Friends (A forgotten post)

Can’t remember why I started this draft I’ve long forgotten. Just letting it be now. :p

How do you define "friends"?

Are friends those whom you have known forever (or a very long time)?

Are friends those who you keep in touch with regularly?

Are friends those who you share ups and downs with?

Are friends those who you just do things with?

Are friends those who you follow their Facebook/Twitter updates quietly but don't really talk to them anymore?

Do you still consider someone a friend you once knew, did things with him/her, then stopped doing things together and now no longer contacts each other?

昨晚看「命中」最後一集，對男主角紀存希的真情感動到哭不停。今天眼睛有點腫。第一次有喜極而泣的感覺，而非因為感受到他們的痛心而哭。在想生活中會不會碰到讓我會感動到哭的事情。如果能夠遇到像紀存希這樣的男人，看得是三生修來的福吧⋯⋯哈哈

Stop asking How?!!

How to do this, how to do that.... Look, we weren't trained to do these things either, and we're not living encyclopaedia of everything that ever took place in the office. While we'd love to give dear colleagues a helping hand once in a while, some things you need to figure it out yourself -- that's what you were hired for right, to do the job? You were not hired to use your mouth to go around asking people for answers to your problems. If you always need to follow a template in order to do the job, I'd rather program a robot to do it. Robots make less noise than you.

Something I came to learn in life...

All relationships takes time and a genuine heart to develop. But given the same amount of effort and time put in, the value you get out of each type of relationship lasts over different time spans. In order of long lasting-ness: 1) Family ties 2) Companionship or Friendship ...x) Love doesn't even compare. Took me 7 years to really realize this as I've given up too many friendships for love because I was immature. I won't make that mistake again.

It’s only been a full month, but the passing felt a lot longer than that. Every passing day, I could feel a part of my dream shattering. Although I dreaded waking up from each of them, there’s nothing I could do to stop or to fix.
