I would love to see the below scene mirrored in season 3 where Crowley and Aziraphale stand in Aziraphale’s room facing each other. Crowley snaps his fingers and the door starts to close. Just as they are both almost out of sight and the door is almost shut we see Crowley grab Aziraphale and bends him down into a swoon embrace. They kiss passionately just as the door shuts.

Listening to this for something like the eleventh time today and once again can’t get out of my head how incredibly Azircrow coded it is. How Crowley is probably sitting in a bar by himself drinking and Aziraphale is alone in heaven, both lonely, both regretting everything they said and didn’t say to each other and how maybe if they actually listened to each other then things would be different. The song has such an uplifting tune but when you listen to the lyrics for more than two second it rips your heart out, and suddenly I’m back there thinking about that God damn kiss again and how filming starts in January but we won’t see anything until 2026 and I don’t know how I can cope until then, how will I cope damn it tell me?!

…anyway, it’s a good song.

Came across this get to know you post from @midnights-dragon and thought I would give it a whirl. Questions are in the reblogged post above, my answers below. Let’s get to know each other!

1. I must have been in high school after I read a myriad of Discworld novels and then discovered Pratchett co-wrote Good Omens with Neil. I had also just read Neverwhere (which became one of my favourite ever books). After reading Good Omens it rocketed up my favourites list. I of course followed the making of the TV series with great interest immediately.

2. I wish! God dam. I wish there was more out there! I went to Supanova on the weekend and there was hardly anything. This needs to be rectified!

3. I have written quite a bit which has not yet seen the light of day. Mostly for myself. The only public stuff are my Wildest Dreams wishes for season 3 that I post here on Tumblr. Follow me to read the hilarity. And also I did perform my potential season 3 ending I wrote on my podcast. See my profile for the link.

4. This one is difficult I can’t decide between Pray for Icarus or What We Make of It (Shotgun Wedding). Both are magnificently beautiful.

5. Even more difficult! I’ve read too many one shots to really distinguish them. I think the one I like the best was a human AU set at Christmas in the Victorian era and now I’m annoyed I can’t remember who it was by or the name of the fic. I might find it later and update the post.

6. Muriel from the TV show. Shadwell from the book.

7. I don’t think any quotes are under appreciated. But also I don’t have that kind of encyclopaedic memory to remember quotes in general.

8. Season 1. So much more stuff happens. And also it doesn’t end in heartbreak. But I don’t like it more by much!

9. Have I seen other work by DT or MS?! What a question! I’ve been a fan of DT since Casanova. That’s right. I loved him BEFORE Doctor Who. I’ve watched quite a lot of his work. MS I’m ashamed to admit really only came to my attention from Good Omens and I loved him so much I sought more of his stuff, then was horrified to discover he was in some of my favourite films and I didn’t even realise it was him! Loved him in Midnight in Paris.

10. It’s obvious isn’t it? Our Flag Means Death! You have Crowley and Aziraphale just doing their thing in pirate times. Then they meet Ed and Stede. It makes perfect sense. I do have an entire fic drafted for this. One day when I finish it properly I’ll post it.

11. My favourite ones I think are room mates or colleagues (specifically teachers).

12. I think good. Most people I’ve interacted with have liked the stuff I post. If I don’t like something someone has said I don’t engage, I just move on.

13. Obviously S1 when Aziraphale steps into the bookshop’s summoning circle and gets discorporated.

14. Currently Houdini by Dua Lipa. I’ve posted this as a wildest dream though not in great detail. I imagine Crowley in a nightclub (probably with Nina, Maggie and Muriel who’ve dragged him out for a night of fun) dancing to this song, whilst launching sexually charged miracles at people so that they start heavily making out with people who aren’t their partners. Then he steals a bottle of whiskey from the bar and leaves everyone acting sinfully inside. However once outside he just feels upset and dejected. Look, it works in my head!

15. I haven’t specifically made any but I know what songs would go on it. Refer back to my post about my Hottest 100 votes.

16. I know plenty of people. None unfortunately willing enough to talk about it obsessively with me though.

17. When Crowley is following after Aziraphale to all the shop keepers to set up the meeting.

18. The meeting at the Bastille. Need I say why? 😏

19. No. I might have to go find it.

20. Not that I’ve seen. But my wildest dream post about my theory of Crowley and Aziraphale holding hands in season 3 has more than a thousand notes so that’s pretty cool.

21. Season 1. It’s more varied and I love his long hair look (Golgotha anyone?)

22. Just answered this. Golgotha.

23. That something ALMOST happened in 1941 after the bullet catch. Perhaps an almost kiss. Which is why Aziraphale says Crowley goes too fast for him in the 60’s.

24. South Downs Cottage. Of course!

25. Good Omens (season 1 specifically) is not only my favourite ever adaptation of a book but it’s one of the two adaptations (the other being Howl’s Moving Castle) that I believe is BETTER than the book. And that’s saying a lot as like I said earlier, the book is one of my favourite other books.

Number 24.

For season 3 would it be too much to ask for another ball, but this time it’s a MASKED ball! How awesome would a masked ball be?! Aziraphale and Crowley in ridiculous over the top masks. And it’ll be like in Much Ado About Nothing where they dance together, and talk to each other ABOUT each other, and PRETEND they don’t know that they’re talking to each other about each other. Then they reveal themselves and yell at each other “Well of COURSE I knew it was you all along”!
