming sequel to What you Don’t Know as I’ve been worried interest is waning and no one will read it.

Anyway, all the announcements excited me ❤️

I feel like I should expand on what I said about the KhaoFirst drama.

I’m sure it will be fine, if not good or even great. My disappointment is that it 1) doesn’t sound interesting to me — the trailer comes off as a rehash of a lot of other shows I’ve seen and more importantly 2) the characters seem like a slightly tweaked Ray and Sand with a gun added the mix. And, I don’t know, that’s just not interesting.

I watched enough Only Friends to understand their characters — yes that means I didn’t watch the show — and it was aggressively fine. But ensemble shows are hit or miss with me and i didn’t care about any other characters. Which is what I assume will happen with this new show as well.

I’m not big on my romances have so many other couple, lol I’m a super simple basic ass person who has a favorite character and stays loyal.

So, I’m not optimistic that I’ll enjoy it — which is fine btw I don’t have to enjoy every show out there 😂 — though I’ll check it out. But it sucks because First has so much potential and never seems to get any chances to really dig into a character. Akk was great - but Sand was more or less secondary and relegated to the outskirts. Despite that character being so damn interesting. Even now, no one seems to care about Sand in the fic space and it’s kinda tragic. He’s far more interesting than Ray in my opinion — certainly more colorful and dynamic. And based on that trailer, First is once again getting the short end of the stick and it sucks…

Though I could be wrong. Maybe the show will have some complexity that wasn’t in the trailer — maybe they’ll actually utilize First’s ability. I don’t know, I hate being so disheartened with a teaser lol it’s ridiculous - but it is what it is I suppose.

Hello, I love Boun and Prem but I don’t keep up with their news. And Wabi Sabi’s holiday contents does not have Prem (the ones that I’ve seen anyway) and I’ve always wondered why but never asked anyone 😅 May I know why Boun needs a new management?

Wabi Sabi is getting rid of their management department. So every artist who was being managed by Wabi has to find a new company to take over. Most of the artists seem to have gone to GMMTV.

Prem has been a freelance actor for about a year now I think, and was never a Wabi artist. Which is why he’s not always been included in their promotions.

However, now both Boun and Prem are signed to GMMTV so we should see more of them I think.
