Elriel Month: Endless Possibilities

"Azriel still cradling Elain to his chest. He dripped blood behind him the entire time-a trickle compared to the torrent that should be leaking out. Contained only by the patches of power he'd slapped on it. Help-he needed a healer immediately. .. Nesta let out a sob at the sight of Elain, still in Ariel's arms. ..Rhys lunged for Azriel, taking Elain from him and gently setting my sister down. Azriel rasped, swaying on his feet, "We need Helion to get these chains off her." Yet Elain didn't seem to notice them as she rose up on her toes and kissed the shadowsinger's cheek."

There is so much to love about this scene: Azriel cradling Elain to himself, Elain making no move to leave his arms, Ariel's only concern being Elain despite his own wounds, the two of them having to be physically separated by Rhys, and then Elain giving Azriel the one and only kiss he has received in the series. This whole scene had such romantic undertones and further cemented the relationship that has been developing between Elain and Azriel.

Yay! Finally, I get to post on the last prompt of Elriel Month for 🌟 Endless Possibilities.🌟

This is honestly my favorite/proudest piece I've ever done. 😭❤️ @violetasteracademic fanfiction Golden Doe in a Valley of Shadow was the inspiration for the stain glass piece. It's been such a joy collaborating with her and hearing/reading about her precious fanfiction, specifically this scene in the story. Please go and check her fanfiction out. 🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️ It's so well written, and the characters are such little gems! Thank you @faeprincesswarrior for your wonderful suggestions and input when I needed another set of eyes. ❤️ So very blessed to know some great people in the fandom. 🥰❤️

Absolutely adore the idea of a wedding for Azriel and Elain. We've seen in the canon books the theme of marriage for both of them. I might even repost it. Lol

Since I enjoy this theme of stain glass and Elriel, I'm working on other Elriel moments 🥰❤️ I included a blank page as well for a coloring page. I'm hoping I'll be able to make a collection of stain glass Elriel moments. 🥰❤️🥰

Elriel Month Day 28: Death’s Fanged Beast

I made this piece following the headcanon that Elain already has or will develop some Earth magic. In this scenery, Elain and Az are in some ancient ruins and have been ambushed. I drew Elain levitating and throwing rocks at an unseen enemy while giant vines crawl out of the earth, ready to strike. Azriel is perched atop a boulder, shadows at the ready, feeling a sense of pride; he is prepared to defend Elain if needed. Together, they make the ultimate power couple. Warrior and Mage, Shadowsinger and Seer, Death and his lovely fawn. Death’s fanged beast.

I drew Elain in a black dress because I am personally tired of people saying she doesn’t belong in the night court because of the dress she wore at the Court of Nightmares. That other dress was purposely made ugly so that Nesta drew Eris’s attention. I want Elain to wear a black dress that is suitable and perfect for her.

Ps: It’d be cool if Elain was gifted raw magic like Dorian, and she could manifest it into whatever power she needs.
