Having caught up with 60 or so anime episodes I can fully confirm - OPLA is so GOOD

Like it's even better than original with fights (last 10 minutes, instead of 10 episodes) and side characters, esp villains. They keep the silly but give them an overall threatening feel, it's incredible. Sanji is a gigantic improvement (idk how many heart eyes I can take at this rate) and Usopp does more in general?

Luffies are kinda very different but I like them both a lot, I'm on the fence with Nami (too serious? in live action, directionless at times in source material) and unfortunately they've made Zoro so painfully bland for some reason. Guy cracks jokes, is either lost or asleep, he should be maximum silly while not in a fight
