is it the weird comment about 9/11? i got an advanced copy of the book and never ended up finishing it but i kept telling people about it like can you imagine you open a bio and it starts off saying the subjects death eclipsed a tragedy. very odd

see, that is such a weird way to open a biography about george harrison. i get that he’s making a point that george’s death was big news but geez.

there’s another too that i found odd.

“Alone in that company, he had a serious turn of mind; the Beatles, then commercial pop as a whole, radically changed direction after his discovery of the sitar and embracing of Indian religion and philosophy. Better, rather, to call him the Beatles’ Great Minority.”

i could be stupid but i just find that an odd thing to say. i could be misunderstanding it because it’s late where i’m at and i worked almost ten hours today lol.
