Hi what makes better synastry for marriage or long term relationship for partners that both get bored in relationships easily? Are any of them 7,1,8,10,9,4,11, or 12th house synastry? I guess I’m asking what houses make it so that the relationship is long lasting and comfortable but also exciting and interesting?

Synastry For Long Term Relationships in Astrology

1. Strong Saturn Aspects

Typically in harmonious aspect but I’ve seen Saturn in hard aspect in longer-term couples. This is because Saturn is glue. He equals longevity. Seeing Saturn conjunction Venus, or on the 7th house cusp can indicate long term commitment. 4th house means committed home and structured family.

2. Venus in Harmonious Aspect to Saturn

People often associate love with responsibility. They are usually quite committed to their partners and they take their relationships seriously. I often see this aspect in couples that have been together for a very long time, [even if they are not legally married]. If this aspect is in the 5th house, it could mean a committed relationship where people may not even have a ‘title’. 5th house with these two is often the long term “f-buddy” aspect.

3. 12th House Overlays

Remember, the 12th house is also a very “spiritual house”, so there can feel as if there is a soulmate thing going on. When relationship significators are connected with the twelfth house, there may be a tendency to either keep relationships rather sheltered and private. The advantage of this is keeping others out. Usually, when relationships go south, it’s because too many parties are/were involved be it by opinion/busybodies or affairs. 8. 8th house Overlays

8th house is about shared resources, karma, death, sex, rebirth, etc. When Venus, Vertex, North Node, Saturn, Moon, or 7th house/12th house ruler land in a partner's chart here, there can be heavy and long term attachments between people. Remember, even though Saturn is considered “glue”, Pluto can also have a very long term “binding’ effect on two people. this house is quite literally the house of “til-death-do-us-part”.

9. Venus conjunct Uranus or Venus in the 11th House

This aspect is very good for people who live unconventional love lives. This placement/overlay can indicate two people who never get tired of each other. Romance could have birthed from friendship or out of the blue. There is always something exciting here. I see this aspect between swingers or those who have open marriages. 💘 People with pisces ASC/moon/venus, Venus in the 12th and Neptune in the 7th or conjunct the ASC-DSC axis: it’s so SO easy to make them feel guilty. The type of people to easily feel like it’s their fault when others mistreat them and bc of this they could be more prone to attracting abusive people and narcissists

💘 Also, nobody talks about this and I understand why bc Neptune can be very tricky planet but I think it’s worth mentioning that Neptune is a very spiritual planet that represents unconditional love and therefore can mean true love or a real soul connection so the ruler of the 7th house making an aspect to Neptune, Neptune in the 7th, Juno in the 12th, 12th house synastry etc. can mean true love and a real soul connection in marriage. HOWEVER true love and a real soul connection feeling can often be confused with delusions which is why this planet gets such bad press in relatioships and remember 12th house a lot of times is karma so PLEASE be careful

💘 Venus ruling the 7th, venus in the 7th or Venus aspecting the ruler of the 7th indicates a strong desire to marry for love. Very possible that the person won’t marry unless it’s for love. This also indicates good marriage life

💘 If you don’t have this it of course doesn’t mean you won’t marry for love or won’t marry at all so don’t worry. What I’ve seen in people who don’t have this is they are quite independent when it comes to relationships, they don’t mind getting married but they don’t mind not getting married or staying single either. 💘 Check the ascendant in your Juno persona chart, it has some significance as to the energy around you meeting your spouse similar to a composite rising but more subtle energy. For ex. one of my friends has gemini rising in her Juno persona chart and she met her husband when we were in high school when she was about to be picked up by car and she was also holding books in her hands and when she saw him he was with his brother.

With this overlay the house person naturally takes care of the needs of the planet person (said needs will be determined by the planet and sign in question) and that’s why the planet person will inevitably see the house person as a good potential parent

💘 There are lots of placements and asteroids that indicate your sexual turn ons but I think that the most potent ones are Lilith, Eros, your 8th house and the ruler of the 8th house. I’ve noticed that these represent specially erogenous zones for you and parts of the body you’re specially attracted to (aside from your kinks and stuff). 💘 Chiron in the 1st in the composite chart = feeling uncomfortable with each other, like you’re incompatible or like you don’t click together at all. Can also create a “can’t be together” vibe but not in a platonic Pisces way it’s more like there’s some incompatibility that can’t be salvaged and “stops” the couple from meeting/coming together or the relationship from taking place at least at first. 💘 With that said the number 1 best house for synastry or composite in my opinion and based on what I have seen is the 9th house both friendship and relationship, also the 5th, 4th, 2nd, 11th, 3rd

💘 People who have your DSC sign as their moon sign will strike you quite strongly. Not necessarily their moon falling in your 7th or conjunct the DSC (tho this is stronger) I’ve seen that the fact that someone has your DSC sign as their moon sign is enough to create a little “crush” feeling or you feel like you can’t hate that person bc may see them as cute.

💘 The people I’ve seen that have gone through a harsh divorce mostly had in their natal chart: North Node in the 7th, Chiron in the 7th house, Saturn rx in the 7th house, Jupiter Square Uranus and planets or angles in Aquarius degrees (11°, 23°) specially if Venus or Moon are in these degrees or conjunct a planet that is in these degrees. These indicators can apply to breaking up a long-term relationship, breaking an engagement, etc. except probably Jupiter square Uranus. This one is particularly a divorce aspect specially in women’s charts. Also, side note, if Pluto or Uranus are involved, these people may have a devastating divorce or breakup 

💘 Composite planets in the composite 12th house can create a feeling like the relationship has an expiration date. One or both people are for some reason constantly anxious that the relationship might end. If they stay feeding these energy they’ll likely have a self-fulfilling prophecy

a short, incomplete note on the duality of gemini - from a gemini sun and mercury. i have always been offended by gemini getting tagged with the "two-faced" and "hypocrite" stereotypes - not just because I am a gemini sun but because I know the gemini energy, with all its subtle nuances. and the stereotypes are a very lazy attempt at slapping certain keywords to gemini without going into the depths of its nature.

limitation of my reflection: i'm both the sun and the mercury, so i don't have clarity as to how each of these planets manifest when in gemini.

what do i feel about the dual nature of gemini? i would conceptualise this duality as being able to understand something from two polar opposite pov. i often be having conversations with myself inside my head - and question my own opinions/ ideas from the other end of the spectrum. i am the thesis as well as its antithesis. i am the Ego-self as well as the Other (add: my sun is conjunct my DSC. i read a post somewhere on here about the DSC being the Other. if my sun is my Ego-self, it sitting on my DSC seems to make it my Other too, or my Ego-self and its Other are one and the same)

anyway, as for the manifestation of the gemini energy in the real world based on my personal experience: I am able to simply just get it - on a mental level - when my friends or family are having a discussion, and one party has a thesis/ argument/ point/ opinion which is the opposite of another party's. and because i see sense in both, most often than not, i end up unable to take sides.

no, it's not an imperative to take sides. but multiple factors could play into it: not having a clear opinion on the subject (i'm plagued by this quite a lot), not wanting to favour one friend over another, not wanting to disrupt peace, wanting to be neutral.. there could be n number of reasons, and it doesn't have to do with being a gemini or a gemini mercury. it could apply to anyone at all.

what's gemini in this case is this: i am able to entertain multiple opposing viewpoints at the same time. give me a topic for debate, and i could debate myself. because i understand where both viewpoints are coming from.

extras: it takes A LOT of thinking, understanding, building of thought structures, breaking them down, rebuilding them, over and over again...to finally find an "opinion" of my own on a certain topic. until then, i shall be listening to you and nodding in agreement because i really agree with whatever you are saying, then go to another person and nod in agreement when they talk about the same topic from another angle. on the inside, in my mind, i'm collecting data, i'm accepting that the truth can be perceived from multiple different vantage points - and none of them are wrong. however, i am also slowly building my own viewpoint too.. but until it solidifies, i'm keeping my mind open and staying receptive.

Both parties will be feeling these emotions on a frequent and daily basis.The moon is blended feelings an attachment, and Pluto is the attachment of not wanting to be abandoned. Deep desires. Occurring in opposition, it is one of the most emotional and intense passionate interplays that we can see in compatibility. We are seeing the extremes of attachment and of feelings really driving the relationship. You two will undoubtedly have a deep effect on each other. The ways in which the both of you deal with each other can be subtly manipulative. The potential for being hurt will keep you two acting out emotions that can subtly undermine each other. manifestation of venus and mars in romantic love in my own experience. placement of these planets in my natal: Leo, 8H. because both the planets share the same sign and house, i really cannot tell how each manifests!

anyway, i have noticed that i act like a Leo when in love (must be the mars?) - instantly telling my friends and mom (wanting to let it be known to the whole world haha), showing off my special person, claiming them in public by holding hands or fixing their hair, wanting to be the it couple of our social circle, etc. however, these traits are not what attracts me to a person. i have never been especially attracted to Leo suns or risings, unless there are other aspects at play. why i am writing this specific note/ reflection today has to do with coming across so many articles stating that having venus/mars in a specific sign makes us attracted to someone of that sign. and maybe it does! just not in my own experience. what i want in love - or rather, what i yearn to feel when in love - aligns more with my venus and mars house placement - the eighth house! i crave for something plutonic as though i am sinking into the depths of scorpionic waters. therefore, to conclude: who i am in love = the sign what i want in love = the house ps. reflection note on placements and synastry aspects for attraction another day. someone's ascendant in my already loaded 8H does make me go crazy though. go sleep now, you're tired and you're squinting

Venus in 5H

More than anyone else, when it comes to relationship I've always been a big fan of fixed house synastry/composite. Venus in 5H however has its own story.

One of the most powerful combinations for romantic and sexual attraction. Marriage would be for the sake of love, not for the sake of money or prestige. Think Romeo and Juliet.This placement brings a great deal of contentment and romantic fulfilment. While the aspects to Venus in this contrast are complicated, it does not lessen the romantic tendency displayed.

Venus is passionate, daring and everything the 5H person desires. The 5H person feels so tempted by Venus and Venus also feels the same way.

At first, depending on other placements, it could be possible that the Venus was more flirtatious towards the 5H but it is the 5H person that really starts to put in the work. 5H feels drawn to Venus, aroused by them yet initially, 5H was more detached in terms of emotions. However, after some time, 5H person may start to feel an urge to chase&conquer..

One another's best-kept secret, knows things about each other that others wouldn't. As this couple's fingers intertwined and their lips locked, everything is possible. The kind of couple that would do the most spontaneous things with each other. Play fights. Kisses along one's body. The dynamic feels hot and heavy. Sexual experiences is often very exciting and fun.

Love always come in hand with friendship. Some people often say that we date people who we're supposed to be friends with and stay friends with people who we supposed to date. Moon in 11H can be perfectly described based off that one sentence.

Electric and never platonic. When the couple has this placement in their synastry chart, I can already tell they have potentials to go with one another very far down in life. They care for each other so much yet its more than what casual friends would. They would always have gut feelings about one another. The type of people to finish one another's sentences.

The Moon person is soft and understanding, they are 11H's home and 11H wants to show them off to the world. Pretty public and may stay together for a very long time due the dynamic of a fixed house. Spaces spent without the others are greatly appreciated since the bring them even closer. 11H person is the Moon's ideal type or wishes that come true. 11H feels well taken care of and confide a lot on the Moon person.

In front of each other they don't feel the need to pretend anymore. Their masks are taken down and its the world vs them two. Forehead kisses, playful banters that turn serious. They share their dreams, aspirations and desire to the other person.

While they're inherently such different people, this couple feels like one another's last missing puzzle.

Venus in 7H

"Who am I without you?" Venus in the 7H in synastry will always have a tension between them that will eventually push them towards each other.

Another aspect that can be pretty big on marriage, the 7H of partnership guarantees the couple to be together for the long haul, esp true if there are even more indicators.

Being in a relationship with each other teach the two a lot about their love nature. Venus is very considerate about their partner's desires and adamant about pleasing them. 7H partner is also trying to satisfy Venus by making the relationship as harmonious, caring, and peaceful as possible. As a result, when the two of them are together, friction is greatly reduced.

7H person feels so drawn to Venus, they can't stop staring. Venus is exciting and everything thats beautiful to them and 7H tends to get so so wholesome next to Venus:") Venus adores their nature and would return with perhaps even more affection.

They actually share very similar love languages and they understand each other's body language pretty well. Conflicts tend to be avoided yet can sometimes become too safe and comfy.

The type of couple that suddenly come together but people will say "finally". The two people that everyone adores and support. Holding hands and walking through forests and trees. They love each other's comfort and yearn for each other's warmth.

One of the rare synastry placements I've seem these days but is very fulfilling. The house person don't just love Moon's sensitivity and emotions, they also love their helpful and profound nature.

Moon person can sometimes feel left out and ignored, will do anything to get their attentions back.

There are so much securities and emotions felt on both sides. Never ending love story. Hard to not get attach. Moon just opens up casually to the 1H person. as they don't feel judged ever.

Moon in 8H

To love someone is to love their flaws, their worst moments, their ugliest and all. Moon in 8H couples are private people yet also are very passionate towards one another.

Sex bonds them.They share and keep one another secrets so well. 8H sees Moon as their home, with so much depth to them. i'd say that sex between these two can be so life changing. 8H knows the effect they have on Moon so so well and they can't help it but lure Moon in further.

One of the dynamics I'd chuckle if I see apparent in synastry's chart. Their thirst for each other's energy and emotions are crazy.

Either overshare everything or hold back completely. The Moon feel the need to learn&study and truly understand the 8H person. No small talk here. They can either fear each others emotions or take it all in so well.

While I do love the intensity and passion present here, I'm fearful of the jealousy and possessiveness of this placement. 8H will be stubborn to open up at first yet the second they do, the Moon person is theirs and theirs only. Crazy adventures but crazier fights.

Moon in 4H

The theme of home life and security is always present. They can understand what the others want to say simply by looking at each other and smile. Truest modern romance.

The couple that felt the need to stay friends for some time before they jump into a relationship since they value the others sincerity so much. Brings each other joy, comfort and absolute trust.

Its us versus them. Indeed, may choose to isolate themselves from the rest of the world in order to be alone together in a safe space. Can be surprisingly public with affections yet very secretive about the nature of their romance. Reminds me of that old couple that hold hands in the park while being comfortably silent .

Extremely binding, the two of you will find it extremely difficult to separate. Emotions runs high here and the two must be wary not to become too dependent on one another.

A common thing I've seen in the charts of people who are firmly monogamous is moon-mercury aspects (this is not the only indicator ofc). Their decisions and interests are guided by what they feel so once they set their heart on someone... that's it for them

A very interesting lesson that I took from doing so many synastry/composite readings is that the "like attracts like" trope is WAY more powerful than the "opposites attract" trope. Here are some of the most common similarities I've spotted:

couples sharing the same ASC (this one is SO common)

Very similar aspects to the moon: I’ve noticed many couples have each of their moons aspecting the same planets, specially, outer planets, usually in similar (sometimes even the same) aspects. For example person A has Moon Square Pluto and person B has moon opposite Pluto (both harsh aspects)

A common thing I've seen in many couples synastry is Venus square Venus aspect

On the other hand I’ve noticed that flings or really passionate relationships tend to have Moon square moon in synastry

Moon sextile Moon relationships are so perfect imo. They have the easy understanding of the trine and the passion of the square/opposition

I’ve seen a lot of unrequited love situations have Venus square/opposite Moon. The moon person is attached to and idolizes the Venus person. The Venus person enjoys moon’s company but they aren’t that romantically involved or interested

Earth Moons are very fond of stability what is known to them but they secretly want someone who takes them out of their comfort zone and opens them up to deep and exciting emotional experiences. I've noticed they usually end up with partners who are more sensitive, expressive and spontaneous

I’ve noticed Venus-Pluto natives (square, opposition, conjunction) end up building some kind of resentment towards their long-term partners overtime and won’t let them go. The type to spend years married to some they secretly hate and also the type of person who demonizes every single one of their exes. It’s like they tend to attract relationships that wake up a dark side in them

Something I keep seeing over and over is that Cancer placements are playerssssss (both men and women). They will treat you like you’re “the one” but that doesn’t necessarily mean they have an actual intention to settle with you😭 they're just getting carried away by what they feel in moment so I guess they are unintentional players???

Leo and Libra placements on the other hand are intentional players imo. They love the romance and chasing just for the validation it gives them

In order to keep a Cardinal Venus/Moon interested you need to keep showing up like your relationship is brand new. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve be together or how comfortable you are with each other, they want their partner to still make an effort to impress and romance them like it’s the first date and they're bound to do the same

Women with Libra Mars I've noticed tend to attract mamas boys or child-like men with mommy issues. These women are always the dominant or mature ones in their relationships

Capricorn Mars women are dominant too and have a strong character but they chase men who are equally as independent as them if not more

Something I’ve noticed with Pisces/Neptune 7th house (and also Pisces Venus/Juno to an extent) is that yeah they put their partner on a pedestal but they also low-key tend to take their partner for granted? I’ve noticed they expect their partner to be indulgent, permissive and basically tolerate their bs. Little is talked about how their tendency to ignore red flags goes both ways; they want their partner to ignore their red flags too and forgive all their behaviors

What is up with Aquarius and Pisces placements attracting each other all the damn time?

I’ve seen a lot of people with Mars in the 7th house who were divorced or never married. One friend of mine who has this placement says she doesn’t want to marry at all or have a relationship cause she’s too independent

Women with fixed Mars are attracted to men who have rough or bold characteristics such as beard, tattoos, toned body, deep voice, etc. or just a very bold presence in general. They also have a thing for men who have a very confident, understated and nonchalant demeanor/personality to them

Women with mutable Mars and their attraction to flighty and chaotic men who don’t give them the time of day. I’ve seen this countless times 😭😭😭

I've seen harmonious aspects between Mars-Moon in people that work very well together! This aspect typically means fertility which in a work environment translates into a fruitful relationship. The two people wanting to create/initiate things together with lots of motivation

Who came up with the idea that Aries Moon/Venus are disloyal and flighty? All I keep seeing irl is these natives tend to have a strong attachment to their partners. Once they're in your corner they won't ever let you go fr. They could have a tendency to get attached to the wrong people tho

I’ve seen many many couples having 7th house Mars in synastry but this overlay is super chaotic imo, creates a back and forth dynamic that ends nowhere. The house person is the chaser here, they are always pushing commitment on the Mars person cause they don’t want the mars person to “slip away” or something. The mars person enjoys the eagerness of the house person and finds it very attractive and could enjoy challenging the house person’s interest. Eventually if the mars person isn’t that interested they get bored and are often the first ones to walk away

A very similar outcome I've seen happens with 7th house Mars in Composite. This could make the bond between the two a bit "forced" and dragged out. These two are very connected. one of my favorite things about this aspect is that it misses the rocky ups and downs of the previous aspects. it is still volatile and unpredictable but most of the spontaneous outburst tend to be pleasant rather than unsettling. these two are drawn to each other like two nuclear fission molecules. Uranus is normally the dominate force and can often be intense, radiant and even perplexed and vexed by moon. This aspect is kind, nurturing and VERY healing to have in a relationship but it can also create a “life is perfect” mentality between two people that builds internal deceit. these two enjoy one another, deeply but something deep down is off or slightly unclear. this aspect can throw a veil over other harsh aspects in the chart rather than aid them and this exuberates the problem. This can be a dangerous aspect to have in synastry especially if these two happen to have a high concentration of Pluto on their own. This aspect can often appear in cases where two powerful people both emotionally and spiritually come together. The moon person is often tense, but erotically drawn to Pluto. they want Pluto but also find Pluto to be overbearing and slightly unpredictable in terms of their emotions. Pluto is often driven to have the moon person, but in many ways this can be done through manipulation or violence depending on the nature of the Pluto person. Pluto often experiences a see-saw effect with their feelings making it very hard for them to tame the intensity of their feelings when dealing with the moon person. the moon person is often the more rational POV in the pairing and manages to counter the Pluto persons attempts at control. This aspect is characterized by the same dark buzz as it’s predecessors, though in a lighter context. The intimacy can be instantaneous with this aspect and is part of the reason for the plethora of fast bonding that takes place in relationships in this generation with the Pluto in Sagittarius generation. the more untucked and hidden away sides of oneself feels more comfortable being visible in the eyes of the other. The Moon person is VERY nurturing to the Pluto person often preferring to ensure that Pluto is in high spirits or even going as far as soaking up Pluto’s sadness. This aspect is deceptively steady. It isn’t as rocky as the harsher aspects and it also isn’t as light and warm as the easier aspects, it’s more of a neutral grey area full of earthy passion. This aspect is slow building and often involves two very serious people, with two very deep desires of intimacy. The Pluto person is very tolerant of the moon person, they see threw the moon and can often gauge the emotional state of their lover easily without words. the Pluto person is often the more grounded and protective lot and prefers to have the moon to themselves but also is comfortable enough to mind their own business when the moon person is out and about doing their own thing. The Lilith person is powerful and emotionally intense, at times to much for the more sensitive moon person. This is a couple that can have an Off and On quality to their attraction. The moon Person is deeply in ether for the Lilith person but also feels like the Lilith person is dangerous in some way to their emotional well being, in some cases this is an imagined threat while in others it’s real as the Lilith person does strike at a very deep lace in the Moon person emotional trauma and roots. The Lilith person is passionate for the Moon person but places defenses due to the rather wishy washy nature of the moon person. the two play a game of watching the other which often times creates an imaginary barrier on the two. This aspect is VERY intense and often times these two are both fearful of the energy that’s produced by their intimacy. This aspect between two people can be a very significant one for both  people involved. The Juno in ones chart represents what someone’s ideal mate for life should and will be like and the moon is our core, our heart and emotional state so having ones moon in such tight aspects can usually be a strong marriage indicator. Juno person feels deeply content with the Moon person as their means of expressing their feelings and emotions is done in such a way that they’ve always wanted or desired. They can often feel naturally close to the Moon person and see them as a future prospect often adoring the means of which the juno person shows their more softer and intimate nature. :This contact at a tight orb can be really sweet and passionate for a couple to have. It can turn friends into lovers. It is best described as a constant fiery/emotional romantic aura to the interactions. It is so lovely to see between two people. It makes outsiders smile and they can literally feel the chemistry between them. It is cozy yet smothering with  flames of love. I call this one of the true love contacts because it is even more emotional than the conjunction. It is commonly seen between family members and close friends too. If no romantic relationship is involved it’ll be simply cozy and tight knit. They rarely let outsiders come between their bonds. It is a ride or die connection. Especially at tight orb. Consumed by you (aspects)

From doing plenty of research and indulging into my own knowledge, from what I’ve learned and have experienced, and what others have experienced, I’ve unraveled a list of aspects, overlays, and connections that show the birth of sizzling attraction between two people. Some of these can be based off feminine (the women’s) energy and masculine (the man’s energy), but it can still apply for same sex couplings. You also have to keep in point some of these are based off aspects, so you don’t need to know their rising sign (but in some you may), but the degree. You also have to remember that some of these aspects don’t all mean a promise to a long-lasting relationship or that they’ll always manifest healthily, it’s all about attraction in some form. It shows what makes the heart fonder, the mind cloudier, the air denser, the tension steamer, and the love tethered. Mind over matter? No. Body, heart, and/or soul wins in this case:

Eros/Psyche & other sexually based asteroids 

As you know, or can find from my directory, Eros and Psyche are my favorite asteroids. These aspects or connections have a “mean’t to be” feel to them, it’s a potent place to look at in synastry. In mythology they were married and soul mates but went through a lot to be together…

- His Eros conjuncts her Psyche 

-Eros and Eros are the same; due to my reasoning, I think this would be highly favorable and steamy. If you think about it, you guys would have the same sexuality that speaks for a deeper side of you than Mars does, and then your mars sign adds more flavor. 

-Eros conjunct their personal planets ( Sun,Moon,Venus, Mars etc.). You find them sexually attractive. 

-From research I’ve found other asteroids such as ( Lust, Sappho, Galatea, Adonis, Apollo, Aphrodite, or Vesta) conjunct Mars that show strong sexual attraction and a romantic admiration. I’ve noticed this is really potent with Lust. 

- Sappho conjunct Venus, Mars, and/or Sun shows a deep bond but how the person of the asteroid messes with the mind of the person with the personal planet. Yet, the Sappho person will want you and will pursue you. 

-Apollo conjunct Personal planets. You can’t help but to love the Apollo person and almost “worship them,” basically your admiration for them is perhaps strong. They favor you in return.

The Planets

-His sun and her moon conjunct/opposition/trine. For the conjunction, they seem to balance the masculine and feminine energies of these inner planets. These usually have a “long-lasting” feel to them and is very common amongst a “soulmate feel.” It’s not blazing hot with sexual energy but it’s for a long-lasting relationship and a romantic feel, it gives satisfying sex along with love. 

-Venus conjunct/opposite Mars. Mostly works as the girl’s Venus and the guy’s Mars. It’s pretty famous in astrology and a pretty famous indication of attraction, but some find it a little overrated which shows just how strong it can be at times. I feel like this can happen even if they truly don’t conjunct by degree but it won’t be as strong, I’ve seen how this aspect can be so addictive towards the two of them. It can be so strong that no matter how much you try, you can’t resist. 

- Venus/Moon aspects. Completely underrated in my opinion. The harmonious aspects such as conjunction and trine are way better. It shows a strong emotional and romantic link. It shows romantic affection and adoration in synastry, it’s a extremely strong thing to look at in both charts. It’s one of the most romantic aspects. 

-Venus/Saturn aspects. Extremely beautiful, strong, but hard to build up to. Therefore it builds endurance but becomes the glue that can hold two together. More so in a square or opposition, If there’s an attraction sizzling at first, the Saturn person will pursue the Venus person but they’ll also try to change and perhaps control them. Tension can grow a lot over time and can be overwhelming and too much for the Venus person, which is strong if you have lots of air or water in your chart. It’s more easier with a Trine or conjunction. Regardless, if these two planets make an aspect, it’s a karmic lesson that can aid you, or test you and break you. 

- Venus/Uranus aspects. Quick, exciting, zestful, and exhilarating, but only long-lasting if other aspects help. You guys are fascinated with each other, as it creates lots of excitement, adventure, and fascination. If you know the nature of Uranus, it’s about no restrictions and freedom. and if you apply that to love then I think it shows why you also need other aspects to balance that. It can be over-stimulating so look at other aspects. 

- Venus/Pluto aspects! Much, much, much stronger and steamier than the Venus/Mars aspects. The harmonious aspects make it easier, but this aspect isn’t for the faint-hearted. It’s something you have to also work through. This almost works like the Taurus (Proserpina) and Scorpio (Hades) relationship, so indulge in it but get ready for the roller coaster. It will be deep, intense, erotic, sexually charged, but deeply emotional nonetheless. It makes the relationship stronger. Much stronger if it’s looking at his Pluto and her Venus. 

-Venus/Neptune aspects. Indicator of finding your soulmate once again, and if you don’t believe in that (which is fine), it’ll give you that feeling. It feels like a fairytale and is extremely romantic, along with spiritual.It feels very ethereal and dreamy, but remember Mr/Miss Venus, don’t put the Neptune person on a pedestal. 

-Mars conjunct (or even trine) Uranus. Two words: Kinky Sex. There’s a instant attraction and a promise for…interesting but explorative sex. I think this kind of speaks for itself when you combine the nature of both of these planets. 

- Moon/ Pluto aspects. Extremely powerful when they Conjunct, second strongest aspect is Trine. The Pluto person will really want every part of the Moon, and will want to know every soulful thing about them. It’s a strong aspect but not easy to deal with that, it gives a Scorpio taste to your relationship, and it’s not always easy when it comes to the extremes. 

-Mars/Pluto aspects. Makes for strong sexual chemistry but not emotional like the above aspect. This is all about the physical arena in the relationship. It can be dangerous and competitive, so you have to be careful of this aspect when it comes to anger and fights. 

- Her Moon conjunct his Mars. I feel like this is more emotional then the Venus/Mars aspect, but it may cause so much attraction that you can have lots of sex. It’s very passionate but his Mars needs to be wary of her emotions, because Mars is assertive and won’t think twice. So as passionate it is, you have to be wary. 

The Aspects (Midheaven, Ic, Ascendant, Descendant) 

**look for a Double Whammy, meaning it occurs to both of your charts and is a really evident theme in your relationship  

-Cross aspects between one person’s personal planets and/or angles (angles are what I’ve parenthesized in the title) and the second person’s lunar node. The conjunction is seen as the most intense, as some astrologers only count this aspect (do what you feel is evident). It has a Karmic feel to it.  

- Similar sense as to above, but your personal planets conjunct one of their angles. This is stronger for the Ascendant/rising and/or Descendant. 

- Neptune conjunct their luminaries (Sun and/or Moon), other personal planets, and Ascendant or Descendant. This gives a sense of giving into a partner or surrendering your heart to them

-Your/their Mars conjuncts their/yours Midheaven or Ic angle, surprisingly it pulls out strong desires but of course this isn’t always the case. I was surprised when doing research and found this one, but after indulging in to the topic and what I’ve experienced along with others, it does hold very true. 

Juno

-Aspects made, by degree, to the other person’s personal planets are really good and in fact common amongst married couples. This can even be evident for the angles of the MC/IC

Lilith 

First of all Lilith is for females and not the male, it’s not strongly evident in a males chart unless of course they connect to it. 

-Lilith aspects to their/your personal planets (including ascendant/rising). Magnetization is strong and there’s bountiful amounts of obsessive qualities to the relationship and strong sexual attraction. Lilith is dangerous though, so be careful. It can leave men obsessive or heartbroken as it can break relationships too, it has no logic to it. It acts just like Pluto, so handle with caution.  

Vertex 

Vertex is like the second descendant

-Your/their Vertex conjuncts or is at opposition of any personal planets, angles, or their/your Vertex. It shows a fated relationship that can affect you greatly. 

North Nodes

- I talked a little about this for the angles but any connections to the North Nodes do have a karmic and “meant to be” feel for them. Not all are positive and easy but you should really look there because it’s very soulful. 

Overlays

-Any of their Planets falling in your 5th,8th, and even 12th house can feel very strong, spiritual, romantic, or intense. It depends on the house. My overlay series should help with that.

💓soul mate aspects💓

One of the most popular applications of astrology (and at least 40% of my asks) concern love and relationship compatibility analysis. I’ve noticed that quite a few couples who are very happy like to describe themselves as “soul mates” and usually “feel” as if they known their mate all their lives, and/or that their chance encounter in this life is more like a deja vu. In my astrological studies (which now have extended to focusing on asteroids and astrological apogees/points), I’ve noticed some patterns regarding “fated” or “past life” aspects. Some “past life” mates may also enter one’s life in tough times, playing the role of parent figure, friend, helpful sibling or generous business partner. This post lists aspects that indicate the potential for couples to be soul mates. Can be used as male to female or vice versa.

Ascendant of either person must conjunct Amor, Eros, Juno, North Node, Saturn

Ascendant of either person must conjunct the Ascendant, the Descendant, Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, or Pluto. Maximum 3 degrees orb.

Ascendant trine/opposite Ascendant, Descendant, Moon, Sun, or Saturn within 2 degrees orb is also valid.

If none of this applies, soulmate potential is unlikely, even though happiness can’t and shouldn’t be ruled out. If birth time is unknown, the Sun can be used in place of Ascendant (however, Sun conjunct Moon should not be used as a confirmation).
