Cord-Cutting Spell
A spell inspired by the Cord-Cutting Spell from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. As the witch Prudence instructed: “All you need is two candles joined by one wick, and whatever emotional ties you have with Nicholas will be burned away for good”.
This is a variation of a myriad of tie-cutting spells or seperation spells out there. Some use a cord or ribbon, some two candles joined together by some twine. It’s the symbolism of your spells and how you want your intention to manifest using various materials.
Thus, the spell:
Procure two candles joined by one wick. Write your name on the first candle and the name of your lover on the second. Perform this spell with full resolve as this will cut all emotional ties you have for the person. No holding back, no second thoughts.
Light the wick and chant these words:
“Fire, O Fire, hear my desire.
Burn the ties that binds _____ to me.
Fire, O Fire, grant my desire.
Burn the ties and release me free.”
Let the candldes burn down, releasing all bonds that bind you from the person.
