Prayer for today. God I thank you for a new morning full of mercy and grace. I come to you asking for forgiveness of any sin I committed in word or in deed. I pray that you keep us in your loving care in today. I bind anxiety and fear in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare victory and long life in the name of Yeshua. Father heal the sick and those who are grieving today. May you send us out into the world to spread your gospel and give the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. Getting to know me
Hello guys. I’m Ebony, soon to be 30 years old in a very weeks =) and I live in a small town in northeast Louisiana. I graduated from Grambling State University ( Go Tigers ) and a proud Special Education Teacher. I first gave my life to Christ after a horrible breakup and he was the only one who could put me back together. I had a devastating loss that started in March of 2015 when I lost an aunt who helped raise me then three months later I had an uncle to leave and then January 2016 I lost my best friend my TT as I called her. I never lived with my mom and I was ok with that because she literally lived down the street from me lol. My TT was like my mom and she was literally my all in all. She would always encourage me to do right by God and others. She taught me how to pray and what to pray. I loved her beyond words and I’m so thankful for the time I had with her. After her death I literally started acting out. I went from seeing different guys and just giving away every part of me to the wrong guys for the wrong reasons. I wanted the hurt to leave and sex and drugs only masked that pain that I felt. It wasn’t until one of those times where I wanted a quick fix to ease my hurt turned into 10 tiny toes! When I found out I was pregnant my life CHANGED. I had someone else to care for and look after and I wanted my SON to see the best part of me. Without God’s grace and calling on my life I would surly be in hell spending eternity. He loved me enough though everything I went through and he’s still calling me higher and higher. I thank God for saving my life! I pray whatever you are going through that you allow our Father to heal you and make you whole. <3 I love you all. Until next time. Isaiah 43:18

Did God break your heart?
The title is something I said for three year straight after I lost aunt. She raised me and molded me into the woman I am today and on January 5, 2016 she was gone! My entire life just gone. I prayed day in and day out for God to heal her and to even give her some of the years I had left on this Earth and he didn’t. How could God give me something so precious and loving and take it away from me? How could he expect me to keep living if the reason for me to live is gone? If you sound like me I want you to restore your faith in God and allow him to heal your broken heart. It’s not an easy process or a quick fix. This takes spending time with God, seeking Godly counsel and allowing God to heal you. I’m not a pastor but I am a servant of God that has been through this trial and I want to offer some encouragement and support to help you through this time. I will post again on tomorrow about how this once saved and spirit filled young woman who was on fire for God and lived life fully and on purpose turned into to a girl full of grief, hurt, resentment, and fear of the unknown. I pray whatever grief you are experiencing that you allow God to heal you. God is close to the brokenhearted. Be encouraged. Talk to tomorrow =)
