The last day of the @artisticisle.watercolor #artisticcheer art challenge is Winter Wonderland. The first thing that popped into my head was the classic movie Doctor Zhivago. Growing up in Central America there is no winter. The first memory I have of snow was watching this movie with my Mom and looking at the album cover of the soundtrack. Mom bought soundtracks of all her favorite films. So here is my version of Laura from the magical winter scenes in Doctor Zhivago. I used my @artisticisle.watercolor paints. The perfect time to pull out the Galaxy Love Mini Palette with Iris and Oceanic Swirl. Using my new adorable little @artisticisle.watercolor Fall Primaries Set 2, which includes: Indian yellow Quinacridone (a new favorite!!) Azure Tahiti Scarlet Hematite Marine Blue Made a quick sketch in my @fieldartista 5x5 Watercolor sketchbook I bought 2 @silverbrushltd a while ago and I haven’t really had a chance to try them out. I was pleasantly surprised. They have more bounce than I thought they would. I’m using the Silver Black Velvet rounds in #6 and #10 The #6 comes to a finer point than it looks like it would.
